My experience with America's Tire was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had. I brought my vehicle in for a tire appointment after a recent safety inspection that found no issues with my lug nuts or wheel studs, only that I needed new tires due to dry rot. During the appointment, I was told the technicians could not remove the front lug nuts and that I would need to take the vehicle elsewhere. After leaving the store, I immediately noticed a wobble that had not been present before the appointment. When I got home, I discovered a lug nut was missing. I contacted the store and was put in touch with Assistant Manager Gregory. I was told they would "only pay for one lug nut." Which is all that I noticed was missing at the time. The following day, another repair shop inspected the vehicle and found extensive damage that ultimately resulted in over $1,100 in repair costs. What made the situation even worse was the claims process. It took multiple attempts just to get a claim started and obtain a claim number. Communication was poor, updates were difficult to get, and I often felt like I was the one doing all the follow-up. Despite providing documentation, repair invoices, and a detailed timeline, the process dragged on for more than two months. After months of waiting, countless follow-up attempts, and being led to believe the matter would be addressed, my claim was denied and I was offered only $100 as a customer service gesture. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. Had there been transparency, timely communication, and accountability, I likely would have walked away with a very different opinion. Instead, I was left with a repair bill exceeding $1,100, months of frustration, and a claims process that felt unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. I usually get my tires from Costco but it's always packed there. The pricing here is comparable so I decided to buy tires here instead since the wait isn't as bad. The service is 5/5. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable. The waiting area has about 10 comfy chairs. It might be hard to find a seat if it's packed. I found a nail in my tire on Friday- I called America's Tire on Arden and they said they would repair it for free so I rushed over. The salesman started to scan the tread on all of my tires and started to check things I may need. I got the sense he was looking to find something to sell me on. I had left my kids at home and hoped to have the nail removal/repair done quickly to put my mind at ease. They took the tire off and brought it over to further discuss options of replacing the tire and buying new ones. I asked if they could just remove the nail and repair the tire and I would return at a later time to consider changing out my tires. The salesman told me 'no problem, we'll get this taken care of but will you come back soon to have the tires replaced? I said I would chat with my spouse and we'd plan for it in the summer but I just needed to have the nail removed and tire repaired'. I waited there for about an hour total and they came and told me my car was ready. Today is Sunday and my tire pressure light came on early in the morning- I brought my windows down to hear the sound of the nail hitting the ground with each wheel rotation. I got out to see the nail was never taken out of the tire. I have a photo of the day I took it in and today- same nail, same position, same tire- definitely was not touched. I also have my receipt for my visit saying the repair was completed. They are closed today. I took my car somewhere else and had them take care of it. Not okay at all- I'm so upset! read more

Staff claimed to rotate and balance my tires but hell no they didn't lol. I was standing there for the majority of the time right next to my car shortly after they pulled it into the garage from the parking space and did not see them remove any wheels. The only service I watched them perform was applying tire shine and somebody put air into a couple tires. From the time they pulled it in to when he told me it was ready was easily less than 10 minutes. Keep in mind I was there for 2-3 hours waitin. I inquired with the employee who told me the car was ready about how quickly they seemed to turn it over. He replied that they were moving faster because they were 20 cars behind. Not wanting to argue with people that weren't going to provide the service in the first place I went home and consulted my photos of my front left rim that is marked. The 2 photos show the same tire and rim in the same place 6 months apart. They did not rotate my tires after my 3 hour wait. My tires are still unrotated. You don't believe me? Check the photos. I'm sorry to have to do this to them but dude lied so comfortably to my face that I'm sure they cheat people all time and that shit makes people not trust autoworkers everywhere. They took really good care of me, my infant was in the car with me and we waited no longer than 45 min. I initially went in to get air for my tires then decided to pop in to get pricing on a new set and possibly a rotation. I was literally standing in the waiting area/lobby for a good 45 mins with zero greeting or assistance. I was going to leave after 10 mins but decided to wait it out and see how long they would go with looking dead at me and not acknowledging my presence. Finally i said something and the employee gave me a horrible attitude. I went ahead and kept my composure and left. After sharing my experience with friends, a couple of them told me they also had bad experiences with this location as far as tire service, high incorrect quotes, etc. This location should be put under investigation or at least retrained by corporate. read more

I went to the location on Arden- I had done previous business with this and other locations. I went in to get a $60 dollar tire pressure sensor ( one). When I went in my vehicle was functioning properly ( no idiot lights illuminated, nothing. When they brought my vehicle back to me and tried to hand me my fob like nothing was wrong!? However the front dome light was " blinking" and the rear dome light wouldn't go off when it should have!? Additionally the " CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" was lit up! I was like wtf!? you don't see this shit!? I asked for the manager and pointed it out to him. He told me some useless bullshit and offered to send me around back for another business to address it. I declined any more bullshit and had to drive with the check engine light on, the rear interior dome light on, and the front dome light on and blinking! This was total bullshit and maybe racist. My wife got a flat tire at her work, we had the car towed to get a new tire. We were told she would have replace two tires even though the car is less then a year old. Anyway, they installed the wrong tires for her car. Then they replaced with tires that fit the car, She left and noticed bad pressure in one tire had to turn around in the rain and commuter traffic, but one tire had a bad valve. They fixed, and only had a we're sorry. We've been Americas Tire clients for over 15 years and have had a bad experience, the Manteca and Trinity Parkway in Stockton have been excellent. Customer service rep guys are attentive caring on always to provide care when tire pressures are low. Screenings of tracking records are send always for self. I take all our cars to America's Tire, first the one in Auburn and now the one in Sacramento off Arden. They always treat us well, anytime we've had issues (damage, nails, etc.) they take care of us. Recently I took a cargo trailer there and TJ was able to find me a set of matching tires (that have been discontinued) in Utah, had them at the shop in two days and got me all set up for a price 1/3rd the cost of another shop. The staff did explain the individual charges beforehand, so there was no surprise. But after the visit, I contacted several other well-rated local shops and found that they all offer the exact same full service for $30 or less.
