Relaxing afternoon at La Vidorra Spa! I purchased a Groupon for a 50 minute massage, and all day pool access. The spa is located at The Scott Resort in Old Town Scottsdale. Parking is free, and self-serve in the front of the property. La Vidorra is a boutique style spa. They do not have amenities like a sauna, steam room, or locker room. However, they have a restroom inside the spa if you need to change into your bathing suit for the pool. Alexis, the spa manager helped me when arrived. She was extremely kind, and gave me guidance on where the pool was located. My massage treatment was very relaxing and my therapist got all the tension out of neck. After my massage, I went to the pool and relaxed with a book for the rest of the afternoon. I enjoyed some tacos & frose, and had an amazing afternoon! read more

A very well organized spa in the Scott Resort. We went in on a Sunday morning for treatment and it was heavenly. I opted for the Soak and Massage package. Entering the spa itself, you're greeted and asked to wait in the waiting area until they call you. When you're called it, you're escorted to your spa room. I was given a spacious room because the tub and the massage table were in one. The soak experience was a claw tub already filled with a bubble bath. You're given a bath bomb to include, if you choose. I found the tub to have extremely hot water, so I had to drain it a bit and cool the water temp a bit. If you're a fan of a soak, this is for you. If you're not a fan of baths/soaks, then don't do this. The massage therapist gave me a knock to tell me soak time was up and I was to get on the table. The massage was the best part. The therapist had heavy hands, as I requested. She worked problem areas and I felt such relief after. Once it was all done, you had time to get dressed and leave. The showers in the room did t work, so you had to forgo that. You're given a beverage after and you're on your way. Overall, it was a great experience, a little pricy, but worth it. Staff was friendly and the spa was clean. I felt my back stay loose for a week after that, my masseuse was that great! read more

She exerted just the right amount of pressure which combined with the beautiful treatment room, made it a really wonderful massage. The treatment rooms were nice and well-equipped including an ensuite bathroom and a beautiful tub in the treatment room. The only reason for the four stars is that the spa itself is very small and they do not have any saunas, steam rooms or even pools for just the spa guests. They do not have a locker room, so your things stay in your room and my room didn't have a working shower. Now as far as my soak and body treatment, it was absolutely amazing. I've never had a better massage. My masseuse was Jillian and I can tell you she was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend her and would come back even with the lack of amenities just for her. The Viddora experience was everything I had dreamed of. When I arrived into the room, there was a full bubble bath with flower petals waiting for me. I soaked for 20 minutes and then had a scrub, oil and massage. I highly recommend this body treatment. My skin was so hydrated and my muscles were so relaxed. I wish I could give a separate review for her because she was so professional and she was the best masseuse I've ever had. When the treatment was over, they had homemade chocolate bark and a mimosa waiting for me. It was amazing. read more

