Ok... my favorite new place to take my car. Wish I found them years sooner. Team here is super friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I have brought in 3 different cars for a number of things (alignment, breaks, tires; new and patch jobs , new rotors, and transmission service). I went in for my 5,000 mile free tire rotation. I was told that all four of my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I was cautioned that I only had about a week's worth of brake pads. The charge was $1000. I declined and went to CAL Auto Center on a friend's recommendation. Only the rear pads needed to be replaced. Charge was $300. read more

Paul said no problem. Bring it down. They gave me a total breakdown of what was going on. What it would cost and a time frame. Blake the mechanic who performed the work was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When I picked up the truck he ran over some things I should be thinking about in the future. A light came on in my Subaru last month indicating a possible problem with my tires. I stopped at Harbor Tire and a friendly guy by the name of Dave came over to help me. He checked my tires and found the air pressure to be a bit low so he filled them up. He told me I have plenty of tread remaining so I shouldn't have another problem for quite a while but if I do I should just stop by again. No further dashboard lights or problems with my tires. Once again I had a dead battery issue the last few days. Different car this time, a 2023 Honda Civic. purchased from a local dealer. Prior visits were for two MB 350s, a Subaru Legacy and a Subaru WRX. Did some research and found many reports that Honda batteries last three years...if you're lucky. My car was purchased in February 2023 so its battery lasted three years and one month. Great, huh? Contacted the dealer and was told a new Honda battery installed would cost $350. I then remembered my prior dealings with Harbour Tire 4 and 6 years ago and stopped by to see what they could do. Not only did they quickly get on the job they had a Delco battery available which comes with a full price one year warranty and 36 months of prorated credits. I was out of there in about an hour. Harbour Tire not only was able to get me a great deal on a special snowflake battery that Mini's will only take (typical), they sent a technician to go pick it up, then install it, and send me on my way all in less than an hour. The inside waiting area aesthetic was really neat and super clean and comfortable to chill in. I had a nail in my tire and they told me it was unfixable and too close to the sidewall. Tried to sell me a new tire for $200. Drove down the road and came here. Unbelievably satisfied with their service. I have a Jeep Wrangler with 37" tires. I called a number of tire stores and none of them could handle 37" tires (their machines are too small). I called and they said no problem, and if I wanted I could come right over. I did they had their own tool to take off the wheel lock even though I have my own. So it took less than 30 minutes to remove the tire from the Jeep, repair and reinstall it. Here was the real surprise, they only charged me $30.00! Again, most shops wanted to sell me a brand new tire. Harbour Tire is very clean Tire store, the shop clean, the office and customer is clean and very nice. I bought 3 tires from Harbour Tire about 6 months ago (the 4th one was very new as I had to replace it, punctured it out of town). They were great, drove me home while they replaced the tires, picked me up when they were done. Fast forward to the other day, I get a screw stuck in the only tire I DIDN'T purchase from them. They quickly plugged my tire and when I pulled out my wallet to pay he said "no, it's free since you bought tires from us before" and I said "yes, but not the one that's going flat" and he said it's all good, you're a customer of ours. Came in to get a shock adjustment and left with negligent damage done and was disrespectfully talked to, yelled at, and laughed at by the mechanic. I have dealt with Harbour Tire for smaller problems for more than 5 years and have always been satisfied. I recently destroyed a tire on my van running over a piece of debris on an interstate. I had installed oversize tires a few years ago, but the spare was OEM size. I chose to buy 2 new tires and use one of the older tires as a full size spare. Long story short, Harbour Tire made a mistake and tossed out the oversize tire and kept the original spare. I discovered the mistake a couple days later and went to talk with them. Immediately, without any debate, they apologized and said they'd buy me a new tire and made good on the promise. That's the way to do business. They noticed the front brakes were getting low and notified me, but weren't pushing to sell me anything. Reasonably priced, close to home, they open at 7:30 and took care of me quick! My wife Christine is writing this review on my Yelp Account for Harbour Tire. I went to Harbour Tire on Tuesday because I noticed a nail in my front drivers tire. I chose Harbour over other tire places closer to my work because of their great reviews on Yelp. Boy, I'm glad I made this decision. As soon as I pulled in, I was greeted by 2 very nice guys who provided me immediate personalized service. They got the mechanic and inspected my tire and found that it was just a superficial nail tack, which I was relieved. The mechanic swiped the tire with some liquid solution. Everyone at Harbour Tire was amazing, honest, friendly and professional, the best customer service! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes which was great as I had to go back to work I would recommend this place 100%+... PS - Going back on Monday as I just found another nail tack in my front passenger tire. Hoping this one didn't protrude the tire either. Came in to purchase four tires. Got a great deal from the Rich. Left with four new Yokohama tires and 3 broken TPMS sensors. The service advisor Paul, advised me to have sensors replaced. I declined, as I arrived to the shop, I was told " There are two sensor placed on top of the other. Which is complete lie. Working on tires for two decades, I well inform on TPMS sensor. I didn't want to argue, fearing they might do more damage to my car. The other items that needed attention was: the battery, it needed to be replaced because of slight corrosion. I recently replaced my battery so a simple cleaning would have suffice. In summary, this place is a exemplary example of bad business. read more

DO NOT BRING A TESLA HERE I cannot stress this enough to fellow Tesla owners: Avoid this shop; they don't care to make the smallest effort to avoid damaging your car's lifting points. Their pricing for a tire patch on my Model Y was fair, I would have even paid more. Their approach and handling of Tesla vehicles are just lazy. Despite my specifically telling them to use lifting pucks for Teslas to prevent battery damage, the mechanic and front desk rep were arrogantly dismissive of this even saying I don't know what I'm talking about. Their lack of proper equipment and refusal to use a jack with a rubber lift point resulted in a denting the lifting point. Further damage may result in needing to replace the battery itself. When confronted with the damage they caused, they were very dismissive even claiming there was no damage at first. Three weeks later, they keep saying the owner will get back to me. . For the sake of your battery, take your Tesla to a shop that understands and respects your car. read more
