I purchased my tires from America's Tires 4-5 yrs ago, and I purchased the Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement (very inexpensive). I recently took my car in to see if I needed to replace my tires. They provided very quick service, they did not try to pressure me into new tires or services I didn't need and because of the certificate, they did it all for free. I'm definitely coming back again and the Certificate for Repair, Refund or Replacement is actually worth the extra money! read more

Had an appt for my tires to be checked up and repair. Was alittle late but it wasn't a problem I was next in line and the service writer was very personable and helpful and we talked about his interest. When it was time for my car to be serviced it was like how pro cars are attended on the track. Someone on every side of the car using the air rackets to take off the lug nuts move the tires around checking them and attaching the tire to the next wheel. Each mechanic did their job and did it well and with such graciousness to us women who by the way was mainly all of the customers there. Even tho I didn't get my tires there I definitely will come to this store because they take care of their customers with such gratitude. I had a great experience today at the riverside location next to the plaza. I needed two tires I made an appointment online for 8am and was able to select tires I wanted. I got a call the night before confirming my appointment and to let me know that they had the tires in stock. When I arrived I was treated very kindly and professionally. He listen my concerns about my tires and did try to push me into getting all four tires being that I had a good tread left on the back wheels. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CUSTOM WHEELS HERE! I brought my tires and wheels to the store, off the car, for mounting and balance. Brand new high gloss black wheels still in the box. The shop employees are all young and just having a good time, not focusing on doing a good job. The first tire installer was throwing the tire tread surface on top of the shiney new wheels to lube the tires bead for instrall. This scuffed the wheels shiney finish. When I got the wheels back there was white lube slopped everywhere and some scratches. Stupid me went back a few days later to have one of the tires removed from the wheel. When I got the wheel back it had a 2" long gouge in it. Not a scratch, a gouge!! I didn't even bother talking to the manager since they aren't going to do anything like replace the wheel. I was changing to different wheels since these didn't fit my car so I just wanted out of there. The employees are all young and sloppy, which I guess is fine if you don't care about the look of your wheels. I now use a custom wheel specialty shop. read more

Last night I made an appointment for this morning. Unfortunately my toddler was a handful so I was running late. Although they were super busy and had a long line, they still honored to serve me right away because of my scheduled appointment 30 min ago. They inspected my car, confirmed that the tread on all tires were too low, the tires I needed were in stock so we went ahead and swapped all four tires. I paid for the tire online. Got to the shop and they asked which tire should they replace. Though it makes sense to me that they check my history or look at the tires, that apparently was not the case. After much back and forth, Tony decided which tire to replace based on what they saw. After that was done, I eventually saw my car parked but no one told me my car was ready and when I asked they didn't know where the key was. To top it all off, they didn't adjust the air pressure in the tires and I had to go back after I left! Ward was nice. read more

I needed new tires for my truck and being the Google tire guy I am I went in there with the thought of purchasing a specific tire that seemed to have the right specs and what not. After working with Edgar and the team I ended up with better tires at nearly the same price! Edgar went above and beyond for me, he knew that I was in a time crunch so he worked on my vehicle too. My husband has been here before and said he had great experiences each time. He wanted to walk in but I asked him to call and they suggested an appointment because they're busy. Fair, it was a holiday weekend. An employee sold my husband 4 brand new tires and also had him pre-pay for labor too. After it was paid for, the employee said that they actually didn't have the tires in stock but the Chino Hills location did and would be able to send the four tires over soon. He said he would call when they got in but it should be the next day. This was on Friday, June 30th. Every time they said they would call, they failed to inform us of any updates. We called several times and they continued blaming the Chino store for not answering their inquiries. On July 6th, my husband called and they said they got one tire in and were waiting for three more but they'll come in tomorrow and he'll give us a call. We still didn't get a call until we decided to call after 2pm on July 8th. So they finally had the tires in! But we had called too late in the day (but we were supposed to get a call from them a day earlier...) apparently and there weren't anymore appointments available. When we asked if we could just come in without an appointment, it was implied that they were busy and changing all four tires may not get done today. My husband went anyway and saw that they were not busy at all. While checking in, he was told that the person who originally ordered our tires didn't put them on hold and they accidentally sold one of the four tires. I was absolutely livid. They told us on the phone that all four tires were there not even 30 minutes prior. Someone double checked and then told us that someone had hidden the tires so they actually had all four tires. I'm not sure why this place continues to misplace inventory and make customers panic... They were able to replace all four of my tires really quickly and my husband was out of there within the hour. I gave one star for the prices-- we also got a AAA discount-- and an additional star for the fast and good job they did with replacing all four tires. Everything leading up to replacing the tires though? The entire experience at this location was stressful. Between the inventory issues, the peek-a-boo tires being in stock and then out of stock, selling us tires they didn't have in stock, the lack of good customer service (they called once to update us when they said they'd call multiple times), being told they were busy when they were not, and we didn't get any paperwork after the process was completed (only an emailed invoice from when we paid on June 30th)... I won't be coming back here. read more

