I've gone here a few times and the last visit was the last. I went in for a pedicure and the woman that did them was terrible. Everything I asked her not to do, she did any way. Every tool I asked her not to use, she used. I have a toe injury that is covered with a bandage and I asked her to leave it alone and she took it off anyway. She hurt me and this wouldn't have occurred if she had just listened to me. The same woman did my gel nails. She kept insisting I had powder nails which I DID NOT. She kept trying to take the polish off with acetone which anyone with gel nails knows you can't do. She finally finished the nails which are supposed to last 2 or 3 weeks. (The last salon I went to last 4 weeks!) 24 hours later and the three nails on one hand had chipped. In 24 hours! Never, ever again. I'll pay more and just go somewhere with qualified nail techs. (Note: this woman that did my nails has done them nearly every time and she is rude and a terrible tech. Maybe the other girls are better but I won't be going back). read more

Out of the many nail salons in bay ridge this is by far the worse experience I've had. I was cut 4 times during the pedicure, the exfoliate was left on my legs, my toe nail ended up looking crooked, and worse of all the lady messed up painting my toes a few times so she had to use the acetone to remove the polish which kept getting into my cuts. read more

This was my first visit here and I think it will be my last as well. They also need to invest in some air ventilation there's no fresh air circulating in there. . My sister in law and I walked in and we had to wait until we were able to get our nails painted. There was only two main woman who was doing the nails the other ones were there learning how to do nails. I did not like how they did my nails they cut my cuticles about three times, they didn't understand what I saying to them . They shaved down my nails and did round them. The prices were outrageously expensive, the gel nails was 30$ which I thought was pretty expensive. The gel nails didn't even last for 2 weeks it only lasted for about a week in a half until they started chipping and then the color started coming off . I would not recommend this place to anyone . read more

Terrible service, I m never ever come back again. Do you believe they charge you 18 dollars just for soak off UV Abel polish!!!! I ask lady why is 18 dollars, the board over there is gel soak off was 8 dollars!she said because you cut the nails. Excuse me ??? Cut nails only 3 dollars extra. Only place where a simple manicure will last 6 to 7 days. Some salon focus too much care on fake nails. Price is right and they give you bottom coat two color coats and top coat and they don't rush you out the door. Nice employees. They don't rob you. The only record is to upgrade the interior... They do an excellent job on nails... never had an infection and the design is mostly always on point. Always get my eyebrows waxed here-- they do a great job! Salon isn't as fancy as others in Bay Ridge-- wish they would use the plastic covering every time a pedicure is being done and miss the flower petals in the water that they used at one time but then stopped. Under new ownership recently, this place is very clean and sanitary. Amie had been doing my nails previously at another local place, so it was wonderful to see that she now opened her own place! Amie was always very friendly and always makes my nails look beautiful. Amie did a wonderful job with my SNS nails! They last forever and grow out with your nails. They do not chip like acrylic or gel. I got SNS with tips and it only cost $30. It also only costs $3 extra to get them soaked off which is very fast. A great price for something that lasts 2-3 weeks! Her staff is always very nice as well. I will definitely return! read more

Came here on a Thursday morning right when it opened. No nail lady was in yet so I had to wait a bit, but a nice older gentleman was there to help me get situated and feel comfortable. Not too far from the train station. Amie helped me with my acrylic nails and was very patient with me. She suggested UV Gel ($43 not including tips) and it's been 2-3 weeks now and my nails haven't chipped. I'm very impressed of the quality :). The store is kept clean and very organized. This store is very similar to your typical local nail salon so I don't really have much to say. I do recommend this location if you're near the area and need your nails done! read more

The service is exceptional and prices can't be beat. They have a special going on- $18 for mani/pedi Monday - Thursday. Gel manicure is $22. Terrible service! 0 stars if I could. I went in asking for a Brazilian waxing and the workers who only spoke Chinese have no idea what I was talking about. They should at least have a Chinese menu where all the services are there so I can point at but they don't. They walked away so I figure I might as well google translate for them. Of course I waited over 5 minutes for the employees to look but none of them bothered to assist. Never again will I come back. They barely had any costumers too. Came to this salon because I was in the neighborhood and let me just say I wish I didn't. I did a pedicure, took forever to get started. The pedicure was so aggressive. I would not recommend this place unless you want to feel like you got beaten up after a pedicure. NOT ONLY DID I FEEL LIKE I WAS GETTING BEAT UP but the disrespect was horrific. I asked the lady multiple times to be careful with my toe (since I had a prior accident) and she totally disregarded me. Instead, she grabbed my toe as if she wanted to take it off & continuously used force throughout the entire pedicure. I will definitely NOT be returning. Highly disappointed. read more

