Great service! Got a nail in my tire and drove it straight to America's Tire store. For some reason the key to unlocking my tire was missing, but they said that they could still unlock my tire for me and patch it up for me! The service was free because they said, and I quote, "This is free because we just want you to be safe." I was just so shocked! And I only waited 30 min. for my car and was out the door. Had to wait 20 minutes in their hot parking lot to even get a 'hi'. No one was in front of me, theyre just disorganized during these corona times. I used to come here alot, they have good rubber, but you always pay close to full price and they are always trying to sell you more tires when ur tires r fine. They do this by being overly aggressive on their opinion of how much tread u have and also refuse to patch tires that come even remotely close to sidewalls, that other places patch just fine. Dont go without an appt or expect brutal waits, also dont go expecting a deAl this place overcharges routinely. Im done. The actual workers are generally nice tho, so they get 2 stars instead of 1. I was pretty impressed with this place. It was absolutely PACKED on a Tuesday evening and I happened to be on call for work and was anxious to get my tire fixed. Wow, what lazy liars. Took my car in knowing I saw two nails/screws in it, hoping for a patch. Took it in with maybe 5 workers present (during covid-19 lockdown, lucky guys to have work to do) and I am the only car in the lot. Guy gets my info, tells me all 4 tires need to be replaced, but I already know how these places work, especially with a woman. So I pass seeing as I am not working and as for a patch if possible as I am taking care of a cancer patient parent. He comes back and says "I heard it, I didn't even have the tech check because I can hear air leaking" cool, can you put my spare on? He had the other guy do it. Thanks. So I take my car to my local guy who I trust, tell him NOTHING and he proceeds to SHOW me how only one nail barely punctured. He patched me up for free and I left him a nice tip. I've been buying my tires here now for years. I used to go to Costco, but got tired of constantly needing to wait for hours. This America's Tire has knowledgeable and courteous staff. So far I've always gotten a good price on tires and plan on continuing to order/buy my tires from here. Walked into this tire shop as soon as they opened at 8am on a Wednesday morning. I was immediately greeted warmly by Anthony. I was overwhelmed due to my tire popping late last night on the freeway and was obviously in need of a new tire. Anthony went over all my options and even inspected the rest of my tires. He was very friendly and gave me a different range of options due to my budget and what my car needed. I was in and out of the shop with a new tire within 30 minutes. I had also explained to Anthony my plan was to head to get my brakes done right after I had left the tire shop. Not only did he do a great job on assisting my tire needs, he also referred me to an auto shop right down the street from his location. I write this review as I wait for my brakes to get done. Even during these Covid-19 times they had outside seating, a sanitizing station and each employee wore a mask. They didn't even ever enter my car. Everyone went out of their way to do everything I requested when installing my new wheels and tires. I believe in 'do it right or don't do it at all' --& have a hard time trusting people with my cars. I come here every time I need something done with my tires on all my cars I have and had. The salespersons are always excellent. Today I went in to get a leaky tire fixed. Ordered 4 Michelin tires online, 4 days later received a call from the Montclair store telling me that those tires on the website are a discontinued model and none of the other Michelin tires that the company stocks would come close in price. Minus 2 stars Showed up for my installation of the House brand Continentals (The model is exclusive to Discount/America's tire so research and reviews are limited), likely has the highest profit margins, thus the apparent bait & switch described above. When the car was delivered there was this weird white stuff on the tires, I asked what it was and was told, "it's just lube, it'll wash off in the rain", well guess what? I waited about 2 weeks to wash the car & after scrubbing & scrubbing, no dice, cannot remove all of that lube. Thanks guys! Minus 1 Star 3 weeks after the install & on the 1st real drive out of town my TPMS light goes off indicating a malfunction. Setup an appointment and am told 1 TPMS sensor is low battery and another is dead. Nice that I just paid for 4 TPMS "packs" however nobody checked the battery levels to recommend to me that I would need a replacement soon. Minus 1 Star read more

Bought new Michelin tires for my Mercedes at this place and it is time for tire rotation. Their report looks fantastic on tire pressure, torque, etc., till the tire warning light came on after 10 miles of driving. My tires require 35psi front and 42psi rear. My tire gauge showed 35psi on driver front and rear and 42psi on passenger front and rear. Does America's tire want me to drive home side way (skid) to maintain your safety records? They used to be good, but not now in 2023. read more

Up until my most recent visit to America's Tire in Montclair, CA, I thought, over the years, that the staff were the nicest folk I'd ever met. In the pasat, they were always cordial and explained details of what tires I needed and, afterward, a breakdown of what they had done. But, THIS TIME.... this time was painfully different. On 4/2/21 I went in to have all my tires changed, and I saw the same staff I'd always seen as I waited for my car. I worked on my I-Pad while sitting in the store waiting and would glance up every now and then to see if my car had moved. I was given an estimated completion time of 9:45. I became engrossed in my work on my I-Pad, so when I looked up and realized that it was 5 minutes unjtil 10, I inquired about when my car might be ready. The shock occured when I saw a staff person get into my car at 9:58 and then 10 minutes later come out to the reception area and announce that my car was ready. In fact, I said to him, "You know what I'm worried about? You finished changing 4 tires in 10 minutes. That scares me." The worker responded, "I had help," and he then handed me my keys. (He, too, had been so pleasant inthe past, and always explained the work that had been done on the car, but not this time.) I got into the car and was about to drive off when I realized that I didn't have a receipt. I walked back in and requested a receipt. Another worker handed me a receipt, and I asked about the nore descriptive, 8 1/2 x 11-sized sheet that is generally given; he responded that those aren't given anymore. He then said, "What more do you want?" It was his tone when I asked, it was like, "what MORE do you want?!!" I'd worked with that same person before when I've been there in the past and he was so very nice,then,, but this time, his "shortness" and his tone greatly disurbed me. The final let-down was when I got back in my car and drove off. After a block or so, I realized that the steering wheel was filthy. I pulled over, got out of my car and used hand wipes that I keep in the car to clean, not only the grimy steering wheel, but all the car apparatus that the worker(s) had touched -- the door, shiifting gear, rear view mirror... I meam to tell you that even the seat was grimy. I'll never go back there again. read more
