I Made An Appointment At The America's Tire In Manteca CA For Monday March 14, 2022 @ 9am To Have My Tires Checked The "Tire Pressure Low" Light Was Coming On More Than Normal That I Wanted Them To Check All Four Tires For A Problem The Service Tech Took My Info And Checked My Mileage And All Four Tires With A Gadget That Checks The Tread On Each Tire He Said My Tires Were Still In The Green And Showed Me On The Chart That I Will Need To Replace Them Soon Then He Said They Will Contact Me Via Text When My Car Was Ready. I Walked Near By For A Bite To Eat And Right When I Was Getting Ready To Sit Down They Text Me My Car Was Ready I Thought To Myself That Was Awful Fast So I Finished My Breakfast And Walked Back To Pick Up My Car The Service Tech Said There Was Nothing Wrong With My Tires If The "Tire Pressure Low" Light Comes On In The Future To Bring Back My Car With The Light On So They Can Check It I Said Hmm Ok And Went On My Way. Fast Forward Two Weeks My "Tire Pressure Low" Light Goes On I Pin Point The Slow Leak To The Drivers Rear Tire 26 PSI Should Be 35 PSI I Air Up My Tire To Get Me Through The Week This Time I Make An Appointment With Tracy America's Tire (I Trust Them More For Good Reason) For Monday March 28th @ 12:30pm They Took My info Checked My Mileage And Tread On Tires And I Explained About The Slow Leak On The Rear Drivers Side He Said They Would Check All Four Tires And Contact Me When My Car Was Ready. I Got A Text My Car Is Now In The Bay Being Serviced I See The Tech Take Each Tire Off To Check For A Possible Problem I Was Very Pleased To See That After All Was Said And Done There Was A Nail In My Rear Drivers Tire I Knew It I Just Knew There Was A Culprit I Walk Away Happy And Relieved My Problem Was Finally Solved With No Charge Because I Always Get The Tire Protection Plan Each Time I Buy Tires With Them It Saves Me Money And So Worth It. Have the worst experience today! I went there to check the cars tire pressure. The guy did a great job, and he told me to go and check inside the store for a nail fix in my car tire. I went inside and the lady said that the wait time is one hour, I asked her if she can give me an earlier time since I need to hit the freeway soon. She said 45 minutes, I waited for 45 minutes, of course my car is still in the parking lot not moved. I asked her again, she said there will be couple of minutes more since there are two cars ahead of me. I said it's ok I can wait. Then after couple of minutes she came back to tell me there are now 3 cats ahead of me!!? Seriously, what type of business is that??!!.. I waited basically more than an hour to increase the number of cars ahead of my time!!. I had million of errands to do instead of just waiting for a bull sh**!! You need to do better job treating your customers with better way and some dignity. Very upset! read more

Took mayb around 20-30 mins at most . I think joe helped me out , was very nice to me and made the experience easy . Was in and out of there . My tire blew out due to some debris on the freeway and I called America's tire to make sure they had my size before getting towed they did but unfortunately my wheel well had a crack so needed new wheels. I wasn't sure what I wanted but Ryan A. was patient with me through the whole process - he went above and beyond calling different shops since the ones I wanted were discontinued and I needed a certain size. He was able to get me the ones I liked and I am very thankful that he helped me through this whole process. Update: after coming back and the manager Nate said he'd take care of me for the 4th time in a week, he ended up telling me I had 4 defected tires? And he put 4 tires I didn't want on my truck. Absolutely hate it. Not only did I NOT get what I want, they scratched the shit out of my center caps of my brand new wheels and tried to replace them with knock off plastic ones. If I could return everything and go elsewhere, LES SCHWAB would get my business, no questions asked!! My husband booked an appointment online last week, I (his wife) brought our car in to have the tires replaced. My husband got emailed a receipt and realized they added $100+ for a warranty he didn't order online and asked me questions. When I played back my interaction with the clerk at American Tires he never once asked my permission to add anything. He simply went over what was included, he phrased it like "this includes blah blah... " and then I paid- I didn't understand what he was adding was extra which is part yes in my husband and I for not ironing out the details however I felt taken advantage of and slammed with something I never consented to. We have taken 3 of our cars here for tires..... NEVER AGAIN! Only got here if you'd like to be slammed with shit you didn't order and unsold by a shady clerk who phrases his "sale" as if it's included and then rapes you on the finances! You've lost a loyal customer and I hope this clerk doesn't do this to everyone! PS- the mechanics did a great job however were respectful. Man I wish I had more to say but they con you into buying new tires (the most expensive) then they con you into buying the certificate. But once you leave that door with your new tires and extra $100 certificate you have to wait 2 1/2 hours for them to check if you have a flat. Also I just bought the tires a couple weeks back and this has been happening since I got them. I have to put air every other day. Once you pay a hefty fee out of pocket it's like a chore for them to take care of you. read more

