I've been to many auto service centers, stations and shops but I have to say they do a more extensive inspection with pictures of their work as well. Aside from a little long of a wait but was to be expected with one guy half the time but when you go to these places you expect time will be involved depending on the service and issues. I received 4 new tires. But I was impressed by the cursory inspection of the vehicle with a report also printed out with their findings. Now pricing has many levels but as with everything else today don't expect tire service to be cheap when everything else is expensive. Either way you do have options from lower to higher and in between. The guys did their job as well as handling periodic walk ins as well. Don't expect the cost of a donut and the speed of getting a cup of coffee. Just because its tires doesn't mean business and how it operates would be different in cost and time, but I will say they did find that I have a bad ball joint which would've never been found at any of the 5 different mechanics and accessory shops I've been at in the last 2 years getting a 17 year old car up to new car running speed. read more

I went in for a dead battery. I have been back 2x because the battery dies if I don't drive my car for 2 days. They keep saying the battery is fine. I have tried to call there but you cannot call directly. I have tried to call customer service for Monroe but after waiting for 20 minutes I am DONE. I would not recommend this service center. Went in today with a slow leak in a tire and asked if it could be plugged. The woman told me I had to make an appointment for the next day or the day after. Really. My 84 year old mother was referred to Mr. Tire in Burlington, NJ by Autozone also in Burlington, NJ. She went to Auto Zone to have a brake light replaced. She was able to purchase the brake light at Auto Zone for $12.00 but they told her they do not do installations. She took the brake light up to Mr. Tire and the female manager on duty advised her they would not install a light purchased elsewhere, she would have to purchase from them and that the light and installation would cost her $222. WHAT????? I am thinking with prices like that .. they should be called Mr. SCAMMER. Walmart will install for about $15.00...I live in FL and she is in NJ and this just burns me that there are scammers and con artists who will take advantage of anyone who doesn't know or isn't able to do basics of car maintenance Shame on you! I had to have my mom's car towed from this place. The customer service and management at this place was the worst. They let my mom leave a service appointment without doing work that she needed done. She went in August 25 for service and according to the service report they did a diagnostic and cleaning because there was a lot of oil under the hood. They let her leave with a valve cover leak. She went back a few days right before the holidays for a routine oil change, which she was early for. They allowed her to leave again without changing the leaking valve cover gasket. A few days later the engine started making a loud noise so she turned it off. She had the car towed back to the shop since they had just done the oil change a few days ago. They said she needed 3900.00 dollars of work. They said the plugs and coils needed to be replaced due to oil leaking in the cylinder. That included replacing the valve cover gasket and a complete set of coils because three of the coils were behind the manifold and could only be accessed and diagnosed by removing the manifold. The manager said she told my mother about the need for a valve cover gasket to be replaced but she denied the service. My mother was there early for an oil change and would not refuse a service that serious. The mechanic I towed the car to was able to do the repair for 742.00. He showed me how the the parts were over priced by double. There was another time this place told her she needed a motor mount replaced but I had her get a second opinion and we were told it was not needed. This place tried to sell her 2 tires to replace 2 perfectly good tires with good tread and no dry rot. She keeps up with her car very well. These people take advantage of elderly and people that don't have a thorough knowledge of auto repair. Find another shop. read more

