Let me start by saying that I have waited to write this review not only for seeing how well the…read moreinstall went, but the longevity of the work. I was NOT disappointed. The summer of 25 our AC unit completely failed after changing out various parts by myself over the years. I had 2 other companies come out and look at it, and both came back relatively close in price, but timeline for repair was totally unacceptable for my situation. With a pregnant wife, and temps hitting 90+ inside the house, a fan could only do so much. I reached out to Dilling, on a recommendation from a neighbor that had owned a HVAC company but sold to another vendor. Seemed a bit off, but when we called, and spoke with the lady on the phone, I completely understood why. Her ability to sense why I was calling on a 95* day was impeccable. They were out that same day, and I do believe that the man saw the desperation in my eyes as he panned over to my pregnant wife and placed his hand on my shoulder. He not only took interest in why i had continued to fix the old heap, but was more impressed that I genuinely had no clue what I was talking about, but kept it running. I called things by the wrong names, that I had made up and he sort-of knew what part i was talking about after some explaining of where and what it looked like. His diagnosis was the same as the other two companies. It is completely dead. Replace only.
but then what happened next surprised me. the guy took a few phone calls, not from other jobs, but he put out a call to help find us some better pricing. were they wholesalers? Competitors? cousins who "find" things? couldnt tell you. but what i will say is that he not only got us a great deal for a FULL UNIT, upstairs and outside, he was able to get it done within a couple short days. When the install was happening, along side of all the techs, all the people who knew what they were doing, this guy was doing the install too. not just watching. Dennis was a hero for me that day, and I've only had to call them for minor questions, that were my own stupidity for not listening initially, which I heard from my wife first. I can' t say enough good things about this company. truly. they were there when we needed them most, they made real efforts to help us with price, and held their word with timelines, and had me up and chilly in 2 total days of work. outstanding. just outstanding.
oh, and its now 7/2026. in the heatwave. and its still 71* inside. no issues to report with quality of units, price, timeline, customer service, or quality of work and install. 10/10.
