I just went here for my birthday with my family and we were supposed to have amazing family game night but our lane wasn't working at all kept breaking down on us , the whole area smell so so horrible and i understand that they were short staff but infact everyone was complaining about there lanes being broken i honestly think this was the worse experience the worse family game night and worse way to celebrate my birthday with my family I honestly think you guys should close your door permanently and shut down for good Please don't go here this was waste of money and trust me it's so horrible Thank you AMF Rockling lanes for making my birthday horrible and making me and my family game night worse Now I home all upset and down and I don't wanna celebrate anymore you guys ruin it for me tonight was suppose to be a fun family birthday game night but instead it's was a disaster You guys needs a to shut down permanently and lock your doors and go out of business and a lot of people were complaining about how the lanes aren't working not enough bowling balls. I am beyond impressed with this bowling alley! First, I must go on and on about the price differences between this bowling alley and another local bowling alley. This bowling alley is substantially less expensive than a bowling alley that is nearby. This place offers a full bar, which I absolutely appreciate. Also, our server, Riley, was beyond attentive and considerate. The manager, Scott, is also professional, caring, and courteous. I loved that he checked on me and other bowlers the whole time we were there. The bowling alley was clean, and we had a great time. This place has me and my family as customers for life. read more

After being away from bowling for many years I have decided to join the Wednesday night league at AMF Rocklin lanes. I could not be happier, Managers Chris and Scott and the entire staff have always been so helpful and welcoming. The facility is always clean and very well maintained. This place is busy busy on a Friday night which is to be expected, but I highly recommend making a reservation because there was an hour+ wait. Hung out in the bar and wanted to play pool while we waited for a lane to open, but they only have one billiards table and the people that were hogging it would leave the pool table unattended between plays for long periods to talk at their drink table. I almost feel like there should be a rule against that. The staff is very nice, attentive, and prompt especially the lady who was working the food counter. She greeted me upon my entrance and took the time to ensure our food order was accurate. I wish I had gotten her name, because she's very friendly and provides great customer service. The menu is your typical bowling alley food--burgers, pizzas, wings, fries, etc. we got the large bacon cheese fries with ranch on the side to share. The fries were cooked well and the bacon had good flavor, but there was wayyyyyy too much cheese which was just your typical canned nacho style cheese. Half the fries were so cheesed they became soggy before we could eat them all. If I were to do it again, I would ask for some grated cheese on top instead of the nacho cheese sauce for better flavor and texture. After 10pm they turn the lights down and play a great playlist of music videos. The people in the lane next to us even commented on it too. Couldn't communicate a lack of availability in a professional manner. Stated a reservation for a specific time was all but certain, that I would be on the waitlist. It's always enjoyable to bowl at AMF Rocklin. The front desk staff are courteous, professional, and helpful. The center is clean and inviting. The arcade has a variety of games available that could appeal to any age group, plus a billiard room for those wanting to experience a game of pool. The seating area for the bowlers is about the most comfortable and spacious of any center I've visited. Cushioned seating, plenty of room, very clean, and includes a small table in the center of the settee. The snack bar options along with drinks are really good with service to match. AMF Rocklin has 40 lanes of bowling with automatic scoring that is just about as easy as it gets for setting up on your first visit. Staff members are always handy if you need a bit of help the first time. Very competitive pricing based on each game bowled, allowing us to enjoy the experience with friends without being on a time clock. Specials each day if you bowl three games, and great packages for league bowlers that even give you free practice games, something very few bowling centers in the state offers. Lanes seem to be available at almost every hour they are open with maybe the exception of a busy league night. Easy to make lane reservations to be certain of lane availability by visiting their website for the simple process of making a reservation. I've enjoyed bowling for many years and find AMF Rocklin one of the best centers in the Sacramento Valley for service, comfort, value, and enjoyment, whether you are an expert or bowling for the first time. read more

One of the best Bowling Alley in the area. It's always clean and the staff is always helpful. The lanes are good and they accommodate large parties. The arcade area is decent but it's definitely enough to keep the kids busy. I recommend this spot for some good family fun. read more

