I was really disappointed. While the person who helped us at the air fill up was nice, she was not educated or trained properly, or didn't want to help. I'm not sure. My TPMS sensor light was on after a five tire rotation done at another store. My family and I were travelling and wanted to have the TPMS sensors re-programmed. The lady that helped us said it wasn't possible without the 5th tire. So throughout the entire trip to So. Cal we had to keep checking the tire pressure to make sure we were alright to continue since we couldn't rely on the light. When I got back home, I took the vehicle to our local store and they re-programmed without having the 5th tire present. read more

A few years ago I replaced a tire and insured my tires and boy am I glad I did. After a blow out on the way to work I called AAA then made my way to America's Tire to find that for just $30 I would receive a replacement tire. Sweet! I had to order one to match and wait a day for it to come in. (They were ready to put a comparable tire on but silly me, I want them to match. Grrrrr.) I was told they would call when it came in. They didn't. I called after work and was told to come right in and they would put it on. I arrived in less than 10 minutes. They assessed all of my tires then explained a few things about it not being unusual for factory tires to wear out with 23K miles on the vehicle (news to me, but okay.) So I need another tire but not ready for that. Then I was told I'd have to come back the next day to have it put on since they got busy in the meantime. Also wanted to sell me windshield wipers...lately have needed it but hardly rains so not sure a necessity. read more

Bottom Line: I'm impressed - I'm not sure what else I can say. Fast, Professional, friendly, polite and the place is clean. Look at the shop - clean. Part I - First Encounters So, I have been sniffing around for tires for my Jeep for a while now. The tires were 20 (yes twenty) years old and the spare was 24 (!!) years old. It was probably time for new rubber.....ten years ago. I have been taking prices from everyone and I finally walked in here to talk with someone. I met JR and we started talking tires. JR is good at his job - he started building a relationship right away. He wanted to talk about dune buggies, Jeeps, wrenching etc - not really tires. I spent some time in sales, I know exactly what he was doing but truth be told he is genuinely a nice guy and he knows his stuff. I happened to come in during a Cooper rebate window, their prices were good, JR was able to upsell me onto their warranty that I didn't need (but with my kids sitting in my Jeep, peace of mind is worth it IMHO) and the whole process seemed to fall into place. I gave him a deposit and he ordered the tires. Intermission Part II - Getting Tired With the easy part done, next was the hard part which was getting the work done. The next day, I got the call that the Coopers had been delivered so I headed over and dropped off the Jeep. I went in to discuss and make sure that at least one person on site could operate a manual transmission. I have had serious problems in the past with vallets and manual transmissions....but the guy that was doing the work hopped in and took off like he had done it a million times. He left me there a little stunned at his competence. Isn't it sad that this is measuring stick now? When someone can do their job well, we are surprised? Anyways, wife picked me up and a few hours later we got the call to pick up the Jeep. This is how these experiences are supposed to go. There's not supposed to be long stories about what happened next, or how I had to go someplace else to get something fixed. All in all this place seems to run like a well oiled machine. Edgar R. provided more insight than just which tires to replace, which models etc but also informed me to contact Tesla for a suspension recall which caused my factory tires to burn out early. He even called to check to see how I liked the service and new ride on my tires. I am very careful as I own a Tesla model S and it requires special knowledge to jack the car without damaging. Upon returning home from the beach noticed my front tire was going flat. Turned out to be a screw in middle of the tread width. AAA said America's Tire does free flat repair. Made appt & met mgr JR Martin. He looked at the tire, determined still had sufficient tread depth remaining then he said "see the blue mark on the tire?" That means the tire sidewall has burnt... like a cookie left in the oven too long". I chkd this area with my fingernail & did not detect any difference in texture or pliability of the tire. There was no sidewall bulging or tears ... refused to repair the tire but quickly tried to sell me a new one. I researched tire mfg data and couldn't find anything to support his theory. Ultimately I went to another highly reputable tire store (local on n state st) & they fixed it (inside patch & plug) no problems or concerns or attempts to sell me a tire, just good honest service. read more

Wow! America's Tire saved us again! We were on our weekend vacation in celebration of our engagement. We are from out of town and were heading to Paso Robles for a weekend of wine and fun! We heard a huge noise like a shot gun and of course the car warning light went on that said we had a bad right rear tire. We were so bummed but thankful that America's Tire was near us in Goleta. We called several tire shops that were not willing to help us with our sudden emergency. But when we called America's Tire it was different. Danny answered the phone very nice and courteous. He was empathetic to our situation and told us to come over right away and of course they would get us handled. We arrived within 7 minutes and Adrian took the lead as he inspected the car and diagnosed the issue and made his recommendations. What a nice guy and he was so courteous and concerned for our well being. He gave my fiancé a solid deal on two tires and got us on the road quickly so we could continue our care free vacation. GREAT experience. Had a tire with low air, they not only found a roofing nail in the tire, but found the tough-to-see finishing nail in it as well- then checked the other three tires just to be sure! Didn't charge me for an hour of their work and I did not buy the tires there- I know where I am buying next time!!!!
