Pretty good coffee spot! I need to come back and try a different coffee. I got BB Code and it was a bit too sweet for my liking. My sister got Koko and it also wasn't my favorite. Definitely some unique flavors that others would enjoy! You order at the counter which is easy, and inside is a cute spot to hang out or study. I'll be coming back to try more flavors!

The latte and the in-house made pastries are to die for here! I got their salted caramel latte which comes with their house made sauce and their pastries. The iced latte was well balanced with the milk, ice, espresso, and sauce. It wasn't overly sweet. For the pasties, probably the best pasties I've had in a long time. The hazelnut bun was soft and flaky. Melted in your mouth! The pumpkin churro tasted more like churro than pumpkin but the bread pudding consistency made it so freaking good. Highly recommend this spot but just a notice, there seems to be a long line both times we came here.

Forum Coffee is my go to local coffee spot. They always have such fun and unique coffee and tea drinks to choose from, and I love that they have a seasonal menu so there's always something new to try. My personal favorites are their matchas and the house blue chai latte. Their pastries are also so delicious. They are usually busy, but the line moves fast and the service is always quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

The first time here- and service was really friendly and the atmosphere is nice to enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with friends and work. The coffee is a little on the milder side for my taste but worth a visit if in the area and craving coffee. The pastry flavors looked interesting but I didn't try any on this trip.

Their passion fruit buns are exceptional! Opt to have it warmed up. I also ordered the Dreamer because I'm a chai latte person. It's was ok. It's definitely different from your average chai and it's the sweeter side. They seem to have a lot of drink options. The inside had a decent amount of tables and looked like a great place to work for a few hours on a laptop. The baristas seemed very nice.

    Hojicha
    Fletcher D.

Was desperate for a Hojicha, hard to find around the La Jolla area. Saw Forum had it so made the trek. The drink, first time I've had a Hojicha I wasn't impressed with, just tasted mostly like the almond milk. I had them go light with the maple syrup, but either they skipped it or went too light. I got a large (iced), maybe all the ratios are better in the smaller size. They have a few baked goods but nothing looked worth the carbs and sugar. Place was pretty busy, kind of a different vibe, not as 'zen', more fast food feel. Not a big deal. Service was mid, no one seemed too excited to see me lol, but not terrible. Parking is easy. Maybe their other drinks are better, but I'll keep on the lookout for a better place to get my Hojicha!

    BB Code

Got the BB Code after a recommendation from the barista. The banana flavor was very subtle, but still prominent, which I enjoyed. It gives off a similar taste to drinking a latte with oat milk. In my search for new study spots, this will definitely be on my return list. There are many seats with outlets as well as complementary wifi. It's also very cozy with cushioned seats or big tables to work at. Parking is also very easy with a lot in the front and back, which is rare for a place near Convoy.

Order was placed ahead of time and it was ready upon arrival. I picked this cafe because it was conveniently located near the supercharger. The service wasn't friendly or anything. Zero acknowledgement whatsoever. The inside of the cafe was dimly lit with some spots to sit down and do work or homework of sort. Lots of young people sitting inside and outside. The drinks come with IT and comsci related lingos. Neither of the drinks I ordered tasted good. The London Fog was watery and stale. The coffee drink had no caramel or sweetener of any sort. Much preferred drinking McDonalds iced coffee because of the taste. The scone was stale and rock hard. The quality of the food and drinks were terrible in my opinion. Unless I'm charging my car in the same shopping center again, I am not returning. I think the place is overhyped and overrated.

Overall I would say not worth it for the price, maybe a good place to study. Coffee quality/taste: for $8.35 I would expect much better. The latte is very watered down and just tasted pretty mid. Service: I try not to read into service too much, I want to be understanding but it was clear my partner and I received un-even service compared to other patrons. The attitude and tone of the barista changed from customer to customer. Our name was never called for the drink while others always were so we waited for a long time not knowing it was ready.

Such unique drinks and comfy chairs! Ample seating as well as seating options - chairs with tables, comfy lounge chairs, and indoor as well as outdoor seating. I got a cherry blossom strawberry hojicha latte which was so good. They even let me try the cherry blossom foam first which was really nice to make sure I would like it. I don't see hojicha lattes often so loved trying it! Super unique and my friend's pistachio latte was delightful too!

Stopped by this coffee shop when I was driving through. Got recommended the BB code banana milk one by the barista after I couldn't decide from all the great sounding drinks. The drink was good but nothing great, kinda wish the banana flavor came out more. I might try something else next time and give it another shot. Barista was nice though and asked me what I typically go for. The inside layout was not really anything special. Felt almost like food court seating inside and there was hardly anywhere to sit especially if you're solo because each table so close to each other. Felt like the place could use a little more ambiance truthfully. I'd come back here to grab a quick coffee to go but probably wouldn't come here to do work or lounge around.

The drinks here are amazing. The only thing that surpasses it is their service. The people are friendly, professional, and it really has a welcoming environment. I am so in love with their cold brew! A definite hot spot for coffee.

OVERVIEW Come for the equally balanced, delicious coffee AND matcha drinks; the spacious work setting; the side entertainment (like a free bookshelf + camp chairs outside), and incredible ownership. Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. You make it so easy to feel welcomed, and I'll forever be grateful for you :)
