The explanation was that we did not place anything down to hold the car which was never communicated to us. They suggested a different car. Giving them the benefit of the doubt we ended up purchasing that car. Within two weeks the car check engine light came on along with the oil light. The car was stalling out mid drive and the car was making rattling noises. We were told the car engine was under warranty for 30 days and that the car was given a brand new oil change at purchase. I took the car back and they "fixed" the engine and gave it an oil change AGAIN. After another two weeks the car engine light came on again and the car stalled out on the highway while my mom was driving it. I reached back out only to be told I can't call back every time there is an issue with the car. These people do business in bad faith. We were better off keeping the original car. I suggest you do not do business with these people.

VIPRE is a good place to buy a used auto, but a bad place to get it repaired. In one instance, they charged me $1,200 to replace ONE headlight, and they didn't even fix it correctly- I had to bring it back in because the mechanic hadn't replaced the "igniter". The other headlight went out 2 months later, so I took it to a recommended moonlighter mechanic- he fixed the set-up without fuss for $200, and a year later it's still running strong. I really don't think Shamit and crew are intentionally trying to rip customers off, I just think there's a disconnect between the management and the repair side of the business. And, if you get caught up in that "disconnect", it will cost you thousands of dollars. Shamit has never fixed this issue, so beware to the car owner looking to get a repair. Needless to say, my next used car will probably be purchased at VIPRE, but my repairs will be going elsewhere. Three stars: good cars, bad repair service.

I bought my 2024 Honda CRV 3 years ago and absolutely love my car. I take it in for maintenance regularly and if something shows up in the "yellow" it is remediated. So imagine my surprise last week when i got a call from my Service Manager, Stephen, who informed me that my rotors were "weathered" and my tires were bad. I played the dumb woman routine and asked those all important questions. "Will you need to replace my brake pads?" Stephen said no, they were fine and could be installed back on the machined rotors. Then he said the tires were balding and not in good shape and needed to be replaced. Overall cost was gonna end up around $2K+ for that work. That is all he was able to say, because at that point I cut him off and said, "I DON'T BELIEVE A explexitive WORD YOU SAID!" Why, you ask? Well anyone who knows anything about a car would tell you if the rotors needs to be machined/replaced, you put on new brake shoes. The tires were replaced 10 months ago because I wanted a better thread tire than the standard stock put on. So I called their bluff. I picked up my car, did a PM check on it and scheduled an appointment with a TRUSTED certified mechanic the next week. Guess what was found???? Nothing wrong with the brakes, rotors, calibers, coolant system, or any other system within my car. In fact, I was told the car is in extremely good shape and if they wanted to be picky, they would need to replace my rear differential fluid, which I gave the go ahead for. I have a serious problem when someone tries to pull the "It's a woman and she won't know any better so let's fleece her routine." I called Stephen out in person and I can tell you if you want a car, keep rolling down the road. Very disappointed and frustrated and disenchanted that this happened but more disappointed that OURISMAN HONDA is not trustworthy.

Before finding Caribbean Auto Sales, my son and I reviewed ads from Craigslist and test drove many cars - but we always got hung up over car inspections and wanted to have the car pass inspection before we purchased a car. Finally, one of the ads on craigslist led me to Silviu at Carribean Auto Sales. The car was exactly what we wanted and they worked within my son's budget. They were able to deliver on everything the promised: new timing belt, limited warrantees, and tags & title paperwork done on premises. Now, we just have to wait for the official title from MVA - but it was really nice not to have to go to MVA in person!