These guys have made me realize that going back to the dealer may not be so bad. I took my SUV in for squeaky brakes. They told me the rear brakes, rotors and pads should be replaced. I did it for over $600. 5 weeks later, the squeaking is worse than ever and now there is grinding sounds. I go back complaining and they tell me the FRONT brakes are worn and warped. Apparently they didn't look at front brakes at all first time around. Having lost trust in them, I call the Mazda dealership who says their price for the same brake repairs is $471. If I could give negative star ratings, I would. I went in to get new tires on my vehicle. After waiting for three hours, they came to tell me that I indeed needed new tires, you know - the exact thing I went in for. Then they proceeded to tell me that they'd have to order the tires in and they'd be here the following day. I scheduled for three days later to ensure the tires would be there, and to make an appointment so I didn't waste my time or theirs. I show up this morning around 9:45, for a 10a appointment. I sat in the waiting room till 11a, when they finally decided to take the vehicle from the lot, to the parking garage. At this point I advised that I was being picked up and asked if 2p was appropriate for the vehicle to be completed. I advised that I had an appointment at 4, and would need the vehicle by 3 at the latest. They agreed that it was enough time and assured me that it would be completed. I returned at 2p and my vehicle was still on the lift, no tires. I walked inside to see what was going on. I was advised that the wrong tires were delivered and that they'd need to order the correct tires. They had the vehicle on the lift since 11a, and they only JUST found out at 2p that they had the incorrect tires?? Spoke to the manager, and he advised the mechanic brought the vehicle onto the lift, and then went to lunch. They took a 3 hour lunch? I did not receive a call or any notification that there was an issue with tires. I advised that I needed the vehicle back and they assured me they were taking it off the lift. I left to grab food and was gone a half hour. I came back and the vehicle was still on the lift. How long does it take to take a vehicle off a lift? This was supposed to be a super simple, easy task and they completely dropped the ball. This is a Goodyear location. They live, breathe and maybe even consume tires for a living. How do you order the incorrect tires, or have a company deliver incorrect tires? If you're that terrible at what your business predominately does, then maybe you should reconsider your profession. They tried to bill me for their time, air filters, and other small items, none of which were completed. Absolutely appalled at this location and I would never recommend my worst enemy to come here for anything. read more

Avoid this place! Damaged my wheel during a simple tire replacement in June 2019 and I was told to get a quote, they would reimburse. I did so and submitted everything within a couple weeks. Now it is November 2019, after at least a dozen calls to the location, half a dozen to the corporate "customer service", and lot of run around "you'll be contact next week" and "I'll call you back with a status"....Still no resolution or reimbursement. After having one of my tires replaced at a non reputable place I stopped to get it checked out because the car wasn't driving at its full capacity. The shop was very busy but you took the time to come out to check the car. The lug nuts were loose and you had all the other tires checked out and tightened. My nephew went to Mr Tire on Rt 541 in Burlington, NJ for brakes and rotors. They only replaced the rear brakes and rotors. They had difficulty in obtaining the correct rotors After replacing only the rear brakes, they intended to put the old rotors back on so he could have the car back during the wait for rotors. Unfortunately, they dropped and broke one of the old rotors. Bottom line, he didn't get the vehicle back for 4 days. He had to borrow cars from family to get to work. To top it off, they grossly overcharged him - over $600. According to Google, the average cost of brakes and rotors in Burlington NJ is $250 to $400. Outrageous. Plus he still has to make arrangements to get the front brakes replaced. Obviously, he's going to any repair shop except Mr Tire. read more

By far the worst service and customer service I've ever received. Lee is extremely rude and has a smug nonchalant attitude when bringing up any issue. Brought my car in for a steering rack replacement FRIDAY and was told I'd be notified when it was ready. I called Saturday night before closing just to check on the status and was told they were wrapping it up and it should be done that night or the morning. I call in the morning and they Said they are wrapping it up now and will get a call when it's done. I get no call that day. It's a place that no one likes to go, a repair shop to get their car fixed. Before walking in you have no idea how much you're going to spend, but you fear it could be 1,000 or more. Fortunately, at Vespia's, this is not the case. Sure, labor is expensive ($85/hr) as it is with all places, but Vespia's doesn't seem to use this to their advantage. I've been there many times and I've walked out of there satisfied everytime. The guys at the front desk are friendly and you are never without your car for days on end. I was apprehensive to have my tire changed and repaired at this location because of past management experience. However, because of my proximity and being a Sunday morning I decided to give it a go. I arrived at 8:45 to be first in line for 9am open. I encountered the manager Dave and he was courteous understanding helpful and all about Customer Service. My tire was repaired without an appointment and was out in less than an hour. He obviously passes that on with his staff. Don't go to Mr. Tire. Big RIP OFF. Manager tries to sell you unwanted services and insists that every repair is needed. Told me I needed new tires, brakes, struts on a trip I came in for an oil change. After arguing with him, I declined. Went to another shop for a second opinion and all of those were fine. Mr Tire claimed my tires were at 2/32 of tread and I needed new ones ASAP because thats the lowest tread allowed by law, yet this other shop said I had 6/32 left! Also, be careful with their cheap Chinese parts that they mark up. I was quoted for new brakes coming out to over $300 before labor costs. I googled the part numbers and they were all Chinese parts totaling less than $100. No wonder I need brakes after one year when the genuine brakes lasted me over 3 years. Their brakes for life at $109 is a scam. I found other shops in town offering lifetime brakes for $99! Shop around and don't have Mr Tire scare you. BUYER BEWARE read more

