I bought a spare tire/rim for our new car (which didn't come with one) for less than 1/4 the cost of one on-line. It was "used" (dusty, but never driven on). Entire transaction, including finding in a stack of wheels, mounting to verify fit, checking pressure, washing, and stowing in the back of my car took about 30 minutes. They were so helpful!!! I noticed a leak and my tire was going down FAST. I put air in, drove to pep boys and they told me they couldn't help me because they were swamped for the rest of the day. Sunday, most tire shops are closed or close early. It was around 3:45. I knew I needed to get somewhere fast or I would get stranded. I hardly made it to Cheap Tires and I saw they were busy, I really hoped they would be able to help me. They were so friendly and prompt!! They told me it would be about 10 minuets. Then they came and took a look at my tire and confirmed I would need a new one. They gave me a fair price, no crazy mark up like a lot of shops do when they see women. Since I was on a proverbial roll, I figured that I might as well head straight to a tire shop for replacements. A quick "around me" Yelp search led me to the 4.5 star rated "Cheap Tires." As I pulled in I was promptly greeted by a technician who inquired about my service needs. Unfortunately, the appropriately sized tires for my vehicle would have to be ordered and be delivered to the shop the following day. The owner quoted me $80 per tire and promised to contact me when the tires arrived. The following day the owner contacted me informing me that the tires had arrived. I immediately headed to the shop to have the tires fitted and installed. While removing the worn tires, the technician advised me that the pattern of wear on the tires was an indication that I needed a wheel alignment. If you've read my previous review for River City Brakes, you have probably already discovered that my next review will complete my three-part auto repair business review saga. Cheap Tires definitely lives up to its name! One brand new, name brand tire would have cost me over 200 (granted the name brand tires are of better quality and generally are under warranty)! When the found out I Uber there and was stuck they tried bending the rim back and adding sealant. Above and beyond. I know when my tire has a nail in it because I've experienced it before. I came here right when the shop opened on a Sunday morning. They actually opened at 9:20, when their hours show they open at 9am. The man who came out was puffing on a cigarette the whole time I was there. To the point that, by the time I left, my car wreaked of cigarettes. He looked at all my tires. He said there was nothing wrong with them. They looked good and would last for several more months. The next morning, I went to Les Schwab for a second opinion. Turns out, one tire had a nail in it! The tech said that if I kept driving on it for another week, I'd probably have a blowout. Hands down the worst decision I made coming here. I was referred by my identical twin sister who is a little more knowledgable on cars than I am. I pulled into the impossibly small parking lot with my Asian bf and mixed child. I am a Black nb (AFAB) parent. I got out of my car and was pulling up the part I needed when I was approached by a random Hispanic man. He didn't smile, didn't introduce himself and "greeted" me by saying "What do you need" in such a harsh manner I swear the words spit out at me. I explained what I needed and he cut me off saying go to a mechanic. I literally needed two slugs and lugnuts so my tire didn't fall off while driving. I have an almots one year old and a 10 year old son. I try asking about a tire and am met with questions. I ask him if he can look at the tire so he can see what size- again my bf and I are NOT knowledgable about cars and am not about to pretend that we are- and he cut me off continously and when he did look at the tire, he gave me a ridiculous price for a new tire because "didn't have used" and didn't even offer to order. I decided to leave and as I was backing out, a Black man, who came in at the same time, was turned in as well. Last night, I got a flat tire going down Power Inn last night. Didn't realize whatever we drove over shredded our tire. I got on Yelp looking for cheap tire place to replace the one tire. I find Cheap Tires and reading all the Positive Yelp reviews and the one negative review, I figured what the heck! I just want a used tire. So, I called Cheap Tires this morning. A young man answered the phone I asked if he had a used 15in tire available and he needed the exact measurement with I gave him. He continued to tell me it wasn't right. I read I'm the info on my car door and he still said wrong!!! The then hung up on me like. Really?! I called back again and asked why he hung up he said I wasn't giving him the right measurements. I knew I was and it seem like he wasn't listening a I heard music in the background over him and he honest it sounded like he was driving. I gave him the measurements one last time. I asked for the price of a used tire he said $40. I then ask how much for a new tire he said $70 if he had one, he checked and didn't have new. I ask about the used tire how much tread is on it he said it's ok it decent. I decided not to go with this place because the young man was rude hanging up on me! I'm a potential customer I'm not your homie! You will speak to me with respect! I don't speak thug nasty! If that's how you speak to your customers I feel bad for them. I will not! Spend my money with a business who doesn't put customer service and professionalism first. I ended up going to Firestone and got 4 all new tires since, I totally forgot I had a protection plan and got my tires cheaper than what I was being quoted for a used tire. This place my be great! The time was 7:15am. It was a beautiful sunny Monday morning in February. My car keys were in one hand while my lunch and coffee were in the other hand. The birds were chirping and I was in a great mood after a wonderful Yelp brunch on Saturday and the Super Bowl on Sunday. But as soon as I left my home and walked out to my car, all of the happiness quickly diminished as one of my tires was flat! Without hesitation, I got on my hands and knees and put my donut spare tire on my Honda. Come find out that a nail punctured through my right front tire. After a little bit of elbow grease, I then went to my phone and searched for a "used" tire shop somewhere close to my home. Low and behold I found "Cheap Tires" located right off of Business 80 and Marconi Ave. in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento. Now keep in mind, prior to coming here, this place only had ONE Yelp review and no pictures to use to my advantage. This would be enough of a legitimate reason NOT to come here but I used my gut instincts and wishful thinking that this would be an optimistic choice. As soon as I pulled into the lot (which was around 8am), a young man greeted me and saw that I was in desperate need of getting my flat tire replaced. After further examining my other tires, there was another tire that had fairly bald tread on it. It was one of my original Michelin brand tires that I had already put over 50,000 miles on it. I was thinking to myself, how much do used tires go for these days? $50? $70? I have a fairly small car that only uses 14" tires so it shouldn't cost too much. Well, the guy said he'd be able to hook me up with TWO used tires for only $50 + tax! I acknowledged him a big smile as he was able to put my Honda up on the rack and install the two used tires on my car. And these were not any old generic tires; I actually got Kumho brand tires that still had about 70% tread on them. And best of all, I was not charged a disposal fee for the old tires that I had. For these prices and exceptional service, I was on the road and off to work by 8:30am. I wish more places in town were like "Cheap Tires". Many small business owners try to do anything they can to squeeze every last penny out of customers but I did not witness this at all after shopping here. Keep in mind, I do have fairly knowledgeable experience dealing with automobiles and I know a shady business when I see it. But the guys here (which I am thinking are a father and son team) really made this experience well worth it! So thank you "Cheap Tires" as I will definitely come back here for my tire needs! read more

I must have driven over something in the middle of the road while making a delivery at night because I heard a loud sound and when I parked I noticed my tire deflating. I was able to get home and my son put on the spare the next day and we were going to go to Sears for a tire. I did some searches online and found Cheap Tires through Google. I called and I asked some questions before going there. They have good reviews but I was a little skeptical at how cheap the prices were. They were able to repair my tire and put it back for $10.
