I found jiffy Lube would do it but it was a bit expensive. (I heard a new transmission could cost up to $2000). Boy, I thought, what a business. Although they said it would take 60 minutes I was there 2.5 hours. (The waiting room could be a food storage locker, 66F and fan constantly on). Ridiculous! If I can find any other service group I will use them. A bit disgusted! (poor customer service in my estimation) Hope that you have better luck, 1 lady was there 8 to 1300!

The first time I went, they left a pair of needle nose pliers under the hood. I took it back to them the next day. They took it back and didn't say a thing. Not even thank you. The second I came back I paid for new air filters. They forgot to place in the air filters in the car and cabin. I had to come back and show them and then prove to them I paid for it. I don't want to give them a third chance. My suggestion would be to try another location or another company.

Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

I have an '08 Jeep Wrangler with a manual transmission. When I returned home I wasn't able to put…read moreit in park. Engine running, indicator on dash showed it was in park but the lever wouldn't move out of drive. The linkage between the shifter and the transmission became disconnected. I take my Jeep here for oil and tire service and they always do a great job. I took it in and they verified the broken connection. The fix is a part from Doorman: part 14055. The local parts store sells it for $16.99. When the plastic part was replaced - about two hours after they started working on it - the bill came to just under $120. They charged me $29.99 for that $16.99 part... Upcharge was almost x2. I am an app user and had a coupon for $15.00 off any service other than an oil change. The manager denied my using that coupon - did everything short of calling me a liar stating the coupon - that came from their app - wasn't from their app. My history with this company is over. The replacement of this part takes less than 10 minutes: look it up on YouTube... The despicable upcharge is ridiculous. I'm all about a business making a profit but not an almost double the price of the replacement part to a loyal customer. Done. Adios. Chow. Hasta la vista, baby!
