I've been a customer of this business for a year and spent nearly $2000 on guns and ammo and just had the worst experience with them than I've ever had with any other business in my life. I made an online ammo order with them during their Black Friday sale and referred two friends to the same sale for the same ammo. Both of them got their ammo sent to external FFLs in San Diego and Washington state within two weeks. My order was FFL'd to this location in Riverside and the online order status stayed stuck in "Inter Store Transfer". I was charged the full amount at the time of the order. I never got a single update or call regarding the order status so I went in person after a month and was told they didn't know what happened but they would let me know if it comes in. Another month goes by and I went in to pick up a separate order and asked them again about this ammo order and was told they may have oversold the ammo and there was no other update. I told them I would be willing to take any equivalent ammo (9mm 115gr factory fresh) since there were hundreds of rounds of equivalent ammo sitting right in front of me at the store and the salesman said other customers had been told about the oversold situation, the manager had refused to have other ammo price matched for the amount they had paid and were offered refunds. At this point I asked to talk to the manager and was told he wasn't there and I expressed extreme disappointment in both the situation and customer service. He said he would let the manager know. A few days later I finally get a call from the manager and was informed again about the oversold situation and that they can't change the price of equivalent ammo despite the full amount having been charged months ago. And then also revealed they might've accidentally mixed up my order for ammo to be sold for walk in purchases. I gave him a piece of my mind at this point. He told me if I had let him know sooner he could've maybe helped and then pretended as if I hadn't been to their branch multiple times, contacted their internet sales email and hadn't gotten any helpful information once in that time. Then he had the audacity to offer to sell me ammo at the current prices which were 25% higher than I had already paid for as if he was doing me a favor. These fuckers will fuck you, look you in the eye and tell you to fuck off with the absolute minimum legal required action (offer a refund) while they sell your PAID FOR goods to another customer with no remorse because the industry is backed up on supply and have a line out the door every day at the time of this writing. All while they provide 0 updates and if I hadn't complained in person, probably would've never gotten another update. I've also had a special order with down payment on a Sig P226 for over 7 months but never got a single update from Ammo Bros in that time. I've had to go to this location once a month every month just to be told they don't know anything. I've cancelled both orders and will never give this piece of shit business my time or money ever again. read more

This place is a bit obnoxious. They say they refuse to answer the phone when you call because they allegedly get 1,600 phone calls a day. Every other gun store I've called answers the phone (weird, huh). They have a system where you give your name and number and they will give you a call when it's your turn; BUT you only have 5 min to get back to their shop or you loose you place in line. This system is destined to fail for many (unless you plan on waiting for hours in their parking lot). 5 min to return is obnoxious. They SHOULD give 10-15 to return and bump you to next in line, but not everyone has countless hours to wait in their parking lot. read more

Bought my first gun there recently, the staff was great, service was great. All the bad reviews are ridiculous. Mad bc ammo bro's let's you sit in your car with a/c rather than stand outside in line for 2-3 hours like bass pro. Then people go home knowing they only have 5 min to get there after a call. If they waited 10min for every customer they call and if they see 50-75 customers a day that's 12 hours a day they would be WAITING for people to show.. don't complain that you get the option to wait in a/c in your own space while you wait or they will be forced to do the outside line! I will NEVER purchase anything from this store again. I understand the coronavirus has everyone freaked but to make your customers wait standing outside for hours is ridiculous. Their disorganization is unacceptable. Me and my fiance waited in line for 3 hours to close out our layaway and pickup our guns. We were misinformed about the 10day waiting process. We were told that the background check begins when you put a 20% deposit down, so we were surprised to find that we couldn't pick up our guns or finish paying the deposit because we came on a "pickup only day." After waiting for hours at your employees misinformation, you should at least let us process our payment since we were already at the counter. They were doing other transactions aside from pickups, they were selling ammo as well and holding leisure conversations as if there was not customers waiting outside for hours. So the fact that now you can't take my payment. That's Bull! NEVER AGAIN!! read more