I always leave learning something new about my car's safety and even get a glimpse of how my tires are handing my drives. I can't help but feel safe when I drive out of this place. They offer a option for credit, if you qualify. I've taken advantage of this option when in need a full set of tires, unexpectedly. Even without credit, you can pay for coverage on each of your tires. This coverage will cover just about any major your tires might experience nails, blowouts, side wall damage, etc. Just about anything except for normal wear & tear. I love it! They took the extra step and made sure my wheels and tires did not rub. They have fixed many flats on tires from other vehicles and I didn't even get the tires from them. Stopped in today after I had a front tire blowout. They had the tires I needed in stock, for an affordable price. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were able to get me taken care of as a walk-in in less than an hour. The guy who came out to check on the terrible state of the blown-out tire and the other front tire also checked the back ones, but still followed my wishes even though he recommended replacing the back ones, too. The store itself is clean, and the chairs in the waiting area are probably the most comfortable waiting room chairs I have ever been in. This place was great! read more

I've been buying tires from America's Tires for years. I typically deal with the Fremont location and had never had a bad experience. Being new to the area I was little nervous about trying this location. Well I've had a good experience here. George Vargas, the customer service rep was great. He explained the differences between the tires I was considering and even worked with me after I had purchased one set and decided on a different set after talking to my dad. He scheduled my appointment to work around my schedule and I was on the road in an hour. The rep I dealt with this morning was also courteous and the installer took the time to talk to me about the settings on my car after the work was done. First I made an appointment at 3:15 and it took them almost an hour just to bring my car back. While waiting in the lobby there are 2 car lifts open and 3 employees just BSing at the computers... 20 minutes later they came to me and told me my tire had a nail in it and it wasn't repairable... Al and his crew do a phenomenal job. They worked with me to set a convenient appointment time, called to let me know when my tires arrived at their shop, and even offered to move my appointment up so I could get my new tires on even earlier. This really is a standup operation. When I mentioned I was looking at switching from run flats to standard tires, they took the time to walk me through the tradeoffs in ride, handling, and performance and presented me with all my options in informative, not pushy way. In the end, after listening to all concerns and answering my questions they made a great recommendation. The Michelin's they recommended look great, are super quiet, give my car a smoother ride, and cost less than the old tires. During the installation they saw one of my wheels was bent slightly, they were ready with an explanation of what effect it had and where I could get it fixed. Bonus- this is a brand new facility with top of the line everything. The crew is knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. I don't like to hand out my email address, but America's Tire sends me reminders about getting my tires rotated so they wear evenly, maximizing life. Stop by your nearest location and they'll also do a free pressure check- safer, more efficient, and it will help your tires last. I have been a customer for several years and was aways amazed at how quickly they expanded. After my two recent experiences. 1. About 11 months ago, I took my car in to repair a flat, they told me that due to the way the tire had creased that that they could not repair it and proceeded to sell me new tires. I told them that I would think about it and left. As I was driving down the street, I stopped by a tire shop and they repaired the flat after 20.00 bucks and 11 months later, car is still running great. 2. Fast forward to last last week, I asked that they rotate my tries, and after 10 minutes someone calls me to the garage to show me something, that I already knew, but due to my expenses I was not able to buy new tires. My front tire was beginning to show some wear on the edge due to the need for an alignment. I then then told him to rotate them and then was told, sorry we can't and proceeded to sell me at least two front tires. I told them just put the car down so I could leave. As a long time customer (at least six years) I strongly suggest not to fall for their sales pitch. Get a second opinion. Now it occurred to me on my last visit why they are growing so fast, they depend on upselling when they can get away with it by convincing you with a horror story, never again for me. I have referred many people but never again. This is from a once satisfied customer to one that feels that he was trying to get taken advantage of. read more

The manager at this Manteca store is what I would call an "alpha male" and wants to make sure you know he is the boss and you are nothing to him. I spent $1200 at the America's Tire in Modesto at 1201 Standiford Ave and they forgot to include the socket to take off the new wheels....by the way....all the employees at the Standiford Modesto location are AWESOME! Great teamwork at that Modesto store.....Anyway......at this Manteca tire store I got the crap service.....The manger...who was acting as the contact point sitting on his butt outside and not moving one inch.....after I told him what happened he said "there are two people ahead of you".....after those people are done then I'll have "one of my guy's" come out and look at your wheels.....then if we have the part I will give you one.......So I drove back to Modesto....it took them less than two minutes to give me the socket and they were very nice about it......So if you want to use an America's Tire store I would say DONT go to the one in Manteca....go to the one on Standiford in Modesto....you will be much happier in the end if any sort of customer service matters to you....if you don't care how you are treated then go ahead and try the Manteca store. read more
