I can't say enough great things about Amity, they make you feel like family! I wish I found this place sooner. The drink prices are incredible, the ambiance inside is really fun but outside is even better! Great family owned watering hole that is welcoming for the entire family. We love Amity Estates! Had some friends on our side of town for lunch and went to a new brewery, we were feeing the vibe so decided to change things up and head to Amity! We all loved it! Beers were cold, we watched the Jags preseason game, had the opportunity to catch up and even took a stroll on the dock. Our friends have a boat and didn't know this place existed and already planned their next outing (by boat) for them! Excited to try out BINGO night and become a better regular. Rented for a party and were told on the phone that he could not close to public but only about 10 locals show up at an given time! Turned out he rented to 2 other groups of about 30-50 in about a 1000 sq ft venue. While some of us were at the pool the other groups took over our area inside. One of our guest said she got kicked out of her table. When we complained about our area being taken over inside (our buffet was completely blocked) they called us Karens. We also did not have access to the pool tables or anything but the pool. We provided a bounce house for our guest and all the kids from the other parties used. We were fine with that as long as their parents were watching. Just a ridiculous amount of people. Probably against fire codes. Bathroom outside was filthy. Would never set foot in this place again. read more

Never EVER rent this venue for an event. I paid to rent the clubhouse for an engagement party. I paid for live music and entertainment, and had it catered. We spent a fortune for an event and the owners allowed anyone and everyone to come in and REFUSED to simply tell casual patrons it's closed for an event. I have never in my life been more disappointed in a business I my life. Please beware and never come to this place for an event. read more

What an awesome little find!!!! It was suggested I check this place out by some friends, so I made the trek down that way to see what the fuss was all about... So, you turn on this dirt road.... and for awhile you think you are going nowhere... Then you pass a few trailers and wonder to yourself... "Can this be right?" So the road ends and there is a teeny tiny house... and again you kind of question what the heck you are doing there. And then you step inside... Cool little bar area, and some seating... but look beyond. You'll first eye the pool, not super large but immaculate. And then you see it. And it's absolutely breathtaking. A nice grassy area, right on the river, with a picture perfect pier and marina. I've only seen pictures of the sunsets, but the location is right on. I know people use the phrase "hidden gems" quite a bit, but seriously... that's exactly what this is. A row of chairs line up right on the river for perfect sunset and water watching, with a cold drink in your hand. It's gorgeous! You can rent the entire venue for a reasonable price, or stop on by and grab a drink in the bar area. Or if you have a boat, you can keep it here too. I thought it would take a bit longer to get to this location, but from Riverside, only took me about 20-25 minutes. A great little place for when you want to get out of the city, but not too far out of the city. :) read more

What. A. View! Seriously you HAVE to enjoy a sunset here at least once. This is why Yelp exists. I would have not had ANY clue that this place existed if Yelp was not around. Located on the St. John's river - you have a gorgeous view of the water and docks. Amity actually means a friendly relationship and this is located at the end of Friendship road. How cool? Free to go down to the doc and enjoy the view. They have a bar/restaurant as well. There is a pool you can pay for a daily pass too if you want to go swimming. Kids welcome! They also are available for parties and events. What a great backdrop for an event. The couple who runs it, Keith & Alex, are so dang sweet too! If you are in town, make sure to go down the dirt path to the diamond in the rough! read more

Was here for the Yelp Elite event on 3/31/15 and couldn't have asked much more for a great place to have had it. It's right on the St. John's river and so pretty. The owner seemed like such a genuine and nice guy when he explained the history of the place and the amenities they offered too. The patio they have has a grill and a bar area that I can imagine would be well used on a warm summer or spring evening. We definitely plan to come back and meet more new people. read more

I was invited to Amity Estates & Marina last July Fourth. This is a great place. From the moment I arrived I felt so welcome and like everyone there was having fun. The building is like a remodeled lake house with a bar/kitchen area, family/gathering area and game room. The owner and his family are so friendly. The big back yard overlooking the beautiful St. Johns River has a nice swimming pool and beyond the pool there is a barbeque area before the pier out on the water. The day I was there a band was playing out by the river. It really is a pretty place and fantastic for watching the fireworks that night. read more

Beautiful place and a hidden gem. Great spot to enjoy a nice outdoor space and beautiful sunset. The swimming pool is membership only, but the grounds and the beer and wine bar and the snack bar are open to the public. Take a ride down here for a scenic treat on a nice day or beautiful evening. Great place to host a private event but warn the guests it will be worth the good long drive down a bumpy dirt road to get here. read more

I have been to this Marina twice, once as a guest and, being impressed as a guest, I reached out to them to host a company luncheon. I am an awful party planner. It's true. I forget things, I lose things, I am almost always still running around getting things ready 10 minutes after the event was supposed to start. Keith and Alex, the owners of Amity, jumped in and saved the day. They gave me real silverware when I realized I had forgotten my plastic ones, They gave me ice, they helped me load and unload, they gave me propane, they pretty much saved my ass. They didn't have to do any of that. Their customer service is exceptional, warm and beyond helpful, and the view!!!! The location itself is stunning. Overlooking the widest part of the St. Johns River, it is large enough for a good sized event, but laid out in such a way as to feel very inviting and cozy. The views just melt your worries away. This would be an excellent location for a wedding, corporate event, reunion, or even a romantic night out with your hunnie, as they do have a bar that is open to the general public. (Call ahead to make sure there is no private event) The bathrooms are meticulously maintained and clean. A few unexpected bonuses were: 1. The bright clean play structure with a swing and a slide, the only negative was having to pull my daughter away :) 2. The wonderful fact that they had plenty of seating at the event for all my guests, including some nice clean Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. 3. They have a bar with karaoke on Fridays! 4. They offer paddle boat rentals, dry storage for boats and jet skis with trailers, and wet slips for vessels up to 45 feet LOA. All slips come with water and electricity. I am so happy that Allie hosted the Yelp Sunset Supper here, or I would never have known such a darling resource existed just down the road. read more

We keep our 30' sailboat docked at Amity Marina, and I love the fact that the owner Keith does not allow "live aboards" here. It's one of the main reasons we chose it. We also love the location, and that it's really easy to leave the dock and be right onto the river. The facilities here are kept clean. There is a pool, a small bar with happy hour specials... The beer is cheap. Holidays there is often live entertainment. The sunset here is the absolute big reason you should keep your boat here! It is AMAZING! The owner Keith is great, and always keeps an eye on the boats. I feel my boat is secure there. The price per foot is one of the cheapest around. read more

This place is a nice little hole in the wall marina. The atmosphere is nice. Beer and wine only. It is situated right on the water. Plenty of seating. Pool table inside and a of couple tvs. Bring your bug spray though..... Boy the mosquitos come out at night. read more

We starting going to Amity 2 years ago. Nice peaceful located on the east side of the St John's River. Great cold cheap beer, best view of sunsets. We had our sailboat club party here and a great location to come by boat. Alex and Keith go out of their way to make sure you are happy. read more
