Excellent!!! I've been to 2 different dental offices in OC will not shame them. But omg they were over price gauging and fear mongering! Horrible service. So never to go back. Found dental house thanks to my friend who recommended, booked an appointment and said "if this one is like the others, i'm done. I'll go to Tijuana" so the moment i walked in to dental house i was greeted with a smile, easy check in and hardly waited. Although i wouldn't mind waiting since the lobby was very nice! I got my x rays with a super cool machine that spins i had no need to bite on anything to get x rays. Hygienist was super soft handed and thorough. My dentist Dr. Shapiro the best! Omg thank you!!! I broke up with my old dentist about two years ago and it's been on my bucket list to find a new one but it's hard to trust a new dentist (especially when the old one took advantage of your insurance!) Finally I took a chance and after much research decided to try Dental House OC for an exam. My experience was terrific!! Staff was professional, friendly, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. The dentist made sure to answer all my questions. The hygienist (shout out to Pearl!) was super polite, friendly, and great at my cleaning. Their location was easy to access, easy parking, modern office/equipment, and a super relaxing environment. It was also very clean, everything you would want in a dental office. I would highly recommend (and already recommended to my own family) to check out this dentist if you're searching for a new one. And the last thing...they send you home with a goodie bag and not just a basic bag where you toss most or all of the items. I had a major pain on a tooth that already had a root canal done on it. The previous dentist was adamant that the canals had been filled and even refused another X-ray and consultation. Dr. Perry was more than happy to take a look, have a 3D scan taken (which so many offices I've been to don't have), and help point out the missed canal. He was very honest and did not try to make the extra bucks by taking on the root canal retreatment like my last dentist did many times over. Instead he recommended I see an endodontist - I know it's more expensive to see a specialist - but if your Dentist is honest with you like Dr. Perry, it's better to listen. When someone understands their ability, and can be honest with you it's a major reflection of their integrity. Did I mention he also took time to speak to me 1:1 about insurance and finances? How many doctors just pass you on to the front desk for those hard conversations? Amazing person and professional. I was a bit in a predicament when I found the Dental House. I had a chipped filling with no major issue/no pain and was seen within a few days. I had my exam done and was informed that I needed 2 crowns and 2 fillings plus a dental cleaning. I was very happy with the staff and Dr. Perry from the first visit I had with him. The office is very nice, clean and I just feel comfortable there. After my dental exam Laura (the office manager) met with me and went over the treatment plan that would only take 3 visits. The plan was very reasonably priced. We are cash customers and were concerned about treatments costs being outrageous. It was not the case here at the Dental House. I can confidently say that the work they do, materials they use align with their fair pricing. I have always had an easy time making and keeping appointments. The treatment times vary on what is being done, but Dr. Perry does not overbook and you're not waiting long periods of time to be seen. They are very efficient and value their time as well as the patients time. Its also pretty awesome to watch TV with glasses that have sound. It makes the experience much better and the time pass faster. Pearl was the dental hygienist who did my cleaning and she did a fantastic job. She was very thorough and I can't wait to see her again in December! Dr. Perry went over exactly what he was going to be doing in every appointment which made me feel very comfortable. He is super knowledgeable and likable. Finding a Dentist that was knowledgeable, confident, compassionate and likable was so important to me. The staff behind him only enhances what he's trying to achieve. They are a good team and I trust them. I actually felt like I left a relaxing massage after a treatment to get a crown removed and a temporary placed. Amy and Amanni are his Dental Assistants and they're both very good and super friendly. Love Dr Perry and team. They really care about their patients. I had some major jaw pain which I knew may possibly have nothing to do with the dental work I am currently getting but Dr Perry still went out of his way to try and help me out. I was in such pain and I was scared that I may have dislocated my jaw and Dr Perry and team went out of their way to take X Rays just to confirm, answer all my questions, rule things out, and prescribe me medications to help all in short notice. Made all the difference just to know so that I could take proactive approach if i needed too. So thank you again Dr Perry and Team! Just additional info for everyone is that the location is very chic, extra clean, and comfortable. Each room is pretty unique and cute. Technology they're using is pretty hightech as well. Lastly, lots of parking also and building is pretty easy to navigate. The dental work I'm currently receiving right now is from Dr Hoda and so far the appointments and treatments have been going smoothly. Pricing is fair and competitive and they don't make you feel like they're in it for the money. I feel that they put their patients interest first regardless of cost. I was seen by Dr. Perry regarding a pain on molar. He took his time to search for the cause of the pain using the 3D X-ray. It took awhile but he found a very subtle hair line fracture on the root. Overall horrible communication skills and bad customer service. I was running late. Didn't had time to call them. Receptionist calls me to ask where i was, I had given her an estimate of a time I would be arriving, she responded with "NO." Her response left me speechless because instead of moving my appointment she followed it with "we're going to have to cancel your appointment" following up with "it's going to be a $75 cancellation fee". Ive been waiting about two months to get back from them to verify my insurance information that they had said they were going to verify and call me back, they never did. So I called to make my appointment. I also asked them to email me my estimate for my procedure, and they never did. I'm not even surprised this place having 5 starts. Scared of going to the dentist? Me too. After a traumatizing wisdom tooth removal a couple of years ago at another office, I found myself looking for a new place. Dental House just happens to be down the street from my apartment and I couldn't be happier! I needed three separate appointments for my procedures and Araceli, the hygienist, was able to accommodate me in just ONE session for all three parts. She was extremely great at communicating the procedures and why they needed to be done, as well as showing me pictures and being thorough in her approach. I felt very comfortable and valued as a patient in her chair. Could be also because of the TVs in the ceiling, but I think it's mostly because of the great patient care I received from Araceli and Dr. Perry! The office itself is clean and comfortable. They used a lot of new technology for x-rays and photos, which was neat. Dr. perry even showed me the inside of my mouth using a fancy camera. They took me back in within just a couple of minutes from my appointment time and I was done at the time they promised. My mouth didn't hurt at all, it wasn't numb, and I was able to eat after my procedure. Couldn't be happier with the level of service I've received here. Best dentist experience I've ever had. I was a new patient, new to the area and have extreme anxiety when I go to the dentist. I picked dental house because they were the only dentist in OC with 5 stars review across all platforms and now I know why! To begin, the office is very welcoming, nice and was able to make some a bit more relaxed from the beginning. I was welcomed by Laura, she was friendly, smily, amazing in explaining everything to me, and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. After my very easy Xrays process, Dr Perry, came very quickly, he was also very friendly, listened to my concerns, addressed them, and give me recommendations. After checking my teeth, he took the time to explain the whole process, how long it will take and what needs to be done. I waited less than 5 minutes and the staff apologize twice for the wait, which amazed me because I've been to other place, waited 30 min before without anyone acknowledging it. Lastly Laura came back, went over my plan, what I would have to pay out of pocket and schedule my next appointment. This was a very easy process, I did all the paperwork online beforehand, and this experience made me feel way less anxious to go back there for treatment.
