I had taken my 2000 Mercedes CLK430 to the dealership prior to that, and it was like a revolving door with me going back again and again to address recurring tire problems. Then once American Tire worked on them, no more problems! So then when it came time to deal with other car repairs on my out-of-warranty car I brought it here. Every issue was addressed quickly and professionally, and for MUCH MUCH less than the Mercedes dealership would have charged me. The final straw for me was when the Mercedes dealership told me after checking my car's air conditioning system that it had a bad compressor and would need to be repaired for nearly $3,000! I immediately sensed something wasn't right, but just after receiving that repair quote I took the car off the road for a few years. When I wanted to get it running again I had Larry pick it up from my driveway and tow it to his shop for a complete once-over. Picked it up today and the car runs just as good after sitting for two years in the driveway as if I drove it just yesterday!!! What's even better, Larry confirmed that in fact there was not a problem with the air conditioning (as Mercedes' repair shop had stated) and the entire bill came to a FRACTION of what Mercedes had quoted just for the A/C repair alone! I'd like to keep my car for a long time and would not take this, or any other car I own in the future, to anyone other than Larry. He and his staff represent that elusive holy grail: mechanics who are deeply experienced working on all kinds of cars, reasonably priced and completely trustworthy!!!! So I have it towed to American Tire Center and wait for the call. When I go to pick up my car, I notice that my rearview mirror is gone! No where in my car. So I go back into the shop and the mechanic has no idea what I'm talking about. "Are you sure it's not in the car?" I tell him that it's not there, and he even checks. He goes into the back office and lo and behold, it's in a drawer! I ask why my mirror was put in a drawer in the back office and the mechanic claims the glue fell off. I guess the glue also made my mirror fly and open drawers on it's own. Looking through the paperwork, there was no mention of an issue with my mirror. A few days later I smell gas and my engine light is on. I take it to AutoZone to have it inspected. When they (American Tire Center) replaced my radiator, they did not tighten down the parts, and different parts of my car were damaged because the instruments were not secured. I will not be returning to this mechanic. Good luck to those who do.

Aside from a little long of a wait but was to be expected with one guy half the time but when you go to these places you expect time will be involved depending on the service and issues. I received 4 new tires. But I was impressed by the cursory inspection of the vehicle with a report also printed out with their findings. Now pricing has many levels but as with everything else today don't expect tire service to be cheap when everything else is expensive. Either way you do have options from lower to higher and in between. The guys did their job as well as handling periodic walk ins as well. Don't expect the cost of a donut and the speed of getting a cup of coffee. Just because its tires doesn't mean business and how it operates would be different in cost and time, but I will say they did find that I have a bad ball joint which would've never been found at any of the 5 different mechanics and accessory shops I've been at in the last 2 years getting a 17 year old car up to new car running speed.
