Got to enjoy Spill the Beans in Seaport Village for the first time!!! Location: *At beautiful Seaport Village in Downtown with gorgeous waterfront views! *About a 20-minute walk from where I was staying. The directions with the address given got me lost, but with a quick scenic detour I was able to locate it. In hindsight it forced me to wander around Seaport Village, which I hadn't visited in years. Ambiance: *Beautiful weather, blue skies, and a very windy San Diego afternoon *Surprisingly uncrowded for a Saturday around 130-2pm. *Plenty of outdoor seating *Bonus points for relaxing views of the Coronado Bridge and waterfront. *Perfect spot to sit, sip, and eat while appreciating the San Diego views! Customer Service: *Excellent customer service from start to finish! *The employee taking my order was patient and helpful when explaining the vegan options! *Service was quick and efficient despite a small line. *Special shout-out to the gentleman who noticed I was still sitting there waiting and informed me that my order had already been ready for pick-up. LOL I didn't even notice the pick-up window! OY! I'm such a noobs! Food and Drink order: *Garlic and onion bagel (vegan) with vegan cream cheese (YAY!), arugula, tomatoes, and red onions - savory, fresh, and delicious but I do wish the bagel was toasted a bit more. I like mine crispy! The vegan cream cheese was surprisingly good. I wish I had asked what brand they use. *I appreciate that they offer vegan options - just make sure to ask which bagels are vegan. Luckily, I snagged the last one. Their bagels sell out fast especially their special flavors! *My iced matcha latte with almond milk was made 50% sweetness, which was perfect. As someone who has gotten into matcha lately, I was very happy with the flavor. It wasn't overly sweet and allowed the matcha flavor to shine. Final Thoughts: Between the scenery, friendly staff, delicious bagel, and perfectly balanced matcha latte, I had a wonderful afternoon. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Super solid experience here. Don't let the long line intimidate you because it moves surprisingly fast. They even open additional iPads as registers when it gets busy, so the wait isn't bad at all. Being right by the water gives you a great view while you enjoy your food, making it a perfect spot for a quick bite and some people-watching if you're visiting San Diego. Now onto the bagels... wow, they definitely get the SMEAR right. I believe all of their bagels and cream cheeses are made in house, and you can absolutely taste the difference. If you're a garlic or onion lover, the onion cream cheese is a must-try. Everything came out quickly, even during the rush. Pro Tip: Someone recommended ordering the drinks at 50% sweetness, and THANK YOU. That was the perfect balance for me. Any sweeter would have been too much. The best part is they'll customize the sweetness level to your preference.

The coffee here is good, but the real reason we come is the bagels. Delicious bagels with a huge SCHMEAR of cream cheese, and they have a big variety of cream cheese flavors to choose from. The bagel sandwiches are also killer, my personal favorite: the Lox, Stock, and Loaded. Nova Lox type sandwich loaded with plenty of smoked salmon. Definitely a must try place for an excellent bagel breakfast.

Am I the only one that heard the theme song from Kim Possible when they see item Basic Sitch on the menu?! I know I can't be the only one because I heard it loud and clear the moment I read it. I always stop by this place since I discovered it last year when I visited Seaport Village. The last time I was here, I was barely getting introduced to coffee and had my usual (iced vanilla latte with oat milk) but I like to try something on the menu when I find a cute little place while exploring. I'm glad I stuck to that because Basic Sitch was DELICIOUS, I wish I had gotten a medium. Props to the guy at the register because I kept going back and forth attempting to order but while waiting for family to join me and trying to get my smaller kiddos to calm down, I was everywhere and he was very patient once I finally went up to order. He was friendly and polite. Perfect weather to enjoy an iced coffee for the long drive back home.

I always stop by here whenever I'm around Seaport, and this visit was no exception! This time, I came with my husband and our little dog on a Sunday. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The woman who took our order was so friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. I ordered a plain bagel with ube cream cheese, and it was an easy 10/10--so delicious! I also got the cinnamon honey latte with oat milk, which was really good and gets an 8/10 from me. My husband ordered a chai with oat milk and two decaf shots, and he gave it an 8/10 as well. We were lucky enough to grab a small table, and it was the perfect spot to sit, relax, and people-watch. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to come back!

When in Seaport Village along the water in San Diego, Spill the Beans is the hot spot for coffee. I'm ngl, they pulled me in with their pothead vibes haha! They have a cute theme of supporting us ganja folks and I love all the cute sayings around the outside of the shop. Instagram friendly photos for days! I also liked that they had a Chaga Cold Brew for $8.25. I appreciate a more natural kinda morning high in my morning caffeination. It was delish and huge! My friend and I also shared the McLovin ($13) breakfast sandwich which was so packed with ingredients, there was no way it couldn't be tasty. Scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage patties, cheddar cheese and maple butter made for such an indulgent, protein packed breakfast. Loved the food and vibes at Spill the Beans! I'll absolutely pop in again next time I'm in Seaport Village!

