What a fabulous little spot! Located in little Italy on a patio with sunshades... next to a dog park. I did have to pay for street parking and you can smell the dog park.... (hence the 4 stars). But the coffee and service was great! Had a yummy latte with good coffee. The batiste was nice. And so were the patrons who talked the place up while I was in line. Would come back!

CONVENIENCE! (4 Stars) I love how this place is nestled between the big and small Little Italy Dog park. It's kind of hidden and tucked to the side and then they set up an outside section for those at the dog park to order. It's the perfect place to do Saturday Farmers Market shopping, buy pastries, and sit at the little dog park sipping a latte as my dog plays. However the price was bit pricy for taste and quality. Nothing special with my order of "decaf, caramel latte, with whole milk" for a whopping $7. I paid for convenience. Also the drink came piping hot, not even the sleeve protected my hands from feeling the heat.

New Name (was Caffe Caritazza), same cute HIDDEN GEM within Amici Dog Park. Come before their seasonal special, PEPPERMINT MOCHA, disappears! It's the perfect blend of espresso, cocoa, peppermint, and milk! Excellent service (by Matt), quiet tranquil setting under the trees, with sweet & savory treats, drinks, and even Italian goodies to purchase inside this historic house. Truly love everything about this place, except for the hours. They're open Thursday through Sunday, 7am to 2pm. My gripe is that they aren't open in the evenings with string lights and heating lamps, but that's my own selfish side wanting this to feel like my own backyard in the bustling downtown concrete jungle. Please come and keep this non-profit in business!!! It's a haven!

Blood orange lavender tea very light and refreshing. I love how it's just an open space located next to the farmers market service was OK but I'm assuming because they were getting ready to close.p

It's located at the park entrance next to a dog park and a few steps from a Catholic Church. I believe they share parking for mass on sunday. I got the shaken iced coffee and it was absolutely delicious. I believe their proceeds go to to a beneficial organization. The staff were kind and friendly and my drink came out fast! I would highly highly recommend!!

Vanilla latte and a warmed up cheese danish. Coffee is very good and the cheese danish definitely hit the spot.

Very ample and comfortable seating, ambulances nice especially early in the morning. Service is phenomenal, attention to detail with out having to ask is always a nice touch. Best cheese danish it hit the spot and the coffee is extremely good . This is definitely a place for dog enthusiast the fact that it's backed up against the dog park and you can get your cup of coffee as your dog is running around is always a nice thing .

I found this cute coffee shop while walking through Little Italy and have made it a go to spot whenever I'm downtown. Today, I tried the Teaña Colada and the apple strudel. On a 70 degree Saturday, this cold brew tea with two pumps of pineapple and a coconut cold foam was ultra refreshing. It's not super sweet which is great for a person like me that drinks lightly or unsweetened tea on a regular basis. The pineapple is subtle so it definitely has more of a nutty flavor thanks to the coconut. Definitely a drink to grab on the way to the nearby harbor or if you're just looking for a tea drink with a tropical summer taste. The price point is fair flying under or around $12 for a drink and pastry item and the staff are always accommodating and friendly. Shoutout to Diane and Matt! Another plus, is it's next to a dog park and a gift shop so if you love pets and artisan gifts there's even more reason to check them out.

    Great little cozy spot

Very mellow and a great pocket of little italy to just relax in. I will definitely go back in the future during the farmers market.

Friendly staff, conveniently located in the dog park, and great service. Can order while you watch your dog!

Vanilla iced latte. Perfect blend of expresso. Almond milk, they have more options.

Coffee is good + guys at the table are funny so bring your dark humor. Everyone here has their coffee I'm surprised they don't have more reviews. Also there are pastries and tables everywhere. Bring your pup, your laptop + hotspot because this is a perfect work/school environment coffee park, whatever that means lol

Instead, it's a lively tribute to San Diego Comic‑Con itself--its history, its fandoms, and the creative worlds it celebrates. The bottom floor had three exhibits during my visit. The San Diego Comic‑Con history exhibit was surprisingly charming, with official programs, sketches, and memorabilia from each convention over the years. There was also a Luann exhibit (not a strip I'm familiar with, but fans will appreciate it), and a cosplay exhibit featuring some impressive costumes. The standout for me was the Warhammer 40K armor--incredible craftsmanship. The second floor is entirely dedicated to Doctor Who, and it's a treat for fans. Lots of interactive elements, costumes, figures, props, and of course, a full lineup of sonic screwdrivers. I also appreciated the educational videos that break down the real science behind the show's concepts. It's playful and surprisingly informative. The top floor shifts gears with a Lucha Libre exhibit, showcasing vibrant costumes and posters. There's also an education center and a kids' activity room, which makes the museum feel family‑friendly and accessible. But the absolute highlight for me was right at the entrance: the Batman #423 statue. It's a stunning piece, and the story behind how it ended up on loan to the museum made it even better. Overall, this museum shines when you approach it as a celebration of fandom rather than a traditional artifact‑driven museum. If you love Comic‑Con culture, cosplay, or specific fandoms like Doctor Who, you'll have a great time.

The fee for the lesson and party is $15, for party only - $10. The announcement (https://www.queenbeessd.com/swign-dance) places the lesson at 6:30-7:30PM, the dance with DJ music is supposed to start at 7:30PM. On the day of my visit, the times were shifted by half an hour, so if you want to just dance, 8PM is the good time. The dance lesson by Mercedes Moore (yes, the great San Diego singer!) is excellent, most of the 20+ dancers appeared to be regulars and thus had accumulated significant amount of skill, yet due to small size of group, a true beginner should feel OK. Unlike most places in San Diego, this one has noticeably more leads (traditionally men) than follows (women), so this venue might be great for a true beginner follower. During the social party few more dancers appeared, but the group remained pretty small, and by 9PM it became hard to find a dance partner (the music was still going on). Some logistics: the free (street) parking is very limited. The best paid parking is across the street in a well-lit parking lot ($5 for two hours). The wooden floor is of OK quality, the seating is adequate for the small crowd. As always for small gatherings, bringing one's own dance partner is recommended, although on the day I have visited, it was easy for follows to find a lead. Overall: a true beginner follow should definitely check out this venue. An intermediate lead that wants just to dance, should consider bringing his own follower.

Food orders must be made on a mobile app prior to going into the theatre for the show, then they are able to pick up their orders at intermission.
