A friend of mine had a battery light appear yesterday while driving back to work from lunch. Unfortunately, we werent able to get to Tire Discounters until almost 6:00PM. We walked in and asked if they could replace her alternator because she lives almost an hour away and more than likely wouldnt make it home. One of the guys said they could replace it, but it wouldnt be tonight since we were there so close to closing time (completely understandable). The other guy, Jacob said he wanted to test it and make sure thats what it needed and see what the alternator was putting out. Jacob determined that it was a bad alternator and started checking to see how easy/hard it would be to get to it. He said he needed to check with someone about something so we followed him back inside. I have never had any issues with tire discounters until my past experience. They spoke to my partner and I with much disrespect. I wanted to get a car added to a company profile and the employee lied to me saying they needed 'tags' which is not the case. I pushed for the vehicle to be added and it took maybe 10 minutes which to me, the employee did not want to take the time to do it. Secondly, they allowed me to schedule an appointment for 4 new tires, alignment, and an oil change, but made me come back for the oil change because "they can't do that today". Thus, having to make a second trip to the store which is an inconvenience. When we took the vehicle back to get the oil change, mind you we got new tires 3 days ago, the employee was rude when an alignment was denied. I shopped around for tires for my Ram truck and Tire Discounters had the best price for four Michelins. I made an appointment, came in on my appointed day and time, and they went right to work on my truck. They gave me a complimentary front end alignment and oil change with my purchase. I also get a free rotation and balance for the life of the tires. The tires are fantastic and their service is fast and reliable. I have found them to be very reliable, competitive, and competent. read more

Made an appt to have an oil change and rotate & balance. Forty five minutes after they took my truck back they pulled it around to the front and showed me a list of upsell items they said I needed. I was surprised at how quickly they finished so I took a good look at my truck. Lo and behold the wheels that I had marked with LF/RF were still in the same place. I went back in and told the service writer that I was supposed to get an r & b and was told I did. I said I didn't and she went and got the lead technician. He told me that I did get an r & b. Then I took him outside and showed him where I had marked my wheels. He was upset and embarrassed. My truck was pulled back into the shop where I could watch them rotate my tires. They never did balance them. Be skeptical of the Lifetime Rotate & Balance when purchasing new tires. Chances are that it is just a ruse they have no intention of honoring. read more

Got into the shop with a car that wouldn't stop shaking and it turns out, it was just full of mud. Bailey and the team managed to take off the wheels and deep clean inside in a matter of a few minutes and my car ran like a dream afterwards. They are lifesavers and they gave me excellent customer service. Highly recommended to anyone with car trouble and need to save a dime. read more

We've used this business several times before and never had a problem. About 2 weeks ago, my daughter was moving to Texas and needed new brakes. I sent her here and she got them done. I was charged $620. All the way to Texas her brakes squealed. So she took her car to a auto repair shop in Texas. They looked at her brakes and told her whoever had done them did a lousy job. However, there was no safety issue. I called tire discounters to complain and they called the auto repair shop in Texas. They were told about the problem. I was told the tire discount guy was very apologetic. When I called him back, I feel like he blew me off. I feel like I should get a partial refund. I didn't pay $620 for a lousy job. I was not satisfied with their response. I will file a report with the BBB. Filed a report with the BBB, no response. read more

Hoooorrriiiiibbbllleeee!!! My tires were purchased and installed in 7/2023 with a 70,000 3 year warranty.I am not near my warranty period maximums. My wife had to instruct the regional manager to their limited warranty policy on their website for him to read it. He isn't fully understanding of their own polices and like to add stuff to it that doesn't even appear even in small writting. All of my service appointments for rotations, balances, and alignments were all done at this location. Here we are 8/2024 one year and 2 weeks after purchase and installation of the tires we find out that my tires are needing a replacement. Hooowwww? Especially after I have had my tires serviced in all ways through you. No one ever mentioned before the Full Warrany 1 year replacement about my tires wearing extremely fast. No one at your store mentioned it. Now after that time frame has ended ya'll feel comfortable with advising that these defective tires need to be replaced and ya'll are willing to give me $300.00 proration to get new tires. Even with the $300.00 proration it will cost me more with that credit applied than what other companies are charging for 80,000 mile warranty tires. This company has been very difficult to work with and very conniving. Beware. I will be moving forward with my complaint. They are not right and not to be trusted. Recently relocated to Huntsville and used this store for a new set of tires- no hassles, great customer service. One month later, my car battery died in the Walmart parking lot. I called the store and asked if someone could come jump my car. To my complete surprise they responded, "We will be right there"!!! Ten minutes later, Stephen shows up with a jump box!!!!! Drove straight to the shop to get a new battery and I was in and out in 30 min!!!! Unbelievable service!! Crazy over-the-top customer service!!! Won't go anywhere else!!! read more

Took my SUV in for tires and rear brake pad replacement. Steve did an excellent job of informing me of the cost for replacing the tires and called after verifying the rear brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. A nice benefit is they also perform a free alignment with tire purchase. They did an excellent job and saving me over $600 if the BMW dealership performed the work. read more

I mistakenly stopped stopped here thinking I had a drop off appointment and the service representative in the lobby locked the door. I was kind of excited to get my vehicle serviced near my house. Understandably, it was 20 mins to opening, but a simple we're not open yet would have sufficed eventhough the garage doors were open. I'm new to Huntsville and here for the military. To have someone just stare at you like you're here to break-in sends an unwanted message. read more

I always go here for basic oil changes. I know that I need my belts changed and they remind me each time that I go. I know that my valve cover gaskets need to be changed due to some burn smoke from under the hood without telling them however they let me know. I plan on scheduling that service soon and the estimate seems reasonable. I just hope that the repairs are done professionally. During oil changes they constantly communicate with each other and very nice. read more

6 Tires for 2 trucks were ordered on a Friday with a Monday delivery/install promise. Come Monday, no call no tires. Tuesday, no call no tires, Wednesday, no call no tires, Thursday, no call no tires. Friday No call, Tires have come in. Tires are installed Friday and repairperson broke TPMS. TPMS is ordered on Friday with Monday delivery/install promise. Monday, no call no tpms. Tuesday, Call from TD stating that TPMS is in. After 45minutes it is determined that TD does not have the correct TPMS. TD promises to call when correct TPMS arrives. I complained and suggested that something is offered to make up for all of this. Sales guy who was off last week offered $25 off an alignment. GM offered a free alignment. Not very confident in this Tire Discounter's ability to perform professional work in a timely manner. Disappointed and will not be bringing our fleet in the future. read more

While traveling into Alabama, I had occasion to stop in at the Providence location in Huntsville Alabama. My auto monitoring system indicated a low tire pressure. I pulled into the Tire Discounters store and was struck by how organized and immaculate the showroom was. I learned that the store had been opened over a year, but it looked like the place was ready to celebrate a grand opening--no marks on the walls, glossy clean floors, no crumbs in the corners of the waiting area seating. And the bathroom was as clean as the store. I told the the person who greeted me upon entry that the place was as clean as a firehouse. The employees were also very friendly, genuine and efficient. They pulled my vehicle into the bay, checked each tire and located the nail which had penetrated the tire. The mechanic repaired the tire quickly and got me in my way. With so many companies struggling with good customer service, I found the employee interactions , the facility and the quality of work to be exceptional read more
