I've been coming to this shop for years and always had great experiences, especially when the younger employee was there. He and the owner were always friendly, helpful, and never made me feel pressured. That's why what happened during my most recent visit was so disappointing. I stopped by to have air put in my tires--nothing more. While checking them, the employee noticed a nail and told me he could patch it for $45 plus a tip. That immediately seemed excessive, as tire repairs are typically much less expensive. I politely declined and said I'd discuss it with my husband before making a decision. As I was leaving, he stopped me and told me I needed to give him a tip because he had put air in my tires. I was completely caught off guard. In all the years I've been coming here, I've never been charged for air, let alone asked for a tip afterward. I could understand paying for an actual repair or service, but putting air in tires is something many shops do as a courtesy. To avoid an argument, I gave him $5, but then he told me it wasn't enough and that he deserved more because of the labor involved. At that point, I told him to call his boss because the entire situation felt inappropriate and unprofessional. It's a shame because this used to be a business I trusted and recommended. If this is now how customers are treated, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I only hope that $5 was worth losing a loyal customer. read more

This was our spot to get our tires replaced, patched all the things. The owner was friendly as well with my husband. We recently came to get my tire patched due to a nail. First off the employee didn't greet didn't offer any type of friendliness. He patched the tire and charged 40 dollars. When my husband said what why so much the employee said just don't come here anymore every time you come you complain about something. That's super unprofessional. Please don't come here you're better off going to jiffy lube for your tires. read more

Went in for a simple flat repair. Easy right? Not for california tires #2. The man living in the back of the business that repaired the flat decided it was necessary to impact the lug nuts with extreme prejudice. Now I have to take half a day off work because the lugs ate seized and will likely cost me hundreds of dollars to replace at a REPUTABLE shop. Make sure to pull into the back of the place that's where you'll find the service area. Ricky was super friendly and got back to me quick about if he had my tires in stock. He was able to get me in the same day within the hour! I was really amazed with the service he was providing especially since it was all in the same day. Great price for two used tires for my 2017 Honda accord was 60 a tire! Totally doable for this mama especially since this was not expected or I would have went for his price for the new ones. I went to get a tire replaced after a side wall rupture. I assumed I would receive a tire less than 10 years old. When I got home, however, I discovered the tire was 14 years old! When I went back to the shop, they told me all of their used tires were that old and that they couldn't do anything to make this right. I will not be returning and encourage potential customers to check the tire age before paying. read more

These people are scams. I went here for a tire plug and bro looked me dead in my face and said $40... for a tire plug.

They will SCAM you. I called and asked for a price for a used tire. I was told $35 for tire and install. I arrived and got the tire replaced by the technician, NOT the same guy from the phone call. When I asked how much I needed to pay, the technician said $75. I told him I was quoted $35 over the phone. He then showed me a text from the guy on the phone that told him to charge me $75 and that I was arriving soon. We called the guy and he changed his story. He said "no I told you $75. We would not charge that low for a tire and install." I said no you told me $35 so he said he would go down to $70. I'm more mad at the lie. It seems like they low ball you to get you to come and then change the amount and make you feel crazy for thinking it was lower. So annoying. BE WARNED read more

Was quoted $35 to mount and balance each tire, additional $5 for tire disposal fee. No issues there or with the install. But when it came time to pay they wanted cash or would charge me sales tax on nontaxable LABOR. Sorry that's a no no in California and I will be reporting to the appropriate agencies of your illegal practices. There are better and more legal ways to incentive paying in cash. read more

I had another set of tires/rims that I wanted to swap out for the summer. The bum wanted to charge me $50 for Literally taking off the 4 tires on the vehicle and putting on the other set I brought with me. Did not require dismounting of the rims from the tires. When I asked why so much for a 15 minute task, the bum says "nothing is free." Went down the street to another shop and paid $25 for them to swap out the set of tires. Took 10 mins. I went in to get my tire pressure sensors replaced on my car. Like many folks, especially women, I have PTSD from going to mechanics and getting ripped off. But Ricky, the owner, was great. He checked my sensors and showed me all the ones that went bad. I had to get 4 of the 5 replaced and he gave me a good price. He's very professional, patient and even-tempered. I have been to this location many times for tire repairs because of nails/screws in my tires. Each time I've been here the price was $25 for the repair. $25 seems a bit high, but when you're in a pinch you pay for the convenience. This morning I went for a repair and the employee quoted me $40. I had to ask again, and the quote was $40 for a nail in my tire repair. I went elsewhere and got it fixed for a fair price. This was a shame since this was my go to spot for tire repairs. Looks like I won't be returning to this location. read more
