I bought three replacement tires on a travel trailer -- 2 of which blew out (they were made in China.) AAA put on a flatbed, taken to Discount Tire outside of Dallas. Recommended 15 inch wheels and Goodyear Endurance, which I purchased. No more problems, but found blisters on each so they promptly replaced when I got to California at America's Tire. The end result turned out great but the purchase did not go smoothly. Sales guy David did a great job on a Saturday and set me up for install on Thursday. After that big problems. WARNING when you make a purchase the wheels or tires, they may get sold and become not avail before Americas Tires actually acquires them! Sales guy says "wheels are avail" but he doesn't actually secure them. He sends an email to my local store to order them. Until they actually acquire them from the manufacturer or a different Americas Tire location someone else could grab the last set. My Purchase was made on Saturday. The store did not take action in procuring the wheels until Wednesday late in day. So all day Mon, no action. All day Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday no action until so late in day they couldn't be shipped. Big question at this point why did it take 2.75 days to obtain my wheels? They could have been sold at any point to another customer and were the last set in stock. Thursday, woman on 800 line confirms Simi store has the wheels and will put them on the 4pm Fed Ex Truck. She tells me she will keep a close eye on things. They never got on the truck. They got on Fridays truck which means no wheels until after the weekend. I didn't get notified they were received at store until end of day Monday, so eight days later and two rescheduled install appointments. After a 2.5 hour wait at the store the guys did a great job installing my new wheels and tires. Keep in mind from the time I bought the wheels on Saturday until late on Wednesday someone else could have bought the wheels and I'd have been out of luck. read more

I'll start by saying this location was recently remodeled and looks great. This was my first time at the location as a customer and I went in for a flat repair. I was not given paperwork to sign, or even a copy before or after service - red flag. Even though they said the tire repair would be free, they are still required to properly document the transaction. When Terrell look at the tire, he immediately started with "that's a big piece of metal and may not be repairable." I pointed out to him that it was a nail that was bent over and not 1 large slit of metal - red flag #2. He asked if this is not repairable, "are you looking to purchase a tire today or do you want the spare placed on the vehicle?" Fair questions, however not exactly the best way to present it. This question felt as a setup to an anticipate tire sale. Sure enough I get a call from another person who is saying that although the puncture is in fact a nail that it punctured 2 holes side by side and they only do an internal plug so I would need to buy a new tire. Red flag #3. At that point I asked them to place the spare on the vehicle and I would pay for their time, they stated it was still no charge. I went to another tire shop down the street from them who inspected the inside of the tire and showed me 1 puncture and repaired it with no leak there after. I gladly paid their $30 fee and moved on. Pro: Nice looking location, friendly, fast, and well groom. Cons: They attempted to push a sale that was not needed. (My tires are 1 year old and this was the first puncture that was repairable as per their competitor down the way.) read more

