Got a call this morning about my feedback left with their website by Ernest who was the same guy who initially helped me on the first visit. He made it clear that he wanted to make things right and said it was likely a that the sensor just needed to be reset. 30 minutes later and my car is ready, and they say one of my sensors was faulty and was replaced free of charge. Not 100% buying it, but as long as it works. Unfortunately my low tire pressure light is on, but the tech said about 20 minutes of driving would get it reset. Everyone I came in contact with at this location was so knowledgeable and professional but the 3 people I specifically want to mention by name are Ernest, Gary, and Joshua. Such outstanding representatives of your business and the reasons I will definitely be coming back! I had such a terrible experience dealing with "Tires Are Russ" in Covina (see my other review). The man over the phone there, Bob, was so condescending and rude to me for no reason, I can't even tell you how much I appreciated the professionalism from these 3 gentlemen after that! Ernest helped me with all my questions in the initial ordering process and made sure I got the tires I wanted (unlike Bob who was trying to sell me tires he had in stock I wasn't interested in). Ernest even took the time to check with the technicians and make sure my wheel locks wouldn't be a problem because I don't have the key. He was beyond helpful. Gary was the one to call me and let me know my new tires were in, they were open until 6pm and that I could come down at my own convenience. (Unlike Bob who tried to yell at me that I didn't call the tow truck soon enough because he was closing early!) And Joshua was the one to check my car in and help me in person. At one point I said "can I ask a stupid question?" to which he replied "there are no stupid questions." Wow. Such a breath of fresh air (especially after dealing with Bob who tried to make me feel stupid with everything I said!) I can't thank you all enough for your courtesy and professionalism. The prices are good , price match and so on . Initial service is good. Don't count on excellent overall value if you don't fortify/upgrade your tire warranty ! I took in a tire from a set of four I purchased that had sidewall split ! I had to pay 50 % of full cost (even though I purchased at time of sale ) and charged for mounting , etc as well . I just visited America's Tire last night re: an inflation issue and as usual, I was satisfied with the service I received. When it comes to buying tires, I definitely do my research and shop around for best price. America's Tire is always a contender, though not always a winner. What I do appreciate is their service and flat repair policy. I have never paid for a flat repair, perhaps because I am a good customer, but I suspect that it is their policy. I do, however, always tip my repair tech. All in all, America's Tire is a great place to buy. read more

I called America's Tire to see if I needed an appointment; they said no. I drove to the business and walked in; the worker at the counter said we'll be with you in a minute. I stood for a few minutes, then sat in a nearby chair. After waiting for 20 minutes, another couple walked in and the guy at the counter said, "how can I help you?" He proceeded to get their service started, so I walked out and drove to Grand Tires who helped me with excellent service in 5 minutes. Never again will I use America's Tire. read more

I used to come to this place specifically for the professionalism but my recent experience was terrible. The attitude I got was that because flat repair is free they can totally botch your tire without any accountability. The everyday customer is not a charity case... I'd be happy to pay for quality service but it's apparently not an option here. Bottom line: Americas Tire wont stand behind their work and are quick to give you the run around when they objectively perform a poor repair. Don't be fooled by all the smiling at the front desk. What ultimately matters is who's doing the service, which is a huge gamble Long story: I had a flat repair done at Americas Tire in the Bay Area ~400 miles away. Within a week the low pressure light came back. I don't drive this car a lot so I would fill it up when I needed to drive. Now I'm back in Azusa and took my car to this location and let them know I suspect their previous repair was faulty. What ensued was a series of poor interactions with the front desk staff, all of whom repeated some scripted dialogue about how they couldn't fix it. They were convinced it couldn't be fixed, just by looking at it? No one attempted to mend the previous poor repair. It was a big blame game that was made so much worse by a super condescending front desk person who clearly knew nothing beyond upselling. The script I got was: "The patch is leaking so it must be that you're tire is too damaged" Hah! The original Americas tire showed me what caused my flat in the first place, a small screw! These people act like I ran over a boulder The best part of my experience was talking to the tech who returned my keys. He actually tried to explain what he saw and what I could do. Such a shame. So we had low air in a tire , two days in a row after filling it back up. So this morning I made a same day appointment for Americas tire for 130. I arrived about 15 minutes late. So they check me in immediately and take my car in immediately, mind you on a Saturday. I thought I would have to go home and wait for them to call me but they were like nah it'll be like 30-40 minutes so I figured I'd wait. They text me so there is text updates. I sat outside in their outdoor waiting area figuring I'd work on my phone/ wait until 230 before I ask them the status of the car. It's 225 now and I'm home because they finished at 215 and took the screw out of my tire, repaired it, and at no charge. Dope AF right? read more

