Really easy, quick, and nice service. I had pretty worn down tires and one of them got flat. Needed to quickly plug it so i could get to LA from SB. American Tires refused to help me get it plugged and instead insisted on changing all 4 tires. I purchased tires from Dal Pozzo Tire a couple of years ago. Today I discovered a nail in a tire and a friend told me not to worry because I can get it repaired for free. I said, right, in Santa Barbara, where everything costs a fortune. The tire wasn't flat so I drove to Dal Pozzo in Goleta. Martin took me right in, patched the tire, rotated all of the tires, and did it all for no charge. I was shocked since it is rare to find anyone willing to do anything for free these days. We had a blowout on our motorhome while on vacation and after calling a few tire shops found this shop had our tire in stock. We decided to replace all 6 tires as we felt Martin gave us a deal that could not be beat. He could have easily taken advantage of our situation as we didn't have the time or knowledge to shop around town, but he seemed honest and was very efficient as we were on our way home in less than 90 minutes once he started the work. I want to add to my five start review. I've now driven a thousand miles on my new K2 tires. I was expecting the same difficulty I had with the new set of K2s that was put on by Costco. The ones put on by Costco pulled so severely I had a replacement set put on, but those too pulled badly. I figured that that was simply the nature of this type of off road tire and I'd have to deal with it. However, this new set put on by Dal Pozzo on Pine in Goleta don't hardly pull at all. Had two tires balanced and was charged $20. Appeared to go fine. Next day I went to remove the two tires Dal Pozzo had balanced and discovered they had way over torqued the lug nuts and damaged the lug threads. I used a lug wrench so I didn't damage the threads. They were super tight all the way off the bolt. Had to spend few hundred dollars replacing the lugs on the two front tires. The guy used a pneumatic wrench putting the lug nuts back all the way to the end. He should have stopped near the tightening point and used a torque wrench but that is too slow. Everything is done fast but not right. The saddest thing it was a senior guy, not even a rookie. read more

I really like the guys out here especially the owner. They seem like honest tire salesmen who don't try and sell you extra stuff you don't need. The last time I bought a set of 4 tires from here the owner looked at three different distributers he worked with to ensure I got the lowest price on the tires I wanted. I also had them put on new wheels and they did a great job on those as well. I would definitely recommend these local guys over a larger tire chain like big brand because they don't try and get you for the small stuff. Side note, they do offer free tire rotations and they will fix a flat for a reasonable price. I will be coming back for my future tire needs. read more

Drove in here Monday morning with a leaky tire on my RV - drove out 20 minutes later with a new valve stem on the inside tire of the dual rear tires... Fast and cheap. Admittedly, I got there early and they were not busy - but I felt very well treated. And they had a large enough parking lot to, in this case, handle the 24' RV. I will definitely be back. read more

Came down to visit the UCSB campus and found out that my tire had a screw in it. Called Dal Pozzo Tire and the gentleman said to bring it down. Arrived within 10 minutes. Took us in right away. He pulled the screw and found out it wasn't leaking. Had us back in the road with 6 minutes. 2 minutes was checking the tire and 4 minutes talking about his daughters and the campus. Other places told us the wait time would have been 1 1/2 hour. I would have given this place 10 stars, but unfortunately it doesn't go that high. Thank you so much for the fast service. I've always heard that Randy would take advantage of a customer if given the chance but never experienced it until recently. Randy installed a different, more expensive set of tires than he said he would on a courier vehicle. Not a huge deal. These will be paid for and used happily but it is the last of our work vehicles to get tires from Dal Pozzo. Too many trustworthy options just down the road to put up with that kind of treatment. read more

Phoned in for a quote to assemble my spring/shock combination. 50 dollars... EACH. For something that takes literally 5 minutes each side. That's literally double the normal price... That is ridiculous. That is to compress the spring and screw in 1 bolt... Never had their tire service but I think i'll go bankrupt with the tires that I buy... last year bought 5 BFG 32 inch K02 and 4 Michelin Pilot Sport for both my cars. If assembling a strut cost that much imagine how much installing a tire would cost... Good thing there is big brand & america's tire coming soon... read more