Every time I get my nails done here there always seem's to be a crowd of workers hovering over me. I assume Amie (the owner) is teaching the other workers, but I mean come on, 5+ people literally on top of me while I get my nails done is a bit awkward.. and not to mention uncomfortable. I've had several experiences with other workers who did an awful job (crooked nails, different length of nails, etc.) Amie would always take over and fix them. I assume that Amie is the only qualified worker in that place ... who knows ..... The last time I went it was over crowded with clients and about 2 other workers who had no idea what they were doing. I was frustrated with Amie because every couple minutes while she was doing my nails she would constantly get up to help fix a workers mistake or to take over their client. Which I found extremely unprofessional, because she would not excuse herself and would leave and come back 10 minutes later. I don't really recommend this place. Unless you don't mind a crowd of workers hovering over you chatting & laughing while you get your nails done or an inexperienced worker working on your nails. The only reason why I give this place 2 stars is because of the way Amie knows how to do nails. She knows what she's doing and makes my nails bomb everytime. Apart from that I will no longer spend my money here and will look elsewhere where their customer service is a priority! read more

I didn't get my nails done but coming here with my friend got me pretty frustrated which leads me to leaving this review. My friend came here to fix a chipped gel manicure that she got the night before. I was with her then too. She came and called ahead and specifically requested for Amie to fix it which she was happy too accommodate her. When we got here around 7pm they sat her down, Amie asked someone to take off her chipped nail polish but I guess there was some miscommunication in that and she ended up taking off her whole gel manicure. Then we sat and waited for quite a while, the other worker pulled my friend back and forth around the salon to show Amie her buffed clean nails and such, it was a pretty uncomfortable situation to watch, my friend definitely felt uncomfortable. When Amie finished doing someone's nails she said she's just going to quickly wax someone's eyebrows first before she got to my friend. She didn't come back and someone else sat down to do my friends nails, when my friend asked about Amie she said she went to give a massage. My friend specifically called and asked Amie to fix her nails and Amie agreed and was well aware of it when we walked through the door. After an hour and a half my friend got her nails redone. What should have taken 10-15 minutes took over an hour. Not to get me wrong, people did walk out with great looking manicures, but the flip flopping and waiting really wasn't worth it. You can get your nails done for the same price elsewhere. read more

I gave this place many chances but I just had enough with the customer service. Amie always forgets about her appointments and so does her staff they do not even write them down into their books. Me and my girls would travel 1 hour or more there and back by transportation to do my nails and she would forget she would have an appointment and when we go we would be sitting waiting for her almost an hour all times we have went separately. This was the last time, I always call her the same day to notify her and remind her that I am coming since she is so forgetful, and when I arrived 5 minutes earlier to my appointment today, she took someone else into my seat... I am very angry and upset how do you treat a customer who has been loyal like that? How does a business run like this? She lost more than 4 customers today because of this I hope it was worth it. Guess who is not coming back to this salon? this girl. It is extremely difficult to find a good salon in Brooklyn. And here I thought this one could be it. Setting the extremely horrible customer service aside, the nails aren't all too good either! They take forever to get started on your nails. They have you sit there for 30-40 minutes, waiting and waiting for someone to start. They switch between people a few times and this is every time. And when you ask them to file a specific shape, they do it the way that they want to do it. And when you correct them, they still don't do it right. Even when you show them a photo of what you want. And I have to remind them to file my nails. They don't remember to do it on their own. They are extremely lazy. They don't clean the cuticles, they don't massage your hands, they don't put on lotion - nothing I put the lotion on my hands myself. I have to come home and clean my everything myself! And everytime I'm having my nails done, rather paying attention to what they're doing, they take extra time to teach the other staff how to do it and this is a fact, and I understand, but if you're messing up and I have someplace to be, it is not okay! Last time this happened she had to redo the same nails a lot of times because she kept messing them up and my nails came out thick and not all the same. I always leave a very generous tip because I understand, but for what???? I work extremely long hours and it takes me more than hour to get here. Just to be turned away? I've brought many customers here and they've all felt the same but this was the last time that we are going to have this happen. Do not come to this place! They have limited SNS powder colors as well, they are ALL dull and all the colors look the same, not a great variety even though they claim to have "300-400 colors" They don't do the polish itself bad, but the customer service, the wait, the way they handle your nails - TOTALLY not worth it. You can find a different place with the same price or less and be treated better. read more
