There are a lot of "entertainment centers" in the area that offer bowling but aren't *made* for bowling (i.e. the lanes aren't great, it's more expensive, etc.). This alley is a great option if you just want to bowl. They also have leagues and daily specials. Now, there is a bar -- but the drinks are super expensive. I'd stick to classic bowling alley fare, imo. read more

The staff were so nice and were able to accommodate us without much of a wait. There's plenty of lanes though every other one has tables reserved away from the lane which can be inconvenient. I forgot to take photos of the food but the flatbread was a good portion to snack on and the garlic fries were so good! We played 4 games, taking advantage of their play all night deal. read more

Came here for a birthday party. I haven't been here since I was a kid! Always fun to go bowling with friends and family! It's been a long while since I bowled, but I had a great time! This alley is a bit dated (as most are) with a nostalgic feel of somewhere between the late 80s and 90s. This location has a couple of small arcades with a handful of machines ranging from crane games to air hockey to a few more modern things like profit, men in Black, and The Walking Dead . They have the typical concession stand, set up with wings and burgers, fries, hotdogs, and typical appetizers. It's definitely giving an nostalgic feel throughout the whole building. It definitely feels like my childhood and it doesn't really seem like much has changed. read more

This is the closest AMF near our home my boyfriend and I do enjoy coming here especially on the days they have deals (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday). It's a local and affordable thing to do whenever we're looking to get out of the house. It does tend to get busy on the days they have their deals and it's no reservations. It's a first come first serve basis but the wait time tends to fly by since they're pretty great at dealing with crowds/crowd control. It's not the fanciest bowling alley but it is definitely affordable. The arcade has no more than 4-5 games btw. But that's expected due to it being a smaller AMF location. Overall not a bad spot if you're just looking to hangout for a bit and not hurt your pockets! They do have a bar and a concession stand but can't comment much on that since I haven't really tried much from their menu options. read more

I have to review this place on a few different items within the past few months. During Interstate League last month, I approached the manager(?) Tina, about a bad leak in the men's restroom, replied "We know, but we have other things to worry about." The leak was from the roof, and it was one of our good hard Florida rains. They did have the sign-up that says "Caution - Wet floor"; but the entire entrance to the men's side was covered in water, there was no way to walk around it, to get to the facilities. Second item, over the past two weeks, the A/C has either not worked, or they have it set to a temperature too high for cooling the alley. This week, it was so hot in there that numerous people were sweating and just waiting to start league play. Again, when I asked the manager(?) Tina, her response was, "It's on, we had it checked and they fixed it, so there's nothing I can do." Even though the ceiling fans were on, numerous ones were spinning in the wrong direction. In summer/hotter months, your ceiling fan blades should rotate counterclockwise. Also, I know of at least 3 of us, who stuck so badly to the approach, that we fell over the foul line. In addition, I heard from several other bowlers about how bad the lanes were getting, with all the heat. Here you have to pay for a glass of water? You go to other bowling facilities, not only in Orlando, but Sanford, Tavares, Oviedo, etc. and they give free water to customers by placing pitchers on the snack counter with cups, or they have a larger container on the counter with cups - FOR FREE! Finally, I heard through the grapevine that you are getting rid of some of your brands of liquor, with Jack Daniels being one of the brands. Well, I know for sure that you are selling a lot of Jack because you can't keep it in stock, so why get rid of it, it's a money-maker! Leagues are a big part of your income; you not only need to treat the bowlers with courtesy but also provide them with a great atmosphere to appreciate bowling in your center. Horribly expensive ‍ for my daughter and myself we had 6 games of bowling large fries 3 fountain drinks & it was $53 what the heck has happened with bowling. The place was literally empty on a Saturday and I think I know why. Whatever happened to this game being reasonably priced. Our lane had multiple breakdowns where we had to wait for someone in the back to repair before we could continue. The fountain machine was broke so they were giving u Pepsi out of 2-ltrs & they are tacking on a Covid admin fee ‍ I've never seen that before Anywhere. read more

