Simply delicious! The calzone was epic! The complimentary bread was soft and warm. The calzone was HUGE! I ordered what I thought it would be the invasive pepperoni calzone but it was so flavorful, even just the crust. And stuffed the pepperonis were hair spicy but that's fine with me. But some people may find them too spicy. I'm not a side of Alfredo to dip my calzone crust in and it was excellent compliment. Finish the meal off with cannolis and they were also very tasty. We were wanting to try something new so we decided to give this place a chance. This place is great if you like terrible food that is extremely overpriced. We ordered fried ravioli and received 6 small pieces of fried bread no cheese or filling at all. Also ordered an Italian sub as it comes. It came as a sub with a single piece of ham, lettuce, 1 inch thick slices of tomato and 4 slivers of onion. No pepperoni or Italian dressing on the sub. I had veal cacciatore and it wasn't bad but the sauce was very soupy. The one star is for poor service. It took an abnormal amount of time to have a server ask for drinks and food took a long time too. If the food was great, the wait wouldn't be that bad. Nice new Italian restaurant here in Mount Washington. My wife and I went in here on our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The waiter was super nice. The place was clean and decorated well. The food was wonderful. She got a chicken Parmesan, which was great and I got chicken fettuccine, which was also great. We will be back. read more

We were in a group of 7 and it took 2 hours to get our food. Others that came in after us were served and when we asked when our food would be out, the server said he forgot to turn in our order. I asked to speak to the manager and he would not come talk to us. We asked if there was any compensation and our server said no. Not a happy outcome. Won't be back! read more

We have come here for years and never had an issue. But this time we waited over an hour for a take out order and when the food came out both meals were wrong. Waitress said "congratulations" when we told her about our issues. The manager said there's nothing he can do and refused to refund us when we did not get our order. We found this place on accident driving by after a farmers market. The ambience inside is excellent, and we love how it is decorated with scenes of historic Italy. "Slice" of pizza was more like the size of a whole pizza, and it was excellent! Wife had a a combination of 3 Italian pastas, and I had a chicken dish with delicious white sauce. RUDE MANAGEMENT. Been there before and they were very rude but I thought maybe they were having a bad day. So thought I would give them another chance. Even more rude than the last time. Ate there EVERY WEEK when it was Milanos. These people are horrible. The pizza is nasty. The food has went do downhill. The quality is just not worth the price. read more

This is a very nice, quaint little Italian Restaurant. We ate outside as the weather was beautiful and the chairs were surprisingly comfortable. A little road noise from the nearby street for example loud exhausts on trucks and a fire truck went by with siren at full song but that's not the restaurant's fault. I usually don't like outside dining but it was really nice. Service was very nice. They give complimentary breadsticks with marinara that was soft and pretty tasty. I got the very delicious Saltimbocca Alla Romano with veal and angel hair pasta. Also note it has prosciutto in it. You'll want to drink the sauce after you've eaten it all. Our son got the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken while my wife and daughter both got the Primavera with chicken. We loved the Tiramisu for dessert. I did get to taste each and they were all delicious. We will definitely be back often as we have now found one of the best Italian Restaurants in the surrounding Louisville area. read more

I'm giving this place a 1 star d/t their treatment of my family members d/t a misunderstanding. My daughter and family have been following this restaurant for years, since they opened as Milanos. Their last meal the woman of the husband was accusing my granddaughter of giving her husband the finger. My granddaughter simply said " have a nice day" to the husband and gave him a hand signal who she meant to say thank you. She is 12 years old and had no idea what her hand signal meant, for an Italian "fu$& u. My granddaughter would have never made that gesture, esp in the presence of her parents. They tried to explain to their daughter, who speaks English, that it was a mistake and she would never give them a hand gesture that said "f$$k You. She took up for her family member and asked them to leave. My daughter took her family out of this restaurant and will, of course, will never return. This was my granddaughter's favorite restaurant, who they have been frequently coming since she was 6 yrs old. I just can't believe this happened and can't believe that we're not willing to straightened this out.? I wouldn't 'recommend this place to my family dogs much less anyone who lives in the Mt Washington area. If u can't understand or communicate with customers then go back to wherever u came from.......... read more

First visit . Big menu. Tried baked lasagna, gnocchi, bread, and cannoli. All were good. Ambiance was OK. Variety of beer and wine. I think they also serve cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised. Will be back. read more