We had the best time this past weekend at AMF for our son's birthday. We had 12 kids / 3 lanes and we did have the package with food / drinks. The staff at AMF Rocklin were the most helpful, service oriented and speedy folks. For our family they made our son's party so special, and fun. He said it was the best party he has ever had and it was all due to the people who helped us. The food was good too and they made sure we had drinks and food without waiting (on a busy Saturday night too). We have to thank them for the service they provided - especially when one of the boys kept throwing his ball down the lane when the lane was resetting - even after many times of warning from us parents to not do this, he finally did stop. The staff were seriously kind and kept clearing his error not making him feel bad - they were just NICE. Needless to say he finally understood you don't throw the ball down the lane to clog it up - he learned how to bowl that night too. Thank you again for your service and fun for the kids - we bowl with your establishment often but that birthday party was above and beyond which you all should be recognized for. read more

This place is in pretty rough shape they don't have enough balls either they also say that it is 9.99 per game but they actually char 9.99 per person per game which they did not clarify in anyway. It is just a straight rip off there are so many better places we paid 47 bucks for about 40 minutes read more

Lanes were dry, our lane kept having problems breaking and not returning balls, and the staff weren't very friendly. That being said, the experience was redeemed by the awesome guys in the pro shop and getting a couple free games because the lane broke. read more

My hubby and I decided to come by for date night since it had been ages since we bowled and they have the best deals in our area. It was either the weight of the bowling ball or my long acrylic nails, but it was painful to bowl. I still hanged in there for my hubby, because I love him and got some good points in! My hubby had great form and knocked down pins with ease both rounds! I personally had the most fun with him in their big Arcade area! We played classics like the World's Largest PAC-Man, one of my favorites Space Invaders, Mario Kart DX and Injustice! I would recommend this bowling alley, they have a bar with food and drinks, music videos like my personal favorite, Biggie Smalls' song, "Big Poppa," friendly staff and weekly deals! AMF Rocklin overcharges customers and makes no effort to improve the facility. The lanes, equipment, and atmosphere all reflect a lack of care and attention. Week after week, management continues to ignore complaints and fails to deliver on their promises. Whether you want to bowl in a league, host a party, or just play for fun, find another place. We came on a whim after finding a groupon for 2 hours for two people for $23! What a steal. That included shoe rental. Upon entering they were so nice. Pizza was good, beer was cold, drink were great! Manager Scott was kind and his workers were so nice as well. read more

Let me tell you a story: bought a Groupon for $23 which was 2 people for 2 hours of bowling plus shoes. We arrive my sister tags along for one bowler at regular purchase. We order food at 12:32 per time stamp via the online ordering and by let's say 1 (didn't check the clock) my husband checks in to see an ETA, they didn't even know an order had been placed after them checking got an ETA of 5-10, go check about 1:30 still nothing and already 2.5 games in, almost done. cancel the food order and get refunded. All good. My sister goes to pay for her bowling and the say you were lane 13 with the Groupon...yeah... oh your all good and here's two free games of bowling. We stopped at UOB in Roseville for food. We get home my sister sees a charge for $62.18+\- she calls bowling alley and through a 15 minute phone call with a super staticky phone line she gets her money reversed. Of course have to wait 3-5 days to show up. We don't know what the charges were for as she was the only one needing to pay and three games with shoes definitely doesn't amount to $62.18 +/-. I was going to give them another try until that additional unknown charges. **note--there were three people working for the whole place which from what I could tell there were two parties at the time of opening. Maybe people don't want to work at a bowling alley which is stupid because it's a job and money. Moral of the story don't schedule 3 people for a bowling alley on a Saturday...owners/top dogs get your butts in there and work for YOUR business. Guaranteed you're losing money. read more

I'm here to watch my cousin Bowl in a tournament they are lanes 39 & 40 they DO NOT have any tables or chairs to sit at behind the lanes to watch. I can't stand that long due to my foot surgery so this is NOT good. They should have ample seating for everyone. read more