Terrible bowling alley. First the smell, hits you when you walk in, you'll also get whiffs of something that smells like an electrical fire. The girl at the desk that helped us was beyond rude. I've never had someone so rude in a customer service role before. At one point our lane went completely black, we told them and it took about twenty minutes for them to address it only for them to move us to a different lane, didn't offer to extend or time or anything. Let me start by saying the only reason the rating isn't higher is due to the smell that was present for almost the entire time I was bowling. There was a CONSTANT burnt smell that gave me a headache, it was that strong. It smelled like something was burning in the kitchen... Cheap date night idea from my boyfriend, and we visit every Tuesday after 8pm with 2.88 games, tacos, and tall boys. Its definitely worth it. It can get busy, so you'll be lucky to grab a Lane on most days, and they even have cosmic bowl as well as an overwhelming variety of bowling balls for any preference you may have. It's not located in the best location (off of OBT), but inside it's a family friendly atmosphere with some of the nicest customer service folks you would encounter! read more

Went here for a charity bowl-a-thon with work mates. The shoes and bowling balls are kept clean as well as the seating area. Our group was about 15 people however there was not enough seating area in the lanes for us all. I ordered chicken bites and a water which cost approximately 11 bucks. Three server forgot about my order so I had to check back in with them, they ended up adding in some fries for the inconvenience. Great for families, they even have cosmic bowling! read more

I haven't been bowling in years so I was excited to go this past August when my husband and I flew back to Orlando for a weekend. It was time to catch up with some of our friends and have some good laughs and drinks together. We decided to go bowling. Isn't bowling one of the coolest ways to catch up and hang with friends? This bowling alley has been here for years. I would drive up and down OBT (Orange Blossom Trail) all the time and pass it on my way here and there. I never had a strong desire to go especially because it's in a not so friendly neighborhood. The night we went it was cool, not a lot of traffic, and we we were alone for quite some time before another party set up right next to us. The prices were reasonable. Even though we didn't pay because it was a treat from our friends, when I heard about the cost I was pleasantly surprised. We played four games for a group of eight. The games seemed like they lasted forever which added to the fun. The food was okay, nothing special. We ordered fries and wings. The beer was good but the mixed drinks were not, so we stuck with the beer and kept the rounds coming. Before you know it the battle was on and every man was for themselves. Bowling can create such friendly competition. I didn't do too bad for myself for having not played a game in years. If it's just to hang out and have a good time with friends I'f definitely visit again. read more

Haven't bowled in years, but had a great time with friends. Yes the location is a bit dated, however Tyler the General Manager made this place into a gem. A great attitude and smile to match greeted us the moment we walked in. Made the 4 of us feel comfortable and welcome. Customer service is a dying art, we all know this, but Tyler just made the experience special. Chicken fingers were better than what I get in most restaurants. Horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Customer service! Bought Groupons online... trying to check in was the worst. The guy at the register (with a pony tail) just seemed very spaced out. He told up he only had 2 lanes available that wasn't near each other... we agreed to play on those lanes. He turned around helped another guest THAT WAS ALREADY in a lane... moved them to another lane and never came back to finish our check in. As we are standing there the line starts to grow...NOW heres my "Favorite" part. The manager "Tina" comes up front and never greets us or anything. The left side of the lanes had some league members practicing and when they would walk up she told one lady in regard to having the Handicap on or what's not "LISTEN I HAVE OTHER THINGS GOING ON I CANT WORRY ABOUT THAT RIGHT NOW... like huh!!! She finally turns to get get us checked in after standing there no lie for 10 minutes. She in formed us the wait time was 30-min to a hour so we joined the waitlist. She said they would call us over the speaker. But since I had such a large group of overly excited kids we waited outside. After about 40 minutes we went back inside I asked her how long and if we would be able to hear the call outside. She said "Let me guess your Regina" we called you and you didn't come so we had to by pass you. You have to wait inside...I really wanted to curse her for the simple fact u watched me walk outside, you never disclosed that while I was standing infront of you..but I didn't because he co worker walked outside& because they seen us there we were RIGHT infront of the door. Anyways the list had grown since our arrival and I refuse to wait another 40 minutes so we left. The entire experience was horrible from atmosphere to customer service I purchased these Groupons and because this is the only AMF near my house I rather let the money go to waste. Amf REAL MANAGEMENT... you may need to retrain your team and specifically focus on customer service. PERSONAL OPINION ALSO WHAT SENSE DOES IT MAKE TO HAVE THE SMOKING AREA RIGHT INFRONT OF THE DOOR? Totally ripped off. Went to the website to make a reservation. Was charged $110 for 4 people bowling for the minimum. This was to include 2 hours of bowling with shoe rental. When we got here, I was not happy to find out the walk in price is only 6.95 per person per game. They were unwilling to work on the price in any way. The lanes were in decent shape temp was a little warm. Chairs are wooden school chair style chairs, not very comfortable. No tvs. Most alleys now have tvs for entertainment. The pro shop was open. Overall, I would look somewhere else. Nothing impressive here. read more

