On this visit, I purchased LT285/60R18 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO3s, and they fit my truck perfectly. I have a 2-inch lift and had already done an alignment. On my first visit, I wish the initial employee had taken a little more time to walk through my questions, though he did say the tires would fit. When I came back for the install, Jose completely turned the experience around. He was professional, took the time to come out, listen, and double-check everything. He was honest about a possible slight rub and made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward. That customer service made a big difference. There was a small appointment mix-up, but nothing major. Service started up spectacular . Second trip back this time I needed to buy two new tires because I hit some block debris in the road. Front clerk was very personable and helpful , asking if he would think I would need an alignment and I said I don't know you guys tell me and let me know . Because of the hit, a new sensor was also needed two tires balancing installation 308 not too bad . Then they come out and tell me they already put the sensor in and that was an additional $75 . Difficulty doing the second scan on all the wheels so they had to bring it back into the shop and do some more adjustments . Alignment was never spoken of again . I left a lot with my wheel at least a 15% angle and I have damaged shoulders and hands . I made it about a mile and had to turn back . Now the issue wasn't that I needed alignment the issue was that whoever drove my car somehow didn't either take it for a test drive and notice the severity of the wheel and the pull of the car which in my opinion left me leaving the lot in an unsafe vehicle . I was so upset I came back and the manager of the shop on telephone wanted to argue with me about how because I hit something I would need alignment, how the tow truck driver probably damage the alignment whatever the situation the point being he never once apologized for not taking the car for a test drive and coming back and suggesting, as it was spoken from the beginning, that yes this car needs an alignment . All he wanted to do was argue with me. I wasn't being heard, and to me , what he was trying to say was irrelevant because he wasn't listening to my needs . I was so disappointed I actually left crying . Now I need to find another place to take it to get it aligned and unfortunately a wonderful tire place is now no longer my place to go and they lost a loyal customer. Yeah I'm just one person but I cannot believe how ignorant and rude the manager was when all he simply had to do was say, you're right this is completely out of alignment. Apparently someone didn't take it for a test drive. Would you like us to fix it and this is how much it's going to cost . No he wanted to argue I'm blame everybody else even to the unbalanced shop asphalt instead of simply saying obviously no one took it for a test drive . I apologize . I rarely write reviews yet feel compelled to highlight Jose at America's Tire. I have been buying my tires from this location for years and have the worst luck with nails. Hence tire insurance. The other day I had a nail in my tread but the nail was sideways in the tread. I did not believe the nail punctured tire so I removed nail. Seemed fine so I wanted to bring car in to make sure tire was not compromised. Problem is this was late at night and I am working the next 5 days and really a window of like 10 minutes prior to closing in the hopes I could get it checked. The day after I discovered nail I worked an 18 hour shift and arrived at America Tire like 10 minutes before closing. I believed I was not going to be helped and told to come back. I had to try, was not going to beg, just see if they would help me at the end of their shift. When I got there just before closing there was one customer in front of me paying his bill. Jose finished up with a car in a bay and immediately came into the showroom to help me. His demeanor was professional and genuinely concerned to help me. He did not rush the process and allowed me to explain why I was there. He immediately asked me to pull car into bay and he was going to inspect my tires and ensure I was safe. He was extremely helpful and in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Jose inspected tire I had issue with and ran diagnostic to ensure if my tire was compromised in any way degrading safety. He also filled up each tire with air and asked if there was anything else he could help with. At this time it was past 1800 hours. I had a nail in my tire last year and I pulled up to shop around the same time and once a technician saw me pull up they closed the bay door. The nail was deflating my tire as I parked. Had to call an uber and it was a simple nail plug. Then I had to take the next day off to take care of tire. I was expecting this issue was going to be the same thing. Nope.... Jose was great and he is an exceptional employee to have on your team. I wanted to give Jose money for helping me out and making sure my tires were safe but I don't carry cash. I wanted to post as he deserves recognition for his great service. People are quick to complain yet few acknowledge great service which Jose gave me. Great job Jose... and for being kind and helpful. This hurts to put 1 star, I have been coming here for years for both my cars and the wife's. We bought a set of tires online and made an appointment to get them out on. Show up early for the appointment only to stand there with no help until almost 10 minutes after my appointment. They say the car will be done in a hour and a half. I come back then to see my car just going in? Then they tell me they don't have my tires in stock we purchased? Then charges me the difference, what happened to this place, extremely disappointing. read more

