Chicken tortilla soup, veggie rolls, Parrillada, and brisket quesadillas on this visit. Great service and we were lucky to have Carlos wait on our table again! The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The margaritas were absolutely fantastic. However, I will never return to this restaurant. I am in town for a couple months. Tried this place out today, the first month I'm am here. I told the waitress that I would be there for a couple hours to work, but I am chill and she doesn't need to check on me ever. If I put my drink at the end of the table that means I want service, otherwise I need nothing and I won't bother anyone. The waitress was lovely. And then, after the restaurant cleared out a significant amount of customers; one of the employees sat across the room and proceeded to have his phone on FULL VOLUME while he looked through, (I don't know Facebook, TikTok?) It was so distracting I had to leave. I tip heavy. I'm saying 50% to 70%. I tipped the same today because my waitress was fantastic. But I will never return to this restaurant. I asked the waitress if he worked there: he did. Never again. I'll find somewhere else with good street tacos and margaritas. Thanks. read more

We stumbled upon Amigo's Place while driving back from the Dallas area and I am so glad we did! This was hands down the best food I've had in a long time! The staff were super attentive and the food was incredible. I got the CAMARONES DIABLO and it was absolutely wonderful. My son went basic and got chicken fajitas but they were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend Amigo's Place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food! I cannot wait to make another Dallas trip ;) read more

So, I've seen all the hype on Facebook & a friend of mine told me that the food was actually pretty good. We decided to give it a try & order take out over the phone. I had ordered the pambazo because usually it's just chorizo & papas but this one had pulled pork. Let me tell you, that pork taste was porking! If that even is a word. The taste of pork was so strong it was nasty. It didn't even have a good flavor. I'm not even a pork person but like I said I thought it was a regular Pambazo. My husband got the parrillada & he said it was decent. We ended up switching plates so I got a taste of his parillada it was decent. It didn't have much meat. It was more onions than anything. The rice was pretty good so I'll give them 5 stars for the rice but food was okay. Will, not be buying from here though not worth it. They also gave use chips but no salsa I don't know how that works though... I thought chips & salsa were a thing. Whenever I called to order the lady was nice & my husband said that the place is actually pretty small. So yeah..... it's a no for me. read more

I had the Ferris Enchilada Special and it was so good--perfectly chicken enchiladas with eggs on the side, plus your choice of black or pinto beans. This place was terrific, and we set a pretty high bar when it comes to Tex-Mex! The queso was delicious. And we got chicken fajitas. Chicken was amazing. Veggies excellent and the quac. Even had a piece of sausage, which was spicy and something I'll have to get more of when we come back. They have a wide variety of things on the menu and next time we'll have to try the salmon (we heard that was great) or the brisket tacos. We'll definitely be back! read more