Kudos to AMF Sky Lanes!! They were great in arranging a big party of 50 people, we were totally satisfied. I was hoping for a decent preparation but the team, servers arranged a over the top party. Our group had mixed ages, kids, adults and everyone was served well. Team took care of managing their shoes (all sizes), lanes. We even asked for an extra lane next to our group which was made available as well. Now, to the food- great and served hot. Wings, fries, spring rolls, hummus & pita breads, chips & salsa and fresh pizzas. Food was served at different times per our ask. We had a separate area for eating, seating and play, all next to our lanes. And finally brownies with strawberry and ice cream. They were yumm :) Our party was a great hit, everyone enjoyed their time. I recommend AMF Sky lanes to everyone. I will come back again! read more

This is an awesome place! I joined a bowling league through my job. We would meet up every Wednesday for tournaments. At first I just joined to be a good sport about it. I am not like an expert bowler, but I am fine with that. The bowling alley had great music to keep us going. The games, shoes, and bowling ball were included (thanks to the great company that I work for). One of the staff members even gave me a brand new pair of socks when I left my pair at home. All the staff was very friendly. This place is stocked with a full service bar which is very reasonable. I didn't order a lot of food; however, they do have hot food you could order if you're hungry. Unfortunately the bowling league is over, but I am anxiously waiting for next year's bowling league. In the mean time I will be coming over to AMF Sky Lanes to brush up on my skills. read more

Service sucks and they change prices whenever they randomly want to even the employees stated it was a rip off but that's what their boss told them they had to do that day. Don't recommend coming the few time we did go the lanes would get stuck and mess up. read more

1. The lanes are wood and not synthetic lames! 2. The bowl returns and pin racks are completely out of date. They are constantly breaking down. 3. Their computer system for scoring is inefficient. 4. There is never any free lanes during the week because of league nights. However, the food is delicious, but the a pitcher of beer is a bit pricey. read more

They need security outside the building. Before we got out of the car, homeless people were waiting for us to ask for money. When I went outside to smoke later, they were waiting to again ask for money. Then took out of the ashtray. Did not feel safe there, and would never stay after dark. Lanes were very oily, not much seating for large parties, staff was not helpfull and slow to great you at the door. read more

I have been coming to this bowling alley several years for my bowling league. To start off, most of the employees I have encountered are great. There is a lady that works at the concession stand and she is awesome!! As long as you are good to people they will be good back to you! The dude at the bar is awesome great, I didn't drink much during the season, but the last night I did and he was awesome! On to other things.... some nights we would show up and the line would be super long to just pick up our shoes. Maybe have someone help the people that you know are just there to pick up the shoes. Also, some lanes are super old and ALWAYS mess up. One night we were the last team there because the lane we were on (one of the ones all the way to the right) kept messing up. So we kept having to call.... and it would take almost 15-20 minutes to have a issue fixed. I will be back for more bowling with our league! read more

Been coming here since 2005. AMF has get me down. First the bartender was making a big fuzz about buying 2 pitchers. That we have to show id of everyone's in the party. Ok so I went and got everyone to bring up their ids and then the bartender didn't want to give us 5 cups for the pitchers. We show him 5 ids for 5cups. He told us he can only give 4 because because I wanted to enjoy a bottled drink before moving in to the pitcher. So until I didn't finish the bottled bar I could have a cup. This place is dead. For a reason. Being that it's Saturday they are advertising that they close at 1am. However the light came in at 12:15pm, giving their few customers the hint to get out. $34.31 in drinks and $68 in a game gone to waste. read more

Came here for a work function today and where do I start? There were about 45-50 of us, and there were problems from the moment we got there. Staff was unprofessional, not trained, and took them 10 minutes to ring up a drink order! Took them another 10 to actually make the drinks because no one there was a bartender; yet, they have a bar? The food was ready, but when 45 adults are coming to bowl and tell the venue that we will be drinking, and nothing in the bar is set up or prepared - you're going to have some irate guests. Lanes were OK and we didn't have any problems bowling, but all in all might look for a new venue next year. They really need to get their act together to handle larger groups, and hire a bartender already! read more
