Here are my Fall Favorites - I will start with the "more" :) Mary now has a savory little gem - Formaggio Puffs (cheese puffs with Gruyere baked in). These are savory little morsels that are irresistible! They would be perfect for any gathering as an appetizer with drinks (or wine pairing), especially during the holidays. Next up, Apple Churros! Why have I not heard of these before? Apples + churro = Delicious. Add the fact that these are gluten free......brilliant! You would never know. These perfect bite size babies are just the right amount of sweet, not the ridiculously over sugared treats that one might think of when they think "churro". Should you have any left over, they are divine with a cup of coffee in the morning. Pumpkin Tiramisu in a Cup. I had my reservations before trying this, I am not a huge tiramisu fan. The flavor I like, but the texture of soggy lady fingers just is not my thing. This Pumpkin Tiramisu in a Cup is not like that. Nothing soggy here! Wonderful crumbles with super-silky-subtle-pumpkin-marscapone-goodness, topped with an awesome pumpkin seed brittle! These are the most flavorful desserts I've ever eaten! And they are gluten free, grain free and sugar free! The guests at our event were amazed at how good something without gluten, sugar and grain could taste this good ! Some of our family members have special dietary restrictions, so I was thrilled that all in attendance could enjoy everything without worrying about reactions to the ingredients. We had 3 cakes (Sacripantina; Carrots & Spice; and Chocolate Keto) and 3 types of cookies (Triple Chocolate Chunk; Citrus Madeleines; and Almond Lace). All were exceptionally tasty, although the Carrot & Spice cake was very crumbly. Those serving had difficulty getting a complete slice to stay together long enough to get onto a plate. But it didn't matter, because it was a delight to eat. I took 1/2 a Chocolate Keto cake out of state in my carry-on luggage for a taste test and it survived intact and was very well received. Mary delivered to our venue at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Mary and her fantastic, flavorful desserts, not just to those who have dietary restrictions, but to anyone who wants high quality, terrific desserts for any event. I ordered the Chocolate chunk Cookies and the Mounds Cake for Mother's Day. They did not disappoint! The Chocolate Chunk Cookies were soft but had a crunch to them (sort of like the edges of brownies) and were delicious! My close friend has really bad allergies to gluten, corn syrup, GMO additives, etc. I found Mary back in March of 2020. She explained to me that due to the Pandemic she no longer accepts cash transactions and helped me set up a Venmo account. No problem with the first transaction, the cake was the Chocolate Mounds Birthday Cake for pick up in April. My buddy really liked it, it was rich and very flavorful. There used to be a bakery in Danville that offered gluten-free desserts but they closed long ago. When I go to other Bakeries they do not have gluten-free options very often.