I came here for a relaxing girls trip and had one of the best massages of my life! The spa is nestled on the side of the entrance of the resort -- it's gated. The atmosphere was giving me cozy, cottage vibes. I got the La Vidorra 80 minute massage with Jackie. She was absolutely fantastic! She took out all the knots I had on my upper and lower back. At the end, I was offered a mimosa, water and chocolate truffles. It was a relaxing experience. If you're ever in Scottsdale, AZ and looking into planning a relaxing girls trip with massages, I highly recommend this place! I was staying at The Scott for an early birthday trip and decided with my bestie to get a massage. The area and atmosphere was so serene, quiet, and welcoming. I also loved the smell of the whole area. My massage was wonderful. It was very calming and exactly what I needed. The only thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way...not an intended pun haha...was when I checked out the spa puts a 25% tip on and say they will rerun it if you do not want that. I came here while on vacation for a facial. Stacy was amazing. It was the best facial I ever had in my life! She had the magic touch and left my skin feeling nourished and glowing. The actual spa is very serene and has such a nice aesthetic. Please note that this spa does not have a steam room or sauna but that didn't matter to me. I was also given a CBD infused tea and allowed to sit in this comfy oversized chair to relax as long as I wished. I went in for the la vidorra experience which included a soak followed by a massage. The spa didn't have any amenities which was a disappointment. Spa guests may use the resort pools during the week which is nice. Unfortunately, no sunscreen was provided in the pool area and the spa didn't have any for sale. I am not sure what the deal is with that. The staff were pleasant, but really robotic. The treatment went well. A nice touch was the basket of truffles on the way out of the treatment area. This Spa has been on our top list since our first visit Summer 2019. Their recent 2020 upgrades just made it even more cute and enjoyable! After having experienced a few treatments in the last months I have to say that therapists are THE BEST in Scottsdale. In recent months their renewed attention to detail and guest services have been super well received by us and other guests that we were able to talk to during our visit. I enjoyed a FANTASTIC stone massage with Himalayan Salt Stones that was EPIC! Being used to the regular stones this therapy was a complete eye opener and allowed me to sleep like a rock for at least two consecutive nights in a row. The therapist explained all the benefits from this new therapy and performed like an angel. I wish this protocol was executed as flawlessly as they do it here. My loved one had a body treatment, she was also really happy with all the ingredients and results from her session too. They've added in-room bathtubs and showers making the overall experience very comfortable, private, and luxurious. The rest of the resort is luscious, green and beautiful, definitely worth checking it out! Really enjoyed my time at the La Vidorra Spa. I received the Himalayan salt hot stone massage by April and it was perfect - very soothing and relaxing. The actual spa is very pretty with an intimate/chic feel. I didn't experience any of the "waiting in robes" stuff you might get at bigger spas but it could have been because I booked a last minute slot and had to be there within an hour. If you want the full spa experience with lockers, robes, waiting rooms, etc. try booking in advance or check out a few of the other spas in Scottsdale. My mom and I wanted to take a girls trip and after the crazy 15 months we have had, I wanted to do something special for her. We both had the La Vidorra Experience and let me tell you, it was by far, the most incredible experience I or my mother have ever had! To begin, you are guided to your own personal room with a warm bath already drawn for you. You spend 15 or so minutes soaking and getting into an incredibly relaxed state of mind. After a gentle warning from your therapist, you make your way to the heated massage table where you wait for a few minutes feeling like a clean baby after a warm bath ready for bed. (Sounds dramatic but it's exactly how I felt) The full body scrub was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Starting with what felt like a warm oil shortly followed by the sugar scrub. After the physical exfoliation, warm water was used to massage and cleanse the skin and wiped clean by a hot towel. This is followed by a tailored massage using the best smelling body butter. The 90 minute experience was well worth the price and the adorable spa is a must see while in Scottsdale or staying at the Scott Resort. My therapist was Pam and my mom had Juliane. Do NOT recommend this spa. We mistakenly signed up for "The Body Glow" which we thought was a massage, IT WAS NOT. It was basically someone scrubbing your limbs down, rinsing them off, then attempting to dry them while you lay on a soggy towel. It started to get cold halfway into the treatment because they pour water bottles all over you throughout the whole thing and you just lay on soaking wet towels. Seriously, the worst experience I've ever had. Not relaxing at all and not to mention I had to pay almost $200 for the most uncomfortable hour. read more

We went here for a bachelorette party and the supervisor did a great job coordinating as far as I could tell. There was a cute table with champagne glasses with all our names, she would pour our drinks, etc. The treatment rooms were pretty relaxing though I could someone hear traffic noises during my massage. I would never want to pay the original price of $90 for a 30 minute massage. Massage Envy is just as good and I could get a 90 minute massage including tip for that same price. Despite the price, my 30 minute massage was good. No real complaints there. This review is really about my nail services. The actual services were not close to worth the special group rate that we received. I received the one included "upgrade" worth $10 for their "gel alternative" nail polish. It was already starting to peel up the minute I walked out the door. It's less than 24 hours later and I feel like I could have done a better polish job myself. The services were scheduled for 50 minutes each though I feel like it was just slower, not more thorough or detailed. 5 stars are in order for my facial with Lauren I was able to experience yesterday. I felt beyond pampered the moment Lauren greeted me. The scott resort is my top- tier favorite resort in Scottsdale and La Vidorra Spa won me over as well. The facial lasted 50 minutes and consisted of a double cleanse and Clarisonic to begin, a tingling-moisturizing mask and while the mask set she provided me with a comforting dry scalp massage. ***heaven*** I'm pretty sure when she asked how the pressure was I mumbled something incoherently because I began R.E.M. After the scalp massage were light extractions and a brightening mask that followed, the brightening mask and all the products smelled so sweet and subtle. Fresh and non-chemically. I am sensitive to fragrance and these products were absolutely no problem to my sensitivities. During the setting of my Brightening mask Lauren massaged my shoulders and forearms which completely melted the stress of the hectic work week away. I was so impressed with her facial massage layering on my moisturizer and sunscreen that I applied my night serums at home the same way! It makes such a difference. I will continue to pamper myself with Lauren at La Vidorra and fingers crossed my husband is reading this and catches my clue for upcoming birthday and holidays! *wink-wink* read more