Was referred to this location from another installer because they had a Road Force balancing machine (few in the area). I read the bad reviews here, but options for Road Force were slim and this was the closest. It was a mistake to show up. While the seemed knowledgable about tire specs and basic installation, they refused to consider that a customer might be bringing new information as well. I had a printed reference from the manufacturer's tech dept. with confirmed OK for use of an oversized tire width, but they wouldn't listen. My issue was with the tire mounting on wheel and balance there, not the driving dynamics themselves (this wasn't the first time I'd used off-spec sizing from OEM). Rather than talk to me or appreciate the full scope of the situation, the worker I spoke with saw black and white from the factory sticker. He walked away from me as I was talking to him mid-sentence, and went behind the glass door to the service bay where he sat there and ignored me and I scratched my head wondering why someone would be so rude. Bottom line - there's a Midatlantic AAA in Mt. Laurel with a Road Force machine. Save your time and go there instead. Would never recommend Mr. Tire from attitude alone. The tire thing I can get - if you're not used to custom applications for motorsport or whatever, that's fine. Just don't be a jerk about it. Good businesses are run by good people. I had a great experience at this location. Our car broke down mothers day weekend on our way down to DC while I was supposed to be taking my nephew camping. The manager Dave was nice enough to come out after hours and take a look at our car and give us a preliminary assessment of what was going on. We brought the car in first thing in the morning and were out of there within 2 hours. The work was done quickly and I was kept in the loop the entire time. I ended up being charged half of what was quoted me in the beginning. All of the managers and staff were very helpful and friendly and get us back on the road in no time. NEVER will I visit another Mr. Tire. Burlington NJ location is nothing but incompetent. Took them 2.5 hours to replace my flat, in the mean time they successfully were able to have my van fall off the lift as to were the guy rushed to lower it and reset the lift, paint is damaged on driver side rocker panel, scratched the ever loving shit out my door handle against the lift as it rubbed the bare unprotected steel of the lift and then ruined my families personal belongings by throwing EVERYTHING out of the van onto a dirty, greasy wet floor looking for the spare tire release and tool kit for 45 minutes in which they actually had to come get me to show the "professionals" how to put back a spare tire under the van. Also one of the incompetent "techs" was using profanity, dropping the f word every 3 seconds and my toddler daughter could hear clear as day. Not only that, that same fouled mouth tech tried to rip me off by saying I had a bad tire air pressure sensor, which I clearly did not because if he actually started the vehicle and looked, the low pressure light went out. The light stays on when only the key is on without the engine running just like every other light on the dash. Even tried to look convincing by hooking up the OBD2 scanner, which has nothing to do with a tire sensor. I am stumped on how this location is even allowed to operate or yet still be in business. Oh, and before the whole spare tire fiasco, they returned my vehicle and said I was ready to go and didn't even bother to put the spare in the van, they forgot to give it back to me, only then did the 45 minute fiasco ruining my families property and falling off the lift trying to put the spare under the van commence. read more
