Waited in line patiently for at least 20 minutes while I watched them answer several phone calls even though I was in line way before the calls came in The manager, Lawerence, is a pompous douche. He treats his employees rudely and his customers worse. Dude, it's just tires, relax. I asked Lawerence about the tire certification terms and conditions. Basically a product replacement warranty. I specifically asked him if there is a minimum tread requirement for a claim and also a time limit. His response was "no tread limitations and it's good for the life of the tire". what a scammer liar. it is all over America's Tire website that states:" 3 year term and tire must have 3/32" of tread for a valid replacement claim. I left without purchasing tires based on the way Lawrence treated me AND his employees. read more

Needed four tires for my pathfinder. After calling multiple providers, none were discounting the Falken tires I wanted. I called Americas tire and the gentleman said he'd get back to me with pricing. He followed up a couple hours later and ended up matching the best online pricing. The tires were coming from another location so he scheduled installation for 4pm the same day. No deposit required. Throughout the late morning and afternoon, I received text messages updating me on delivery status of my tires. I showed up ontime and they immediately began installation. They have taken time to inspect the tires, see what might be causing the low pressure and explain how to resolve. The last few times we were in, they gave us an inspection and recommended new tires. This place is a joke. I got there and they tell me that my car will be ready in an hour and four hours later when it's closing they're still working on it. They claim they lost my paperwork. My car sat there and I was stuck they claimed to have a good lobby. They're about 10 chairs in the lobby and nothing else do not ever go there unless you have some kind of clear understanding that you must be out by a certain time or you can sit there for the whole day. read more

My tire went flat thanks to a small nail. My early attempt to fix the flat (in the dark, 0400) were a mess as I injected some "Inflata-flat" type stuff, and I wound up taking another car to work. A few days later, AAA came by and inflated the tire. The driver recommended "America's Tire" as a reliable place. Once there, Luke, the technician told me the tire didn't seem to have a leak, but when I described my initial attempts to fix it, he said he would dismount the tire and look further. He did. The inside was a mess from the temporary seal. He washed out the inside and outside of the tire, located the small nail and leak, showed me everything, and repaired it. This took at least an hour of work. When I went to pay the bill, I wasn't charged at all. I was very surprised, and personally paid Luke the $20 cash I had in my wallet. I didn't know anything about America's Tire before, but this lovely convenience has guaranteed that when I need further service or new tires, they're first on my list now. read more

I recently had an oil change at the local BMW dealership, who noticed that there was a significant slit in my back tire that could only be viewed when underneath the car. I sent a video created by BMW to Lawrence to review and provide his feedback. He worked out a great deal to replace a tire. This is exactly why I only go to Discount/America's tire. I am super disappointed. I arrived at 11:00 to have a tire rotation. The tech Robert told me that it would be done at 12:00 and the latest they would have it would be 12:30. He said they would text me when the process begins and as it progresses. I am still waiting and it is now 2:09pm. I just asked them why I haven't received a text and they said my phone number was not in the computer. It's been over three hours now and I still haven't received any text saying the car has begun. They are apologizing to me now saying that they're shortstaffed. But if that's the case I couldn't they have told me that upfront. Just be honest about it. Came in for a tire repair today, they told me after taking the tire off they would be able to repair it. After i drove off my tpms system went on, so i called them and they told me everything on there end checked out. I then checked the tire at a rest stop after continuing to drive and realized they put on the wrong tire (diff brand and SIZE). After calling them out they then realized that they could not repair the tire and there was "confusion" in the shop and they put on the wrong tire. I don't know if this is just negligence they are claiming or if they attempted to steal my more expensive tire than the one they put on. They called another discount tire closer to home to have them replace it but they took an additional 2 hrs to get me the right tire. Would not go back here or any of these branches tbh. Had a bad experience buying the tires from diff shop and this experience solidified i would not be going back to this chain or any other discount tire. I just want to give a BIG shoutout to Lawrence and crew here. They really helped in a major way for me on Friday afternoon, 9/5/25. I was on my way back home to North OC from an all-day conference in San Diego and caught a blowout around Camp Pendleton around 4pm. I called the tow company and called this America's Tire location right after and told them about my situation. Lawrence answered and said to call him when I'm on the tow truck or at 5:55pm (before they close at 6pm), whichever comes sooner. He said he would help me out and that they don't leave right away at 6pm and they can get my appt setup at least. Welp, the tow truck driver got lost because I was stuck in a rural area of the Hwy 5 and their navigation kept giving them incorrect routing. The tow truck driver got to me at 5:50 and while they were loading the car onto the tow-bed, I called Lawrence and told him I'm 10 miles out and should be there in the next 20 minutes or so. He said no problem and that he will be there. I get there and the garage is still open. There's a group of guys closing up but ready to go and fix the tire. After the tow truck driver releases my car from the bed, the America's Tire team takes the car into the garage as I pay the tow truck driver. Lawrence comes out and introduces himself and had to go move another vehicle into the garage. After I pay the tow truck driver, I go into the front of the store and Lawrence tells me what was wrong and says they're going to fix the tire right there and then. I was happily surprised because I was expecting to just leave the car overnight and then pick it up first thing the next morning. So not only did him and his crew stay over and wait for me to get there, they also fixed the tire and got me out of there within 10 mins of arrival. Because they did that, they saved me a great deal of trouble since my home is 45 miles north. So again, thank you to Lawrence and the America's Tire team here for staying an extra hour on a beautiful Friday afternoon to help me in this pinch. The team here is so nice and helpful. Sure they are there to sell you tires but they work very hard to build relationships and to be of assistance. Louie especially is so nice and courteous. Saying you can get tires cheaper elsewhere does not matter as they'll match. Got new tires there this week on my Tesla, I decided to keep 2 of the tires as within specs for lease turn in. I went over 1 week waiting for a tire from Costco and had Capo Ford give me a terrible time honoring my manufacturer's warranty. Falken tire recommended I use America's tire to get my replacement. I couldn't be more thankful. This morning it was slammed and my first thought was it would be forever to get helped and I was so wrong. Even with a packed house they got me covered called Falken themselves to start my process for the exchange ordered my tire put on a temp so I could use my car and did nothing but solve all my problems. First they helped with repairing a tire with a slow leak (small screw in outer tread), which was timely and efficient. Made an appointment and it was fixed within 30ish mins. I had been waiting for the factory set to wear out and knew I was close to needing new tires. Lawrence was super helpful- showed me the wear bar/measurements, etc. Then he went further and helped with finding a better size and style of tire for my suburban and helped with new wheels/rims too. He explained everything, answered a ton of questions did a fit test. He had the tires and wheels ordered and delivered within a day and got them installed with reasonable and competitive pricing. I was ready to drive someplace, but my new car alerted me to "low tire pressure" on my driver's side front tire. I quickly drove back to my house, my husband checked the pressure. Sure enough, I found a nail in the tire, I had places to go, and I wanted to call 911! My husband inflated it enough for me to drive for a tire patch job, but WHERE? Luckily I thought about America's Tire Store which is very close to Rancho San Clemente, RSC where I live. I drove over and Noe came up right away to ask me what I needed and I explained. He directed me over to the waiting office, and by the time I walked over there, my tire was pulled off of my car and they were working on it. They got the tire patched in no time! When I asked, "how much?" Noe said it was FREE!!! (What the??) Really? That was so good, it made me feel well-cared for. Everyone in that shop works so hard and in harmony. I had to come to YELP to let everyone know. A tire going flat is sort of an emergency when you need your car to get places. Just think of the address, 911 Pico in San Clemente!