I think this is an excellent spa for what it is...but you need to understand what you are getting into. This is not a mega-spa, with big soaking areas and lounge areas and whatnot. You walk into a small reception area, get checked in and hang out a bit, and are then taken to your treatment room. This is a pretty large and luxurious room, you have a place to sit and a shower and your treatment area, but that's it. There are maybe a half dozen, or eight, I'm not sure. But this is not the place for a big group of friends, or to spend a day. It's just not that kind of place. But it is a place for high-class treatments from nice people. There were four of us (two couples) so we had a broad range of experiences with different treatments and massages and we all came out very happy. I guess we had six people work with us and all of us thought the attendants were talented and very pleasant. So if that is what you are looking for--it was what we were looking for--you should be very satisfied. Think of Jurlique as a place to spend an hour or 2 on a lazy afternoon, then get a drink outside someplace and head to dinner, and you will be happy. Think you are going to show up and 8am and be poured into your limo home at 5pm and you are probably going to be disappointed. read more

I'm at a loss for words for how grateful I am to everyone at the Scott Resort and La Vidorra Spa - they made me look like an amazing planner and were super on top of all of our group's needs... so here goes nothing: I'm the MoH for my best friend's wedding and had been planning her bachelorette weekend in Scottsdale from afar. By far the trickiest part was finding a spa that accommodated our large group (10), didn't cost a fortune, and had great additional amenities. After calling / emailing about 14 spas, I finally found La Vidorra. Upon first talking to Kellee, I thought this was too good to be true... the price was THE BEST we were quoted, the resort looked amazing, and Kellee's communication was incredible throughout. As I started planning the weekend more thoroughly, I realized I needed a brunch location as well, and Kellee handled arranging that for 12 of us. Since we were going to be there for a while, I decided a cabana would be ideal, and once again Kellee set EVERYTHING up. Upon arrival, seeing my best friend's (and everyone else's tbh) reaction to the beautiful resort almost made me cry. The decor at the spa is so trendy and lush and magical. While there, we didn't have to lift a finger -- Kellee personally greeted me at brunch and made sure that everything from valet, to cabana and spa location was clear. While at the spa, Jill took amazing care of getting us set up w/ our therapists. I heard rave reviews from the girls about their massages but personally I'm sure my therapist Ashley had to have been the best! I've had several massages and this has hands down been the best ever, which I did not expect from such a small masseuse! (That'll teach me to make assumptions!) At one point, she told me, "you have sciatica don't you?" and I couldn't believe she could tell that. She worked diligently on my problem areas and even went over our scheduled time bc she really wanted to help me out. If she lived in SF, I'd have a monthly scheduled massage w/ her. I tend to think once I've visited a US city, that I won't plan another visit there on my own, so that I can try and see ALL the places lol but honestly, the Scott Resort & La Vidorra make me want to head back to Scottsdale immediately!!! My reservation was for 180 mins and Andrea took care of me. I know it is a spa and most people go for rest and relaxation, but I have had a shoulder, neck, and right back problem with muscle tightness and spasm that affecting my sleep and daily life. Andrea listened to me and gave me the right treatment for my pain. She was attentive to my requests and she communicated what she was going to do to help me throughout the session. She targeted exactly where I needed her to focus. I cried out of relief by the time she was done. Thank you Andrea for truly caring and helping me! I loved how cute and relaxing this place is - you almost feel like your in this little cottage in a charming little town. I must admit, my facial was amazing! On the other hand, my pedicure was typical. Not bad, just nothing special. Jurlique is very pricey! The facial and pedicure was a little over $200. I expected the price, however, what I didn't expect was a mandatory 20% tip! I probably would have left a decent tip anyway but I was a little offended that it was automatically added. As much as I liked the facial, I probably won't go back due to the tip policy, I don't think it's acceptable. Change the policy and I'll be back! read more

Spent the afternoon here while my husband golfed. I booked about 2 months in advance for a hot Himalayan salt stone massage and a facial. I really would give this 4.5 stars if I could. They were welcoming and very professional. My massage was just okay nothing to really write home about. My facial was awesome and the tech had slight touch. They send you on your way with a tasty macaroon. There is no locker room so really no where to just hang out and relax before or after.
