Shiester! I just needed two tires taken off the rims. I should have asked before I had them take it off because they wanted to charge me $60 to take two tires off two rims. The guy settled for $40. What a total load of BS. If you get any service done of anything make sure you get a price in advance and call around because I could have gotten these tires taken off at the Goodyear shop for $10 a tire. I thought I would go to my local shop because they're just around the corner but I'll never do that again. When I called the guy on his BS price, he just gave me a load of BS. Great spot to have work done on your tires. I had some issues with a tire getting low, they sealed it for $20. Unfortunately it was low again the next day and they offered to replace all the tires for a fair price of $475. They are quick and efficient. Replacing my tires only took about an hour or less to do. I needed to get tires for a car for my daughter. When I stopped in, I was quoted a set of Cooper tires for $350 -out the door. I agreed as this seemed fair, and they got to work on the car. As the counter person talked with me he wrote up the invoice - with no information. I went into the shop and found them putting on an off brand Advanta tire. I told the shop people that they were supposed to be installing Cooper tires. The counter person interjected and said. "Those are made by Cooper, they are the hybrid tire for my car." The installation was done quickly and I had already paid during our chat. As soon as I left I pulled over and researched the tire. Total Lie's. Its not made by Cooper and its not a hybrid tire. Turns out its a cheep $75 tire - and is worth close to what they charged- $350 out the door. So, I got what I paid for but HATE that they were unwilling to be honest, and sell me the proper tires. Maybe they didn't stock the proper tires and just wanted to make a sale but not they kind of business I would ever shop at again. on a positive note - they go the job done very quickly. Maybe that should have been a warning sign that they were available. If you go hear get everything in writing and ask to see the product. shouldn't have to but I would with this tire shop. I came right at their opening time , at first one of the employees was standing there just looking at me , he never asked did I need help and he continued sweeping as if I had another reason to be at a tire place. Anywho , I walked over because maybe I needed to be closer for him to stare at me . JJ spotted me , he immediately came over to help. I blew my tire and my car was hobbling along on a doughnut. JJ got everything situated and made sure everything was tight and right , by double checking twice . He even checked my other tire's pressure and let me know I needed to replace them sooner I would no doubt be back . He assisted me with putting my doughnut back in my trunk and got me in and out . I appreciated the good customer service and him just being a gentleman by not watching me attempt to lug heavy stuff. Give this man a promotion or a raise !! he will be the reason this business maintains status in the community for maintaining morale and good customer service. This review is way overdue. I found this place in 2018 when I needed new tires - little did I know they do sooo much more than tires! Shawn, the owner, is so friendly and goes above and beyond for his customers. I don't know much about cars, so he's the only mechanic I trust with my car because he does honest work for the best price - he doesn't do the notorious "overcharging women because they know nothing about cars." So when he says I need something fixed or replaced, I know that it's the truth because often times he'll tell me that it's not something that needs to be urgently fixed. Shawn loves his customers and knows me by my name and car! He's quick and efficient, and has always had my car in and out day of, or day after. Whenever I bring my car in, he also goes above and beyond by rotating my tires, topping off my oil, etc. He also checked out a car that my boyfriend was thinking about buying, which was very helpful and quick. My car was just recently in the shop, and it runs better than when I first got her - she runs like a brand new car! I never thought I would rave so much over a mechanic, but I truly enjoy seeing Shawn and the work he does. Excellent small business that I am happy to support! read more

I thought I had had a good experience buying new tires at A&A in August 2017 until I got a flat and ended up taking it to Big O on L Street (closest to where I was) to repair it a couple weeks ago. The man at Big O told me it might be time for me to consider buying new tires, and I quickly told him I had only just bought the set I had on my car in August 2017. He told me my tires were 5 years old. I asked him how he knew that. He then proceeded to show me along the side of one of the tires where there is a code that gives the week and year the tire was manufactured. I am absolutely livid that Shawn sold me tires that had been sitting on the shelf for 2 years. It has been a great learning experience. Please Google this: "How to check a tire's manufacture date" Dan the Tire Man gives a good photo of it on his website. Also, Shawn convinced me at the time that I needed a whole new set of tires when I went to him for a flat repair. My car was only 3 years old at the time and had less than 30,000 miles on it. He showed me feathering cracks along the side and scared me by telling me those cracks would increase my likelihood of having a blowout on the freeway. Upon further investigation and talking with reputable tire experts, those feathering cracks are inconsequential, and I did not need new tires at that time. read more

Look them up and you'll see that any other place will charge at least $1100 for the tires plus install. These guys also provide free rotation and rebalance with the tires plus free flat repairs!!
