I really love Amina thai, especially their pad thai. Yesterday their phone lines were out so was forced to order online and I clearly wrote out pad thai regular spice with chilli on the side. Enjoyed Amina Thai for the first time. Pad thai was great! The green papaya salad was great - spicy, salty, sweet, fresh, and crunchy. Great for a warm night. I thought I'd give this place a second chance and it was even worse than the first time. The panang curry was a disgustingly thick sludge of coconut milk and peanut butter. The cook didn't even have the decency to mix the "sauce" ingredients. There was literally a layer of white, unmixed coconut milk when I opened the container. The mushy spring rolls were most likely store bought, frozen and microwaved. I honestly do not know how this place is still in business. What an insult to people's hard earned money. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Came here for dinner on a Wednesday around 8 pm. I usually go to Kao Thai but I saw that this place has the highest reviews in the area. The place was empty yet no one greeted or seated me for a while. After I was finally seated, no one came over to ask for my order. I called a woman over to take my drink order while I waited for my companion to arrive. She was very brash but took my order. Finally when we were ready to order food, the woman taking orders couldn't communicate with me in English (not a problem) so she summoned the brash lady over. The brash lady helped several other customers and didn't bother to come over. When she finally came to take our order, our food arrived and looked tasty but the broccoli on both orders was freezing cold. I eat a lot of Thai. How in the world do you serve at hot dish with cold broccoli on the same plate. She had a major attitude when we asked about it. So we told her we would pay for our drinks and leave. I wouldn't come here and again and I'm so glad to have friendly and responsive service at Kao Thai. Ordered the same meal here and it's everything we needed!! read more

The roti kanai appetizer was pretty good but the pad thai was bland, had a couple random large pieces of onions in it and egg shells.

My family and I had a hunkering for Thai food and I especially wanted the Drunken Noodles. The food was well seasoned and flavorful. They were very courteous and my husband who really doesn't like chinese ordered a second entre of the same dish! The pad prik king was inedible. This is a common entree I've had many times from numerous restaurants. It tasted like there was curry added which is atypical. Almost as if they didn't clean the wok from a prior dish. The green beans were left whole and were chewy and old. I did not want to get sick and did not eat it. I informed the server that it was not good. She did not respond or inquire. She asked if I wanted to take home to which I replied no, it was not good. I had taken a single bite. I was charged the full price. The spring rolls were edible but would not order again. Little filling to ratio of rolled thick wrapper. Do yourselves a favor and walk to the neighboring Kao Thai. I've ordered delivery from this restaurant 3 or 4 times now. The good - delivery is very fast. Each time I ordered the food arrived in less than 30 minutes, probably closer to 20 minutes as I'm nearby. The bad - the food we ordered was mediocre at best. I can't say if they've improved or we just caught them on off nights multiple times, but I'm not sure if I would eat here again. I've had better Thai food a few doors down at Kao Thai. read more

Ordered delivery through a third-party on a rainy night I had a cravings for thai. Not my first time eating with Amina Thai but was my first time as a pescatarian with dietary restrictions. Ordered Tom Yum soup and Green Curry with shrimp. Though I was hesitant to pay the extra $4 for shrimp, I did so anyway since the soup was with tofu. Beware, $4 means 4 shrimp! I cannot believe I paid $1 per shrimp for the dish. Grossly inflated pricing. Next time, I'll save my money. Terribly disappointed. Avoid this Place !!Ordered food from this place last night via grub hub and it was horrible. The food tasted old and sour. It is very hard to mess up tofu and broccoli. The lo mein also tasted disgusting. None of this food was fresh, egg rolls were mushy and soupy. We couldn't even finish any of this food, because of the taste and the fear that we would be sick following the meal. I'm heavily considering turning them into the health department especially after seeing other reviews of them serving food that tasted old.The restaurant had the nerve to refuse a refund, save your money and stomach and order from another restaurant. read more