"Dang that bagel was GAS!" Is exactly what your reaction would be if you tried out Spill the Beans. I particularly like this location at Seaport Village since you get to enjoy the wonderful foods, drinks, and view. The shop is so cute and has a good amount of seating around it. I particularly enjoyed the area near the pick-up area where you can sit and eat and had a nice view of the boats and water. When we arrived, we were greeted by Riley who I gave my full faith in for my order. She chose my drink (Cinna-Bee) and my bagel (Serrano, Habanero & Jack Cheese Bagel with Shallot & Chive Cream Cheese). Truly phenomenal. Both were sooo good. The bagel had the perfect amount of spice to it and looked at how decked on the cream cheese was. Really doesn't get better than this. Riley was so incredibly sweet in taking our order and giving us recommendations on what's good and what was a must try. We ordered a San Dieggo sando and just look at how it looked. The taste was even better than the picture. Sabrina gave us our order (I believe she made the Sando and Bagel) and was super nice! Honestly the service here was such a wonderful cherry on top for the already fantastic foods. Really awesome shop to dine at and I honestly will be coming back more often. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 11/10 Menu: 10/10 Shop Vibes: 10/10 Price to Overall Dining (POD): 10/10

Perfect way to start the day at Spill The Beans Coffee and Bagels in Seaport Village. Great coffee, an awesome San Diego bagel, and unbeatable waterfront views. Simple, fresh, and definitely worth the stop.

While in Seaport Village in San Diego, i found Spill the beans coffee along the boardwalk. It was super busy with a long line to order, but it was worth the time. Service was fast for my Iced Latte and it tasted great! Lots of outside seating with ocean view.

STILL SUPREME! Spill the Beans continues to be one of my favorite coffee spots, certainly my favorite in Downtown. I stopped by for an iced La Vida Mocha during my walk and the coffee was superb. I highly recommend this treat, it's great with oat milk! The drink comes with rich, authentic chocolate. Service was quick and pretty friendly. I waited less than 5 mins for my order on a slow midweek afternoon. The music played at this location is ICONIC. They're still rocking Kim Petras. I love the laidback vibes and stool seating offering views of the marina. I STILL stop by Spill the Beans even when I'm busy during Comic Con season. During, my visit a few days ago. I spotted cute merch, like a corduroy hat and neat shirt with the coffee pot mascot.

The line was long but moved very fast. I really enjoyed the iced blondie mocha! It was creamy, and the perfect espresso to milk ratio (not too watery or sweet).

Spill the Beans has completely ruined every other coffee shop for me…read more I'm here every single morning, and there's a reason. The bagels are larger, fluffier, and have this perfect subtle sweetness -- rumor has it they're boiled in agave syrup, and honestly, it shows. The rotating selection keeps it fresh enough that I genuinely look forward to switching it up. Then there's the Basic Sitch -- don't let the name fool you. Best Caramel Macchiato I've had anywhere. I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.

There were still lots of people having brunch and enjoying their bagels. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bagel on a jalapeno cheese bagel. The bread itself was crunchy and soft, if that makes any sense. This was delicious and even better when you add some hot sauce to it. The hubs got the pizza bagel on a plain bagel and this wasn't so exciting. It had pepperoni and a good amount of it but we weren't too impressed with it. The Jersey Girl was good too. We appreciated the Taylor ham and finally glad we were able to try this. It's almost like spam but not as salty. This was on a plain bagel as well. I would get this again, as well as the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. We also ordered the lox and dill cream cheese to take home and ordered a jalapeno cheese, Asiago, plain, salt and two cinnamon raisin. All bagels need to be toasted. The cinnamon raisin was a nice treat, not too sweet but wishing it did have sugar on it. The lox and dill cream cheese was so so so so so good with all the other bagels we got. You can definitely taste and see all the lox and dill in the cream cheese. I would order all these again. It was just so so good. The place is also cute and the staff are super friendly. I ordered the Serrano Jalapeño Jack Cheese Bagel with chive shallot cream cheese, along with the Iced Cinna Bee. The bagel was absolutely overloaded with cream cheese. Because it was served hot, the cream cheese melted and was literally dripping everywhere, making it a complete mess to eat. Then I bit into it and found a thick slice of cold, raw tomato inside. Who puts a cold raw tomato on a hot bagel loaded with warm cream cheese? The combination was disgusting and completely threw off the flavor. The Iced Cinna Bee, which I was told is one of their most popular drinks, was just as disappointing. It was bland, barely sweetened, and the cinnamon completely overpowered the coffee. It was honestly gross, and I couldn't finish it. To make matters worse, I waited over 20 minutes for my order. Parking was also a hassle since I had to park on the street. The only reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 are because the staff was friendly and the café has potential. Unfortunately, the food, coffee, and long wait made this a disappointing experience. I don't see myself coming back.
