Warning light on the dashboard lit up this afternoon, so of course I head to 7, wait, this isn't 7 Day Tire Store anymore? Oh, that's right, it's under new management now. Big banner hanging out front. New name, too. It's Mr Tire now. I love that banner! It says "Mr Tire will beat anyone's advertised price or your tires are FREEEEE!!" (I always imagine the Sit n Sleep guy saying it, LOL) Driving over I'm thinking, Will the Mr Tire team be as fantastic as their predecessors? Sure hope so because those 7 Day Tire dudes were cool AF! They set the customer service bar pretty high. Great news! They're still cool AF here. They quickly checked my tires, determined that they just needed a little air. I love the smell of new tires! This place hands down is the cleanest trie shop I've been to. Their waiting area is pretty roomy too! So, before coming here, I called all around the county for pricing and this place (being within less 5 miles) has the best prices! My dealership wanted a crazy amount to do an alignment, but couldn't beat this store prices! The price was less, if not less than half of what the dealership was asking for. Luckily, I arrived during the slow hours and they were able to start the alignment with 5-10 minutes after I arrived. Plus, it's the day after Thanksgiving, so it was perfect timing! As my last reviews, I always like to support the smaller businesses vs the big companies. I feel the small businesses treat you a lot better and it's more quality over quantity. Ok... it's a Saturday evening and I find out that I have a bolt or a nut in my tire. I need to go a place that's open on the weekend. I did my google search and... The place that I originally went to had a super long line!! Hate that feeling too... right? So... I called up 7 Day Tire Store and Matt picks up. There's no wait (or at least a very small one) and welcomes me to come on in! I look on my map and the 7 Day Tire Store is RIGHT NEXT DOOR! I couldn't believe it! I see Matt... he is AMAZING! I had a flat this past Saturday. My 911 does not come with a spare tire. The Auto Club towed my car to Big Brand Tire Shop in Ventura. The person who helped my said they didn't have the tire in stock and couldn't get it until Monday. I understood about not having the tire in stock, but I told him I'm leaving Sunday. I asked if he can patch the tire and I will get new ones later. He said the tire was too old (10 years old) and didn't want the liability to patch it. I asked if he can patch it and I will not hold him responsible if anything happens. He said No. So, I see they would prefer to leave me stranded then to help. I drove my car with a flat next door to 7 Day Tire Store. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. They didn't have my tire in stock either. But rather then leaving me stranded, he said he'll try to patch it. I never asked him to patch the car because I knew the tire was old. I thought about getting it towed back home until I can bring it in for new tires. He managed to patch my car and I was so thankful. I asked him to order me four new tires and I will bring my car next Saturday. All I wanted was to be able to drive my car home, have it sit in my garage until I can bring it back for new tires. 7 Day Tire Store was definitely helpful, and their prices are good too. I was quoted for a set of 4 tires and 7Day Tire store was very competitive. Why I chose to buy my new tires here: I went to a big chain tire store and the tire size I needed was not in stock. I was given quote with a much higher price for a tire with about 30,000 less mile warranty than the one I wanted to purchase. Needless to say, the big chain tire store also wanted to sell me a tire that was larger than the original size tire on my SUV. I asked if it will throw off my suspension and speedomoter which he replied to me with a yes. Being frustrated, I drove and found 7Day tire store. The salesman came out to view my tires. They are three yrs old and are original from the factory. I mentioned which tire I was interested in purchasing and he said he had to order them but not to worry as they are in his warehouse. I set an appointment and had them installed. I'm very happy with my decision and with how professional 7Day Tire Store sales people are. He did not try to sell me tires that were to tall for my SUV. He quoted me a much lower price than the competition. Special shout out to Greg. He found me perfect fit tires and wheels with out spacers. Most shops gave up on me or tried to charge me 2500 crazy expensive rims that eventually didn't fit. I have a lifted jeep renegade with a pretty much a 4 inch lift. And did everything 1000 dollars cheaper. If you tires and rims they are great. They are knowledgeable. Outanding service! I woke up to a flat tire, which instantly made me worry about money and inability to get some errands completed. The tow truck driver who put on my spare recommended these folks so I went to the store thirty minutes before they opened. As the employees and Matt (who ran the front arrived) they helped me instantly. It was discovered I only needed a patch, which took roughly 30-40 minutes to repair. I was so impressed by the service and honesty I received here I will definitely be coming back. I started with inquiring through Yelp, because a competitor had told me I needed new brakes, which would be over $700 on my car. I could not afford that. Guess what? Spoke with Johnny from Mr. Tire through Yelp, who had me call Steve . He was so nice & honored another quote I had gotten ( I was calling around for quotes ) and matched the price . He said first let's make sure you actually need new brakes. I made an appointment for Monday morning and was greeted by Christian . He called me after a few hours and said I actually didn't need new brakes. I could wait a bit and he was completely transparent on the pricing and gave me detailed info. BEWARE!!! So I was shopping around for some new tires and thought why not go with the little guy instead of the big chain stores, terrible mistake. As I walked into the store the guy at the desk wasn't wearing a mask, strike one. Guy reluctantly starts trying to put on mask, but never does. Then another guy comes from the back of the store without a mask on either, strike two. The guy from the back doesn't even try to put on a mask once he arrives at the counter. Get this. The low tire pressure warning light came on so I headed out to big brand tires. Except I went to the old location by mistake. Recognizing the gentleman that had helped me many times in the past I said I had called about getting the pressure in my tires checked and asked if they had moved back to this location. "No they're still there." said Johnny. OMG! Johnny is back! So Johnny doesn't hesitate and says they'll (he's in business make no mistake) check it out. I sit down out front (what a great place to wait!) and in just a few minutes Johnny comes back and says the passenger side rear is low. I explain that last night I tried to put air in all the tires not knowing which one was low and that I definitely let out more air out than I put in on that one. So I would have been good with just adding air. (btw nitrogen is not something to worry about being used to inflate your tire). But Johnny said he didn't want me to leave without having the tire pulled to check for a puncture. He said it with the emotion and concern your parent's or a friend would use. How often does that happen? For tires, wheels, brakes, shocks or alignments I recomend you go to the 7 Day tire store located at 3850 Main Street, Ventura CA.