This is a negative 1-star review. I couldn't post without selecting 1-star. Worst place ever in the world to get a simple tire patch. These assholes had me wait over three hours until the shop was almost closed, just to let me know that they couldn't fix my patch. Then they tried to wheel and deal me into buying a new tire costing over $300 at the last second leaving me with limited to no options to take it elsewhere before places closed. Their delay of the work when I arrived left me with either purchasing a new tire, stranded and stuck there or to call a tow. This is some low ball salesmanship. They providing me with the most outstanding customer service for a free flat repair service; WOW IAM just speechless and can't imagine going anywhere else for any future repairs due to this attention to detail and free of charge service they provided. I was shocked as it was no strings attached and no fine print.. just took in my almost new Honda pilot 2025 as one of the tires got a screw in the center and was leaking air and just like magic they fixed it free of charge. Love Americas Tire can't stand the staff at Merrill. Do yourself a favor and just go to Tyler location. Car calls for 34 psi, tire is max 40 psi. They set air at 39 psi, tire blew out from sidewall and too much psi, go to get it fixed and request to have all tires set at 34 psi, they still had rear tires at 39 psi then John over the phone argued with me over inflating the tires had no affect on the blow out and refused to acknowledge the correlation then never checked other tires psi as he said he would for the repair. I took my car here after getting my back tires installed at the fontana location only because they had the front tires for my car available They installed them and then I realized the scratched both of my front rims with the machine they use and they claimed that there machine wouldn't do that To the rims literally the rims are scratched & they claimed that We scratched our rims ourselves with a curb I bet if they were to look at there cameras they would find out who messed these up & its funny because the rear rims We installed at the fontana location actually have curb rash and the inner side of the rim is fine without a scratch You can clearly tell the installer scratched the paint off read more

3 strikes and your out! First off I've been shopping at Americas Tire (Magnolia/Tyler) for years. With my 5 vehicles and boat trailer I've spent over $20K over the years. That ended today when I went to get what I believed to be a quick and simple repair. First off they were busy, and had quite a few customers waiting. When I checked in I was able to hear the conversations of other customers also waiting for service. Two customers that arrived after me were checking in after me and getting tire replacements. I only needed a sensor replaced which would have taken maybe 15 minutes. It seemed they were taking customers who had major repairs (Complete set of tires) ahead of my quick and less expensive repair. When I questioned the Service Tech why the other customers were being service before my vehicle he claimed they had appointments. That was B.S. as I had talked with the customers and they had a repair estimate time that was longer than mine. Well I decided to get my money back, and drove to Les Schwab where I received great service at a great price, and had the repair completed in minutes not hours as what it would have taken at Americas Tire. I did mention on the first line 3 strikes. Strike 1: A set of tires I purchase for my boat trailer. After less than 500 miles the tires were splitting, and unsafe. When I went back to Americas Tire for my warranty they instructed me that the tire manufacture had issues with a batch of tires, and they no longer can get me replacements. Strike 2: My daughter had an issue with 2 tires from a freeway road hazard. Vehicle was towed to Americas Tire where 4 tires were replaced, but not the run flat tires that were originally on the vehicle. Strike 3: Was the issue I mentioned today. I will never give Americas Tire my business again. They lost a loyal customer, who will never believe there "Bull Shit" stories and excuses again. Les Schwab not only gave me a better warranty, but also better prices. I did receive a message from Americas Tire which is an indication that they do care. Like I stated in the message I have purchased products for many years, and have received most of the time good service. It's time for a change and Les Schwab offers the same services/prices at comparable prices. Americas Tire at Magnolia/Tyler is a busy location. I feel my time is valuable and Les Schwab was able to complete my repairs before the estimated time I was issued by Americas Tire. Just another quick mention. The service advisor that assessed my vehicle informed me that 2 tires were in need of replacement due to tread depth. By some miracle on the road to Les Schwab my tire depth on those tires improved to satisfactory....It does make me wonder if the Service Advisor gets extra compensation for additional charges. read more

This is the last time we'll use them. We've been going there for years, but have noticed a decided downturn in quality and service more recently. The first red flag was when I called, arranged for the tires which had to be ordered in (no big deal), and was told I'd receive a call back as soon as they arrived (a day or two, I was told). They never called back. After two weeks, I called, and was told they had tried to call me. No missed calls on my phone from them, no messages left, but if they said they called, who am I to call them a liar. While speaking with the service agent, I specifically said I had an open window but didn't want to spend and hour or two waiting with my appointment. He assured me that with any appointment, my wait would be no more than 30 minutes. When I walked in, a few minutes ahead of my appointment, of course the place was packed. I assumed the wait would be longer, which would have been fine, but I was told again that I was promised 30 minutes with the appointment. I noticed on the call sheet that I was the only appointment, so assumed that the service agent knew what he was talking about. I paid, and left, returning 45 minutes later. As I walked in the door, they were just then driving my vehicle into the service bay. I was then told the morning had been "crazy" but noticed that all the walk-ins that had been there were already gone. Maybe if I had sat around and glared more? That really shouldn't necessary. I just need to be told how long my wait will be. Of course, it was going to be another 30 minutes at least. Nearly 45 minutes later, at almost an hour and half total, my vehicle was finally ready. I was never thrilled with their prices, their discounts feel half-hearted, they always upsell you on services that you probably don't need or won't use, and you can usually find the same tires for less at a local mom and pop shop. IN addition, there doesn't seem to be much value in setting up and appointment, being lied to about how much time it will take, and being lied to again after they've already failed to meet their original quote and taking all the walk-ins before a scheduled appointment. We will not be returning to this shop. read more

My low tire pressure light came on Took my car into America's Tire on Magnolia in Riverside. There were a lot of people there but right away someone help me they have a station to check tire pressure and even though I didn't but my tires there they filled them to the correct air pressure for free and informed me that my tread was at the lowest level and should be changed soon to ensure I'm able to break without problems. I asked for a quote and there price was the best considering they have coverage you can add on for flats and prorate replacement they also do free tire rotation. I made a appointment to replace my tires and I was in and out in less than an hour. Every one that I came in contact with from the sales man to the tire pressure checker was courteous , informative and didn't talk down to me as a female I really appreciated that .