I needed my tires rotated and I saw all the good reviews and I decided to give this company a try. When I arrived it look busy. I walked up to the service desk and spoke to Edgar about rotating my tires and he wanted to get my cars info, so we walk outside to my car and he used a scanner on my tires and got my mileage and info. After all that he told me something about the board standard tires they will not service my car. So I told him okay thank you for the info and start to walk to my car and I need to know what that term was so I talk to a tire tech or one of their techs and ask them about that this board standard mean. The tech inform me it was a fancy way saying it was my tread depth is to low. So Now I am upset to the fact that Edgar had the opportunity to sell me 4 new tires but instead tells me they can't service my car and leaves with no effort to sale me new tires. So I drive across the street and went to discount tires on the same street and they offered to rotate my tires or I can buy new tires so I decided to buy 4 new tires. I recommend that Edgar need some training to work on his selling because it was a great opportunity to selling 4 new tires. read more

I took my car in last Saturday. I thought I had originally made an appointment with the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone over a week ago, but I was not in their system. But that didn't matter because Jose, which I believe is the manager there, still accommodated me. I got a tire rotation and I will tell you that from the time I got there,dropped my car off. I had a really good experience. He made me feel comfortable. He still took me in to get my tires rotated, and I am a very happy customer. America's Tire in Ventura allowed me to make an online appointment. The entire experience was top-notch. Lovely, professional service lobby, knowledgeable staff, upfront pricing, nice waiting area. After inspecting tire in question, service tech came to inform me that leaking air culprit was a nail in tire. They patched the tire. Service is consistently amazing across all their store locations, and each one of the employees makes sure you're taken care of. I came in for a complimentary tire rotation and had a question regarding my tire that was losing air from a nail and supposedly patched by a different tire shop. I was greeted with smiles and respect, and was in and out within the hour, no appointment needed (even though I had one). The employee notified me that they usually do a plug and patch, and that my tire was only patched, which resulted in the patch failing and losing air. Now I know to not trust any other tire shop except this one. They also helped pump my tires up to the OEM spec without me asking. Keep this company in mind for all your tire needs! read more

America's Tire Store went above & beyond on 4/30/25. My husband and I were in downtown Ventura when as we were preparing to leave and drive home we noticed a nail protruding on the side of our back left tire. We were afraid to drive too far. Fortunately there was an America's Tire Store nearby. When we met with, Robert Padilla, at the location on Main St. in Ventura, he said the tire would need to be replaced because the nail was protruding from the side and not the tread. We asked him to replace it and was prepared to pay the $250. for a new tire. When the car was on the rack, Robert came to us to show us the nail and say that it hadn't penetrated the wall of the tire, wasn't leaking and they were able to fix it without us buying a new tire! It's so refreshing to find someone like Robert who is HONEST. He could've easily given us a new tire and no one would've been the wiser. There have been many times that I have stopped in an America's Tire store to have air put in my tires. Their employees are always so courteous and helpful and they don't charge anything for that service. That is why when I need tires I ALWAYS buy them at America's Tire Store. read more

Warning!!!! Do not bring your car to this place unless you want them to pretend to fix the problem by just resetting your low tire pressure light. Warning!!!!! My light came on in my car telling me that one of my tires had low pressure due to a possible leak- the lazy people working here, instead of actually checking the cause of the light turning on, all they did is reset the tire light without actually fixing the problem. These people should be sued for negligence. It's absolutely irresponsible and one day they will cause someone to die to injure themselves in a car accident because of their lazy, inept behavior. I've been shopping here for years, after searching and trying different stores for several years. I find America's Tire to be the best when it comes to the whole package. They have a great selection of tires, competitive prices, friendly and knowledgeable employees, and clean and comfortable waiting areas no matter which location. This last visit was no different, except that I ordered the tires online under a special promotion. Once they were delivered, the next day, I was called to notify me of that fact and asked if I wanted to come in a day earlier than what was booked online. I did and arrived at a busy waiting area, but they moved us through quickly. I was quoted a time, and the car was delivered on the button of their estimate. After so many years, this location has gone down, the new manager Edgar Rivera, is not a very caryy store manger. I went there for a simple fix of my tire and ethan was not very helpfull at all he only wanted to sell me a new tires, only because he said my tires were to old. The tire was in good shape, so he got my flat fixed. Then I odered a new set of tires, and made an appoinment, when showing up my tires were not there. Why u said they would be, so I made another apponitment with Ethan, for !0: 45 A.M. I sat there for 30 minuntes, till I got servive. The they lost my hub cat, at that is a whole nother sorry.
