I'm disappointed to say that my experience at America's Tires in Riverside was a letdown. I've been a long standing customer there and was disappointed during my most recent visit which prompted me to finally leave a review. This last visit and a series of issues really left a sour taste in my mouth. Firstly, I cannot tolerate it when I go to someone for advice and they try to BS me. For example, I bought tires at this location roughly 1 year ago that are rated at 60k miles and currently have roughly 10k miles on them presently. While I was checking in, I asked Tony if he measures the tire tread to determine whether they need to be rotated and explained that I am trying to maximize the life of the tire rather than waste time and money needlessly. Tony, initially said that he normally goes by mileage when determining whether a rotation is necessary, I asked him, ''don't you measure the tread with your device to ensure I'm not rotating the tires prematurely and doesn't it also depend on how you drive the vehicle as well?' He then went out and measured the tires, told me that he'd recommended I put the better tires on the rear which is contrary to what the rep told me during a previous visit. Also, he said I'll need to replace the tires after the next rotation and, after asking about the 60k mile tread (which cost me significantly more money) he said that's why you have to rotate them. huh? So, I'm still not sure what the correct answer is but I followed their advice during my last visit. He said the wait would be about an hour and I said I'll return later which, according to him, means I'd lose my place in line. huh? Overall, prices are increasing everywhere but is seems the quality of service is declining and America's Tires are no exception, unfortunately. I had been going there for years and now I will find another location. Until then, I would caution others to do their research and explore other options before committing to America's Tires. read more

I purchased the tire protection plan, life time rotation, balance, tire fix or replace b.s. etc etc.... With only 1k on new tires had a slow leak on one tire. Made appointment, took it in and they said it was because of a bad wheel. They claimed it had corrosion inside the bead of the rim. The vehicle was only 2 years old ,with stock alloy wheels. They didn't let me see it, but nonetheless they aired it back up and said sorry, we can't help you, you need a new wheel. I called Toyota where I purchased the vehicle from (brand new) I ask if they could inspect the wheel. They took the tire off and said there is nothing wrong with wheel! I ask to see for myself and they said no problem. They did point out that there was a small nail/staple on the inside portion of the side wall. They replaced the tire and sent me happily on my way. I went in to get my tires air checked because it had been going low very often. They informed me I needed a new one because the tread was too low to repair. Being a single mother I don't have money to just buy one on the spot. They offered a loaner to keep me safe but unfortunately they didn't have one so they offered to sell me one for $15 just to help me out and keep my daughter and I safe. Thank you.!!!!!! We had set up an appointment and put a deposit down for tires and told the company we would be coming down. They would not take our card without id however it's a company card. Micheal never informed us we needed id for the card and was disrespectful. Told me bottom line they can't take the card over the phone. Adrian the assisting manager was giving attitude and said he would deal with Michael but never even spoke to him. Micheal proceeded to laugh in our face showing no respect to customers or his manager. On top of the issue they moved my promise time up making me wait even longer even though we have an appointment. Walked outside to a flat out of nowhere. Had to have roadside come out and put on a spare so I could drive to the nearest tire shop. The company my roadside service dispatched out offered to patch my tire for $70. Comical right?! Brought my car here for a patch or new tire and was greeted by Steven. Very personable and professional. He showed me exactly where the object was in my tire and gave me an estimate of when it would be ready. To my surprise it was no charge. I have been coming to the establishment since 2013. It about 3.5 miles from my home which is very convenient. What I like in my past visits was the courteous and welcoming by their staff and the past manager seem to remember me - I had to buy a replacement tire immediately after purchasing a used tire. Then bought a set of new tires 9 months later. I was Encouraged to come by monthly to have my tire pressure tested and air refills. This month an extremely courteous young man, Dom did my tires check-up. I've always been a loyal customer of this store and have purchased several sets of tires from them. However, I walked in this morning to pre-order a set of new tires. I stood in front of a computer and waited, and waited, and WAITED. It was like I was invisible. Nobody asked what I needed or said that they'd "be right with me." There were other employees helping people and they simply ignored me. Finally, I asked a red-shirted employee for help, and he asked if I was on the "Wait List." Nobody told me that I needed to be on that list, and I had no idea what to do. I asked him how long the wait was, and he said: "oh, about an hour-and-a-half" and didn't ask what I needed. The waiting room was full of people all seemingly having their vehicles worked on and sitting contentedly and on their cell phones or reading magazines. Yes, the store was busy but I felt that my business wasn't important enough to merit a simple acknowledgement. I turned around and walked out. They lost my business forever. BEWARE ... I went there for a flat tire. I wanted it repaired if possible. I took my purse with me but left my other bag in the trunk. I didn't think they had any reason to enter my trunk. I was prepared for a trip and had pulled cash out of the bank. It was in my bag in the trunk. The the service rep came out to me and explained the tire couldn't be repaired and offered to put my spare tire on. I happily agreed because a new tire wasn't an expense I was prepared for, right before my trip. I get home and find that someone at the tire place had stolen $1300 out of my bag. Went in today expecting to buy a set of tires due to a fast air leak in one of my tires, and patiently wait as I did not make a prior appointment for this. I was greeted by one of the mechanics, and helped by Adrian. Adrian was kind enough to explain to me that my tires still had a bit of life in them, and that if they could safely repair my tire, they would do so and have me back on the road in no time without having to buy replacement tires. Within 15 minutes or less, the team had showed me the problem - a nail in the tire - removed and repaired the issue, and even shined the tires and had me back in my car with a smile on my face. Such a great team effort and their efficiency shows extremely well.
