Jeremy can use a lesson in customer service. Don't bother setting up an appointment... it doesn't mean anything. When I questioned why it takes 1.5 hours (with an appointment) to rotate the tires I was asked by Jeremy if I wanted my keys back and never given a new "estimate" on how much longer. Other tire shops in the area provide better service and prices. Check out Costco for tires. Same tires.. better service. Big Brand (523 Milpas) also has great service. read more

I am so glad to have this tire shop out here in Goleta. From the customer service to wait time to the tires themselves and the price everything was excellent! The employees are committed to treating customers well, and the assistant manager JR was very pleasant to talk to. I actually only went here because I'd been quoted a price for a set of rear tires by Costco that seemed excessive. I stepped outside and gave America's Tire a call and boy was that a good decision. JR quoted me an amazing price for a set of 285mm Michelin SuperSports. These are possibly the best daily drivable performance tires on the market and I got them for far cheaper than I would have paid at Costco. They told me it would take around 1 1/2 hours to get the tires done but I got a text alert just 50 minutes later! I am so happy with my new tires, and even happier with the great deal I got. Like I said, I'm glad we have America's Tire here in Goleta, everything about this place is phenomenal, especially the customer service; if you ever have an issue, the manager Danny will do his best to take care of you. This place is wonderful. The staff is super friendly--especially Edgar! He's professional, attentive, and easy to work with. I've been here a couple times for tire tread checks, free tire inflations, etc and have had a good experience each time. I got a new set of tires back in November 2020 and paid the extra $20/tire for the certificates (basically a warranty) because I know I'm not the most careful driver. Well, last week I hit a curb nicked part of my tire so I brought it in. Edgar was quick to assess the damage, order a new replacement tire, and had it installed the next day. It was completely covered by the certificate I purchased back in November (saving me $180!!) with no questions asked. They made such a terrible experience into a positive one! America's Tire on Fairview rocks! I came in because the TPMS light was on in my new (used) 2011 Honda CR-V. After checking the sensors and telling me they seemed fine, they tried recalibrating the system and told me to come back if the light was still on. The light never turned off, so I went back and they tried resetting it again. Upon my third return (as the light still hadn't turned off), they tried resetting it one more time before recommending I replace my sensors. That reset also didn't work, so they told me if I replaced all of the sensors, the issue should resolve. When the light was still on even after replacing the sensors, America's Tire tried two more times to reset the system. Eventually, the light turned off! Hooray! I wasn't pressured into spending a chunk of money during my first few visits, and once I did spend the money, they continued working with me to ensure the problem I came to resolve actually got resolved. Special thanks to J.R., Ivan, Jose, Kyle, and Erick, who were extremely thorough and kept me entertained while we figured out the issue. Will definitely be coming back for all of my tire needs! read more

Great and speedy service. They used a laser sensor to detect the thread life of my tires. One of my tire was super wore out because it was technically a spare provided by Tesla and I didn't have time to switch it out until 1.5 year later! ;/ The other 3 tires were about one month away from needing a replacement so the rep recommended that I should just change all the tires. I think waiting so long to change out that spare tire really degraded the other tires! Don't do what I did! They were not salesy or aggressive with their marketing which I really appreciated! Within 1 hour I got 4 new tires that came with 50k manufacture warranty and $180 dollars off of the whole purchase! I am very satisfied with America's Tires! Thank you so much!! read more

WOW- I went from 5 stars to 1 star! Let me tell you JR is a smooth talker and you should audio record or get in writing what your tire tread is in MM . i got conned but Edgar is solving it. i will edit this more later today. and give details so you can take and learn from what happened to me. If you can keep them honest on tread ware and ensure you speaking same measurement units and get proof, there are advantages it seems to them. More to come to clarify this but i could not let my 5 star review remain. I am so disappointed. I will edit it once again when Edgar solves the issues. I will upload photos too America's Tire is new, as of 9 months, to Santa Barbara area. They are part of Discount Tire group nationwide. On warranties on tires, the road safety suggests replacing when down to 4mm, but most warranties replace at 2mm, but JR told me their company is the (only) one that negotiated warranty at 4mm. Additionally, they facilitated my warranty paperwork so i didn't have to do anything on it. The rebate offered on my set of tires was easy. JR ensured the key data points i would need off my receipt were highlighted. Easy location off the freeway on Fairview. Clean comfortable seating while you wait. read more

Kyle was personable from the phone call to greeting me in person. I got a nail in my tire while camping in the area and AAA referred me to the closest tire place which was this location. They were busy and it wasn't far off from closing time. Kyle handled everyone with patience. All of the workers coming out from the back greeting customers who's vehicles were ready were filled with enthusiasm and after a long day and were kind- including my technician- Jose. Very disappointed in this location. I call to price 2 tires stating that could not afford 4 at the moment but would purchase 2 and come back for 2 more. Flash forward 30 days, my tire is punctured and come to find out, their method of giving me a deal is to remove the TIRE INSURANCE. I have been a customer of Americas tire for awhile now and this was the first time I opted to make an appointment ahead of time. Simple screw in tire situation. Upon checking in the person at the register had us wait while he answered the phone and proceeded to give the person in. The phone pricing and availability options for tires. This went on for a few minutes before he got back to us, clients that actually drove in to Americas tires for service. We led in with "hello, we have an appointment for a flat tire". We then did the drop off and walk around while we thought the tire flat was being fixed. We came back 30 minutes later and still nothing. So I asked for the keys back and said we would take it somewhere else. Scott then said we would be next and didn't know we had an appointment. Yet he was the person that checked us in after taking a phone call. The tire shop next store said they have us done in 5 minutes. So next time we will do that. Not happy with being made to wait for somebody sitting at home on their couch calling in for pricing for one. Secondly for not listening or processing what the client says an about having an appointment. And lastly, to complete the trifecta, taking an hour for a flat tire fix. All around fail by Scott the salesman. And more so management for maybe lack of training. I bought several sets of tires over the years from the America's Tire store at the Fairview Ave location since they opened. I was recently driving out of town and got a nail in a tire which I had a temporary plug installed, After returning to town I brought the tire to America's Tire to have a patch put on, the counterman told me the repair would not qualify for the free tire repair and could not be patched even if I paid for it and there was nothing America's Tire could do. I knew for a fact that the tire could be patched, I have worked in automotive repair for over 45 years. I ended up bringing the tire to another tire store down the street and they quickly patched the tire with a great attitude and bargain price. I will most likely be buying my tires from the shop down the street because they are a full service tire shop. read more

It was such a relief when we pulled into America's Tire in Goleta to be greeted by Joshua who came out to survey the damage and determined that our tires were 11 years old and we should definitely get four new ones. We went back to the office and he gave me comparison prices on about five different brands. I finally chose the Goodyears which only cost $175 each plus $22 labor. What really amazed me was how fast they were able to put the new tires on. We were out of there in about 40 minutes. Not only were they able to squeeze me in they offered me the tire warranty since our tires were purchased at this store only a few months prior. I'm a busy mom and don't have time to refill my tires with air as often as I should. Enter America's Tire! I didn't even have to get out of my car to get my tires filled the correct amount. I was given a tire report card of sorts that showed the health of my tires and I was blown away that my front and rear tire sets were wearing at completely different rates. I dragged my feet for a few weeks (don't judge me) because I figured I didn't have two hours to get new tires while I wrestled with keeping my 18mp quiet in a public space.