Avoid This Location I've had nothing but headaches dealing with this America's Tire location, and I will never bring any of my vehicles here again. What started as routine tire service turned into a frustrating, months-long ordeal involving damaged rims they refuse to take responsibility for, initial refusal to honor a paid tire protection plan, and extremely poor customer service. Here's what happened in order: Early November: I brought my son's 2-year-old Kia Forte in for a flat repair and two new front tires. After the service, my son (who is away at college) immediately noticed damage to one of the rims. These were the original factory tires with no prior damage--the gouge was clearly inconsistent with curb rash. Around the same time: My other son got a flat on his GMC Sierra. The tires had been purchased 5 1/2 years earlier from the now-closed America's Tire in East Long Beach, along with their Lifetime Protection Plan. I brought it to this location for repair. An employee declared the tire unrepairable and refused to honor the protection plan, insisting I buy a new tire. At this time, when I showed photos to an employee, he blew me off and insisted "no metal ever touches the rims" during tire changes--a claim I knew was false from both watching their technicians work and seeing America's Tire's own YouTube videos using metal tools. Being very upset at this point, I declined, put the spare on, and purchased new tires from Costco instead. I then left an honest negative online review detailing both the refusal to honor the protection plan and the rim damage (with photos). Soon after the review: Guillermo called me personally. He was very apologetic and nice on the phone, said he wanted my business back, and promised to "make it right." Trusting his word, I returned the Costco tires for a refund and purchased four new tires plus a spare for the GMC from this location. He honored the replacement tire at this time. During that in-store visit for the GMC tires: I again showed Guillermo the photos of the damaged Kia rim. He acknowledged it "possibly may have happened" at their store and repeated that I should bring the Kia in when my son came home from college. Thanksgiving break: My son brought the Kia in. Since Guillermo was busy, the assistant manager helped file a claim and assured us Guillermo would call the next day to discuss resolution. No call ever came. At this time I inspected my GMC Sierra for damage and there is damage consistent with my son's Kia. Since it is an older truck, I know they will fight it and claim there is no way to prove they damaged an older rim. Today: My son finally reached Guillermo by phone. The manager claimed he knew nothing about the issue or any claim, had no record of it, and questioned why my son had waited so long to follow up--despite the delay being due to college and waiting for Guillermo's promised call. To this day, they have refused to acknowledge or compensate for the rim damage, and the "claim" conveniently disappeared. It feels like they're avoiding responsibility and possibly taking advantage of my 18-year-old son. On top of everything, a recent simple balance and rotation on my Suburban took 2.5 hours despite having an appointment. This location's inconsistent stories, broken promises, and lack of follow-through have been incredibly frustrating. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

I had a slow leak in one of my tires so I made a next day appointment. When I walked in I was greeted by Terrell. He had such a positive attitude and was welcoming and friendly. It started my morning off with a good mood! We looked at my tires and he gave me the whole script of if the nails in the side of the tire and everything. Unfortunately it was, so a few moments later I had to purchase a new tire. Overall it was a pretty quick appointment, the customer service was amazing, and it's a place my family and I have always been able to rely on. I will also add it is probably best to make an appointment if possible, it seems to get busy and have longer waits if you don't! Another great experience with America's Tire on Springdale! As I pulled up, Assistant Manager, Mark, met me outside to help me. I need to go to LA tomorrow & Mark assured me they'd have me taken care of today. We went inside & he checked but didn't have the tire I needed. He offered to ship it or send me to the neighboring store to have it fixed today. When I selected to go to the store that had my tire, Mark took the time to call them to be sure they had the tire in stock and scheduled an appointment for me. Service was fast (I had a pending appointment waiting and they wanted the sale). Attendant failed to mention the numerous extra fees (installation, certification, disposal, state tire fees, etc.), just the base price of the tires. He said I would receive my payment receipt and warranty information upon completion of the work...did not happen. The receipt was issued (no explicit warranty papers though) when I called back later, however it was in my son's name (per the title) who is currently overseas. My request for the receipt to be reissued in my name was denied. I was assured that I could bring the tires in for service/repair if necessary. If I come in next year with an issue, how likely is it that this will be honored by new/replacement employees? read more

I went in to get 2 new tires along with an alignment. The technician told me that my tire rods were seized up and they couldn't perform the alignment. I gave them five for being honest and open with me! Daniel was the technician's name that provided me the information. They told me that their mechanics could fix it and they would give me the alignment for free. At the end of the day, I have a hard time with mechanics and have my own mechanic. So what I did was called my mechanic and I'll have it fixed. Then I'll come back to have the alignment done by Americas Tire read more

On two separate visits, they tried to convince me I needed brand-new tires, despite the fact that I knew my tread was still safe. When I requested a simple tire rotation, they refused outright. Their exact words: "We highly recommend you don't do a tire rotation and get new tires instead." I asked directly, "Are you saying you won't do the rotation?" and they just kept repeating the same line. No transparency. No service. So I left and went to a different facility. They performed the rotation without issue and confirmed my tread was well within safety standards. Bottom line: this store tried to upsell me on something I didn't need, twice. terrible experience. had a nail dead center in the tread. ducked in on lunch break to get it repaired - they "found another" issue with a different tire and said i should replace both. started showing me prices, all of which i could not afford and just simply needed an easy nail repair. when i refused buying new tires, they claimed ok we'll fix the tire for free- BUT- it's likely they won't be able to repair it so at that point they will not reinstall the tire so i'd be left screwed and they'd basically force me to buy a new one. i promptly left with them repeating "sure you wanna do that? sure about that?" don't offer service that isn't real on the condition of a forced sale. sidenote: americas tired charged my wife's CC for additional warranty she never agreed to, and had to dispute with the bank. this place is full of crooks. read more