America's Tire sinking lower... Made an appointment to balance my front tires as I was getting a small shake in my steering wheel. Arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early as requested. Place seemed very busy and was told to wait in my car. Tech comes out about 10 minutes later and minimizes my problem stating my weights were all in tact and I had feathering high spots in my front tires causing the shake. He didn't even check the other tire or the insides of these tires as I know there are weights there ( I do my own brakes) Obviously trying to get out of the job as they had promised it would be on the house. I was going to gladly tip the tech 20 bucks. I would be more satisfied if they admitted they were understaffed and couldn't do the job at that time. This place is turning into a joke. read more

These guys are garbage! Went to get a tire, the current one I had was flat! I was asking if I can use the synchrony card that was not under my name They said no you have to go home and get the person with the card. But I was like I have all the info you'll need! Card info, account info etc! Plus how am I gonna go home if I have a flat! WTH! Anyways went to another Americas tire right away with barely any air on my wheel and they fixed it no problem! Plus I don't like these guys attitude, keep pressuring you to buy additional parts for the vehicle after you've told them it's fine plenty of times. I brought my Tesla Model x for an issue with a slow leak and they found two nails and patched them up for free! I also got my Tesla Model S for tire rotation and balance and it is free as well. Horrible customer service. From them losing my spare tire tools my last visit to now the manager trying to walk back the fact he admitted to an issue with the tire but saying I have to pay for a new one, this place is a joke. Also, I came in for a tire rotation and you would think a tire place would check the pressure of the other tires, to my surprised they neglected the whole passenger side. Seriously? Josh is no manager and needs training to understand the term customer service. You don't tell someone a certain criteria would happen for there to be a bad tired and then when shown the very thing you try to blame it on something else. Take ownership that sometimes there are bad tires and fix the problem. Absolutely dismal. Ok now I can add more to their horrible non existent customer service. They send this awesome auto reply response and when you fill anything out no one gets in touch with you. Please save your money people and go somewhere else. I've been bringing my cars here for 20 years. My most recent visit led me here when I had a nail in my tire. I knew I was a few years away from all my tires needing replacement and that I was going to be asked if I wanted to replace all of them instead of simply patching the nail. The advisor showed me that the tread was near replacing but the age of tires also being 6 years old.. I'm glad he reminded me of the age because that is kind of old for tires.. I don't care what the tread looks like. Some of the reviews here get upset about being asked to replace there old tires... yes it is a business and yes you probably should replace them. Let me start off by saying I walked in this establishment without an appointment and was appointed very quickly by Tony B. I explained to him that I needed one tire and when he checked my tires two tires were the wrong size. I have always gone to the same company but different locations..so he checked the history and seen that i've always trusted their company. With that being said, he took care of me and instead of getting one tire offered me two brand new tires to get the size problem solved at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE! I've been coming here since my first car at 16, so that makes it 18 years of coming here. I also got my in laws and parents and many other people to come here too. I went in the other day and they told me they couldn't repair it because I had a temporary patch on it. I've done that several times without issue and suddenly now I have to buy a new tire because of a small nail hole? I called somewhere else and they said they can take care of it no problem. The staff is always kind and courteous and really do a thorough job explaining what they're doing, what they found, etc. Prices are fair, though I don't really price compare tires too often so I could be wrong. I have enjoyed my four Yokohama tires (from America's Tire) for a couple of years now. In September I was in Oregon and managed to ruin (immediate flat from a big gash) the right front tire by running over a curb. The Tire Monkey in Roseburg (only tire place open on Sunday morning) was able to replace it with a slightly used Good Year tire with similar tread. Once I was back home I showed up at the Glendora America's Tire to ask them if that tire was OK. Yes, it was fine, but I also was surprised that the guy helping me said I could get reimbursed for that replacement tire. He went out of his way to help me, although I had to contact Tire Monkey to get them to email my receipt. America's Tire reimbursed me for my $80 spent on that replacement tire. Note to any fellow travelers who encounter tire issues: Take pictures of the damage, get receipts, on and on. I didn't have all that, but this America's Tire still was so helpful and I was grateful for the reimbursement they credited back to my Visa card. I'll continue to be a customer for life, as this company does take care of me and I trust them to keep me safe on all my future trips. read more

I was a loyal customer for nearly 20 years. The store under new management. Last time had rim damage issues as well but car was older and I let it go. This time my new Audi rims came up scratched. Not only one rim but two. That means someone attempted to replace the tire scratched it and did the same to a second tire. Also didn't know how to reset tire sensors. Had to do it myself. I have already sang the Pasadena (Colorado Ave)'s praises here on Yelp and I am happy to report that that is not an isolated experience for this chain company. The Glendora (on Grand Ave) location is equally as excellent with regard to both service quality and cost. I have already purchased new tires for my car thru them and today I had to come in for my mom's car-- noticed two tires were badly balding. She initially took her car to Costco to get a quote, thinking there is no way any other tire company could beat their membership prices. I told her to hold off and let me take it to my go-to tire place. She was skeptical to say the least-- Here I am now, waiting for my new set with $20 to spare for the same quality tires!
