The Mechanics here are absolutely horrible. I would not choose to ever buy from these men again, they had lied about the work that needed to be done and even took parts from my car. America's Tire Company could do better to relieve these men of duty and put honest men in charge. Always make sure to follow up with The Better Business Bureau because they often times issue a refund, not to mention follow up with any supervisor if even to make sure that they have a mark. Went to Ian's for years and feel this is an upgrade in many ways, esp. in terms of speed of service. Mike here is great. My only wish is that they would offer the option to drive/drop you off/pick you up like Ian's did. Luckily they have wifi and a more comfortable wait area than Ian's though. read more

I sent my daughter to get her leaking tire fixed to America's Tire and they wouldn't even attempt to repair it and instead tried to sell her a new set of tires when they still have a fair amount of tread left. Sent her down the street to Bob Woolever's Tire Shoppe and no problem....kudos to them. And, they even confirmed there was plenty of tread as evidenced in the picture below. I've had consistently good service at all America's Tire stores I've been to over the last twenty years (including Discount Tire, their sister store in Minnesota). I was *thrilled* that a new location opened up in Goleta just a few weeks ago. This morning, I brought a flat tire to them. Joshua greeted me within a few seconds of walking into the store, a spotless, bright, welcoming space. He kept me updated on the process, and he brought me out to their work space to show me various things on my car (the rotors and my bent wheel). He looked up several wheel options for me, including Mercedes brand as well as less expensive options. I was in and out in under 45 minutes (I'd made an appointment for 9am) with confidence that I'd received quality service and that my car was safer on the road. I was very pleased that one of the employees showed me that my rotors need to be replaced--a service they don't provide, but he wanted me to know as a matter of safety). I recommend America's Tire without hesitation to anyone. I was pleased with the service I received from this specific store, and I'm thrilled that they are now in my neighborhood! read more

One of our vehicles is old and needed new tires. It is not worth getting top of the line tires because the vehicle gets driven about 150 to 200 miles per month. Because of that issue we were looking for cheap tires. A tire with a 40,000 warranty is good for about 20 years for us! We had considered going all the way down to Oxnard to Walmart to get tires, like the last time we got tires for the car, back in 2007. I just happened to see their ad on the net (Yes it worked!) and saw that they had some inexpensive tires. I ordered them online and they stated that they did not have them in stock, but they would be there in two days and they could install the next day after. I ordered them and scheduled an appointment for 8:30 am. I showed up at 8:20. A minute later one of the reps came into the checkout area and checked me in. He asked a few questions and suggested the certificates, aka warranty. As I explained that the vehicle may see 2000 miles a year, they had no value to me. He acknowledged and told me a price. I then checked out through their pos system. It asked me if I wanted my receipt emal/printed, if I wanted to be texted when the vehicle was finished and asked me if I wanted to be notified about issues with that tire. At 8:29 am they had the lug nut key lock from me and were starting to work on it. The rep stated it could be 40 minutes before they were done. I told him I would walk over to McDonalds and get some breakfast. At 8:49 am I walked back over to the shop and got a text stating that the car was ready. They had replaced all four tires, waxed the sides of the tires and were waiting to hand me the registration card and lug nut key lock back. The rep guided me out of the bay. I don't think it is appropriate to comment on the quality of the tires because that is beyond their control. They can only control the level of service that they provide. For that, they are AWESOME! Seriously . . . AWESOME. In this area, since we have lived here, we have bought tires at Firestone, Costco, Car Dealerships, etc. Never again. The service from this team has shown that we do not need to look any further, ever, again, for tire service for any of our cars. read more

I needed a set of Continental run-flat tires for my 328i and the newly-opened America's Tires in Goleta got them for me quickly and at a very competitive price. It took less than an hour for the installation and Edgar reset my tire monitors for me. The staff were very helpful and friendly over the phone and welcoming in person. The facility is sparkling clean with two restrooms and free coffee, easy freeway access and ample parking. With hundreds of locations around the US, the lifetime road hazard insurance on the run flat tires seemed like a no-brainer, I'd highly recommend these guys if you need new tires. read more

These guys were amazing! I drove 2 hours from the LA area to move into my new apartment in Goleta and my tire was leaking air at the end of the trip. I brought it to this location and the staff was extremely helpful. They let me know they were going to try to save my tire so I wouldn't buy a new one, which was super nice of them to do. Unfortunately it wasn't salvageable. I received a text about an hour later notifying me that the new tire was set and my car was ready for pickup. The staff there explained what the problem was and why that had happened to my tire in the first place, replaced my faulty sensor and everything was great. Bryan was very rude and pushy trying to sell me new tires. He insisted my tire would blow any second and acted like I had no idea what I was talking about, giving attitude because I said id need a week to get the money to replace all 4 as I had simply come in for a submersion test to see if there was a leak. He was insistent on getting his sale that he even tried getting me to buy smaller tires with horrible tread ratings. In reality I was weighing my options because I had already gotten other opinions stating I had another 5k on my tires before they were a concern. I had full intention of getting a full set of tires but after he acted like I was incompetent just for being a young female, I decided to take my business elsewhere. And WOW am I glad I did. Big brand tire next door was honest and told me half the repairs they claimed I needed were not urgent or not even a concern. They not only quoted me a lower price , but for BETTER tires than American was offering. Do not go here they only care about their sales and not about getting you what you really need. Bryan was even yelling at his coworker in the lobby in front of everyone. the other salesmen working seemed nice, and the mechanics were very sweet so it's a bummer they let a bad apple like this leave impressions on their guests. GREAT TIRE SERVICE & PRICES. Came in for new set of rims and tires. They helped me find the correct size for my car and in a style I wanted. Price was very good along with some great mid grade tires.