I just had the worst experience ever at this place. I typically go to Turner's or Bass pro shop for my gun needs, but this time I decided to come to a closer location. Me and my girlfriend arrived at 10:40am and we noticed there was a line to get in, so we got in line. Come to find out, they're only letting three people at a time in. I am not exaggerating when I tell you, we (and many others) waited over FIVE hours in line to get told they close at 4pm and no one else is getting in if you don't make it inside their door. At 3:50 pm we had 3 people in line in front of us and we knew we weren't going to make it in. We ended up leaving after waiting 5 miserable hours outside. Never coming back, supporting, or recommending this location to anyone. I'll do whatever I can to steer people clear of this spot. read more

"Small Pistol and small rifle CCI Primers" They only had two boxes of their CCI400's, at $29.99. "Good Price" Since I live in Moreno Valley, and didn't want to just walk out with two boxes, I decided to buy an extra box, of Winchester WSR. Price on the display $31.99. I decided to buy them, since they're only $2.00 more. Again, not a bad price. Well, it wasn't until today, that I noticed I was over charged for the winchester primers. Price on receipt $34.99. So I decided to give them a call, to confirm the price, before I drove all they way there. I was told they did overcharge me, but that I did, have to come in, for my $3 refund. Ok, whatever ! Is it worth driving, that far, for $3 ? I decided to call them back, and ask them, if I can get a discount, on another box of primers. Their answer was, NO. They would ONLY Give me a3 dollar discount, on my next purchase. I decided to eat the 3 dollars. I reload thousands of rounds every year, and looking at receipts, I added over $5,200 I spent at Ammo Bros just in 2016. Needless to say, I will no longer, buy a single thing from them, EVER. I will drive to Covina "Phillis Wholesale" For all my Reloading supplies. All I was asking for, was maybe a 10% discount on something. My husband has been bugging me to get a gun that's easier for me to handle, I have a Springfield 1911 and while I love how it looks it's heavy & hard to pull the trigger. Also I wanted something small so I can apply for a concealed carry and travel with something light & easy to use. Went in on a Saturday night and Chris came right up to us to ask if we needed any help. My husband asked to check out a CZ 75 sp-01 because he's in love with it and just wanted to oogle it which Chris happily obliged then we informed him as to why we were there. Chris seemed eager to help us and had a few suggestions for us to check out. First a Smith & Wesson M&P shield, a HK P2000 SK, and the CZ 75 compact. He didn't rush us, let us both check out each handgun and get a feel for them. Asking me how the trigger felt? How the weight felt? Any questions or concerns I had he answered with ease. Went with the HK and started the paperwork which didn't take very long, we arrived about a half hour before closing so even when it became closing time we weren't rushed or shown any sign of annoyance. Very fast process from start to finish now just waiting the 10 days before I can pick it up. My husband was even more impressed that the handgun we purchased (regularly $699) was on sale for $650 and not only that he checked Turners & Rifle Gear to find that the gun was about $100 more on both websites. So besides the service their prices are great as well! Highly recommend even just to go in and take a look they have a large selection to check out. read more

This is a nice spot on Indiana, place is very clean and offers a large assortment of guns and pretty much anything else you'd need for a gun (cleaning kits, earmuffs, targets, etc.). Prices are pretty fair for the area. Main reason why I'm giving 5 stars is for the service. This is my first time buying a gun, and not once did I ever experience the stereotypical cocky attitudes that usually come with people that work at gun shops. They had no qualms with answering any of my firearm questions, no matter how silly they might have sounded. Very professional, patient and knowledgeable staff. If every visit here will be like this, then they'll always have my business as long as they're in the area. Fair warning, you might have to wait a little longer than you'd like to be served. This place can get busy fast with staff handling customer inquiries and how long it can take to process paperwork. Try to come on a weekday to avoid the rush. Not sure if I'm ready for another gun any time soon, but I'll give my business to these guys if I do.
