Pistachio honey iced latte and aloha iced latte both with oat milk.
    Liz N.

I needed a 2pm pick-me-up and this coffee spot seriously delivered. The two girls working were so kind and welcoming, it made the whole experience even better. The space is huge, super clean, and they've got a big menu with lots of options. Perfect place to hang out or recharge for a bit. We ordered the Aloha iced latte and the pistachio honey latte and OMG... both were just perfect. The Aloha latte was refreshing with tropical notes- smooth, slightly sweet, and super easy to sip. The pistachio honey latte was rich, with that nutty pistachio flavor coming through strong, balanced by a natural honey sweetness. The location is super convenient, right next to the Santa Fe trolley stop and Coaster station, which makes it an easy stop whether you're commuting or just exploring. Definitely coming back!

Favorite place for coffee! The aloha late is a must so delicious! Place is easy to find with parking nearby. Services is fast, I think it's because the know us already

Such a cute little coffee shop! The ladies here are really sweet and helpful when I asked questions. I wanted to try the aloha latte and went with the cinnamon roll latte w/regular milk (a seasonal drink) instead. I asked for 50% sweet and my, that drink was still way too sweet. Just FYI: A large latte is ~$9-10. The cinnamon roll didn't really taste too cinnamon-y but it also didn't give me the that "cinnamon roll" flavor. I would go back to try the aloha since it's a unique item on their menu. I did appreciate that the hot latte was served at an already drinkable temperature. If you like it really hot, might have to ask. We love a spot that supports the community! Even in a small way as having a little bulletin board is so special. This shop is very spacious and a perfect place to get some work done, vibe out, and enjoy a brew.

I haven't found a good coffee shop in a while, and my dry spell is finally over. Walking in on a rare rainy Saturday morning in downtown SD and the vibes are just right. It's clean, open, not too busy (which I'm sure on a weekday would be a different story), It's chill. The music's atmosphere and volume have the place overall relaxed and I'm happy to just sit and people watch. I could spend an hour or two just enjoying. The staff are great. Very good service as other people have mentioned. I'd love to say more but that's just it, they are friendly and make the place welcoming. I got the iced Aloha latte and it was what I've been looking for. A nice balance of not too sweet and not just bitter. The coconut and macadamia come out nicely and you can actually taste them. Thank you!

Amazing coffee shop, clean, lots of room. Not pushy. People that work here are very nice. Had the best coffee that I had in a long time. They have tons to choose from and lots of food items to choose from. I highly recommend.

Delicious coffee, and grape place with wonderful outdoor and indoor sitting area. But what I love the most was the Service, the girl ( Helena) who made my coffee was extremely nice. And I noticed that she was nice with everyone, there was this lady with a problem with her leg so she made sure she brought her the food and the drink drinks to her table, I thought that was so nice! We need more people like that in the world and I'm very grateful that I had two wonderful working hours, delicious coffee, and a great vibe!

I stopped in here after a run with my little one, having previously looked at the menu. The space is nice and would be great to have a meeting or work in. The outdoor patio is nice, and enclosed so my toddler had some space to move, while I could enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. I got an iced raspberry latte, which was so sweet I could barely drink it. I think the coffee has good flavor but I couldn't tell from all the raspberry. I do love the cups and the lids- no annoying lip that makes you need a straw. I ordered my daughter the oatmeal and I got myself the nutty açaí bowl. My daughter did not like her oatmeal, which was surprising to me, but when I tried it it was so bland- it had no flavor or sweetness- I couldn't even eat it. My açaí bowl was delicious and filling, but the açaí was practically frozen so I couldn't really mix the bowl up- if it weren't so hard it would've been perfect. If I ever come back to SD I may give it another shot, but not while on this trip.

Great drinks and food looks good too. I've had their horchata latte and honey/pistachio so far and both . Service good. Atmosphere spacious w/ plenty of outlets to charge. Soft music, not overly loud or obstructive, so good vibes to work

Coffee is fine. Breakfast sandwich is terrible. In fairness, the sourdough bread was tasty. The egg was so dry. I assume they microwaved it. Staff is friendly, good location, plenty of seating. Just grab your coffee bit skip the food.

I love how spacious this spot is! There's a spot for everyone: front patio, window watching, tables for 2, couch, & communal table. There was only two workers, but they were kind and fast working. I ordered the Iced Aloha Latte with regular milk, ~$6. It consisted of macadamia nut syrup, coconut powder, espresso, and milk. It was pretty sweet, like drinking liquid sugar. I wish that they cut back on the coconut powder (I think it comes sweetened!), less milk. The macadamia nut syrup tasted very light because the coconut powder drowned it out with the sweetness. I think the macadamia syrup could be really delicious with the espresso if it was better balanced! I did enjoy that coconut flavor though! For a specialty latte this was priced pretty nicely! My friend had the Cinnamon & Honey Latte (hot) with alternative milk. He enjoyed it! I would come again, but ask for less sweet next time. They also had pastries, smoothies, etc. So, I'll be sure to check it out in the future. I recommend this spot on Broadway!

I ended up here on accident since the cafe I had mapped to was closed --- but I'm so glad I got rerouted! This cafe is a great place to sit and catch up with friends, work remotely, and grab a coffee/meal! They have a wide variety of coffees, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches, etc. I got their specialty Salted Caramel Latte and it was amazing! It tasted a lot like butterscotch (which they told me it would) and I drank it so quick since it was just the kick I needed this morning. I also got a croissant which was a good pair with my coffee. I'd highly recommend this place with the good menu, food, and the super friendly staff.

Recently tried Coffee N Talk while visiting San Diego on a work trip. The coffee was great, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The cafe is cute and has a nice ambiance. The workers who were working were so sweet and made sure to ask us many questions to get our orders just right. I totally spaced and forgot to get pictures of my coffee or food, because I just dug right in. I had the Avocado Toast (it was insanely delicious) and an Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte (also very tasty). Definitely recommend!

I love their almond croissants, They only make A small batch I want to say like 3 daily so they are always sold out. If you get there early enough you should try it. The space is really big, staff is nice and I they have a reward system. The points do expire so pay attention of that. But this is my go to local coffee spot

This time I came back for the matcha as part of my self-appointed mission to try every matcha einspanner I can find. It's healthy because it's green. The verdict? This one definitely earned a spot near the top of my list. The matcha is a little on the sweet side, which was a treat for me. The sweetness is offset by the creamy topping that had a hint of saltiness. Definitely different from the others i've tried! Bonus points for the easy parking! No circling the lot questioning my life choices before getting caffeine. I'll definitely be back to continue my very serious and highly scientific Matcha Einspanner research.

Many of the drinks are themed around computer programming with names like "C++" and "Debugger". The whimsical nature of the naming is rather appealing and cute. The atmosphere here is casual and relaxed which is perfect for those needing a chill place to study or kick back. Service was quick and efficient. The staff members also were friendly and positive in mood. I ordered their batch brew coffee which was illustrated as using Guatemala beans that provided "chocolate, nutty, caramel, and citrusy" notes. I didn't quite taste the first three aforementioned notes, but the citrusy, sour note was there along with bitter notes. I've been here before and I much prefer their lattes such as the Troubleshooter and Debugger. Those are exceptionally enjoyable drinks to me. I would rate the batch brew a 3/5 but I'd rate the two aforementioned lattes around a 4.5/5. Overall, it's best to enjoy the specialty drinks here and inundate yourself with sweet caffeine to focus on studying for your upcoming test or completing your project that's about to be due.