After 15+ years as a loyal customer, I have lost trust in americas tire. I dropped off my vehicle to have the tires rotated and balanced and purchased a spare tire. After about 2 hours I called the shop to check on the status. They said I should have received a call, I said no that's why I am calling. He went on to say they didn't have the right size socket and could not take the tires off. I told him I purchased the tires at this location about 5000 miles ago and they did not have an issue. He had no answer. When I got back to my vehicle, I noticed the odometer showed almost 2 miles more than when I dropped it off. I questioned why they drove my vehicle almost 2 miles. He denied and said they only drove it to the garage. That​​ was only 200 feet. I asked him to come look at my odometer and he refused. I asked for a manager and he said they were out to lunch.​ I did take pictures of my odometer as evidence. After the tires wear out on all 4 of my vehicles, I will be looking elsewhere. read more

I bought four Michelin tires ($1000) with 45K miles warranty from this America's Tires on Springdale / Edinger in Feb 2023. I just went in to have them rotated and balanced and was informed that this would be my last rotation since my tires have worn down so much. From Feb 2023 to now, June 2025, I have only driven less than 20K miles. I also checked the tread wear myself as soon as I got home, and got more than 70% remaining. Love this place. This is my to-go to for all my tires need. I used to only go to Costco until one of my tires had a flat and needed a repair; the Costco tire center referred me here and I have never gone back. Cody the supervisor is amazing...all the staff there is very friendly and helpful. They price match with pretty anyone and anybody-even Costco when the price is on sale. What I do love about it here is they can get any brand tires in a short amount of time. Other places, even Costco, when it's sold out or when they don't have a tire regularly stock, it can take forever-weeks to get your tires. One time I ordered my Michelin tires at this branch and there was a delay in shipment, rather having me wait until it arrived, they went ahead and found a nearby store that had it and went to pick it up so I don't have to wait.... I highly recommend America's Tire, particularly this branch for everything tires. read more

We usually have a stellar experience until a latino dude we believe, by the name of "Manuel" was a angry man. Harsh tones were echoing out of stressed out body. Seriously take the day off for self-care. I understand the struggle of not enough man power. I also work with the public but it is important to give yourself time out. Everyone is under pressure but screaming at a man with family is really out of order. Or shall we say "to much!" We never said a word to the angry man and we reversed and waited. Proceeded to slowly, stop were the signed said, so right? OH my goodness he came again out "again" with harsh tones. And with a matching nasty stair like if he was in a spaghetti-western-flick movie. Again, it may be, that he, was angry, at whom? I dunno, but I just could not believe his audacity. We have moved on to the Warner location. Till this day I am shaking my head! And in front of my daughter! Shame on you! I do not like dropping points especially when the struggle is for real. While I purchased a set (four) of tires at a different America's Tire location, I stopped by here since I was already in the area for a quick air check. I had bought a new tire inflator for use at home and was skeptical about the gauge readings since my tires looked flat. After a short wait, Daniel waved me down to the tire inflation machine (the signage for air checks indicated to wait about 50 feet from where he ended up waving me to). Daniel was polite and professional - after I pointed out that my tires looked flat, he mentioned that tires tend to lose pressure during the cold - and SoCal has been quite cold lately! He assured me that the look of the tires was normal, especially since his machine indicated that all but one tire (the one tire I didn't check with my own device) was in the recommended psi range. For peace of mind, he did offer to check the tires for a leak if I wanted - especially since I had bought America's Tire's awesome "tire certificate" - but all the bays were full and I had other pressing matters to tend to. Great service and education - I'm glad that my experience at this location was as good as my experience at my trusty AT location off Bristol in Costa Mesa. read more
