Came on a Tuesday night. Food (burger and fish and chips) was good, portions were a bit small. Had margaritas on the happy hour--but outside of the happy hour drinks seemed a little steep. Mulligans is a new gem that just opened recently in the Glenmary neighborhood. The food is delicious and the menu has a variety of dishes. This was the perfect place to have a dinner party of 14 guests. I got the sirloin steak and was surprised at how delicious it was. (So tender- reminded me of a filet cut) A thick cut sirloin, cooked to perfection on a sizzling cast iron skillet. Everyone in my party really enjoyed their meals. The service was impeccable and were so accommodative for my large party. I can't wait for the warmer months to enjoy the outdoor area where there is pickle ball and a small children's playground. The Baseball Sirloin I had was a bit tough and I expected it to be seared. The sweet potatoes were cooked too done but Brussels sprouts were very good. Salad too small and served after the entree. We heard good things about this place but were extremely disappointed. Is it a sports bar or a Mexican restaurant? It was confusing from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere said sports bar, but the workers had on "I Love Tacos" shirts and the menu was more Mexican. The food was overpriced and not good. The bourbon burger was overcooked and the size of the patty was like a McDonald's patty. It had no flavor and tasted like it came out of a box frozen. Ate here last night, it was I Love Tacos, not Mulligans. Overpriced tacos and watery queso. Most Mexican places will offer free salsa, even if the chips aren't free, but everything cost extra here. I'd recommend going to Tacón Madres or even Fiesta Time down the street for better tacos. read more

Have been several times now. Usually a group of us, 6-8 people. Menu has some interesting options and have tried several. Most were good, some were average at best. Great venue and nice indoor and outdoor seating. Close to home for most and a convenient location. Our recent visit prompted the review. Service was good for a busy Saturday night. Our group went to hang out and listen to the music on a beautiful evening. We all hope this place makes it, but everyone agreed the drink prices were ludicrous. $14 drinks and $5 domestic bottles of beer. Not very conducive for a night of socializing and enjoying the atmosphere. Those prices are way out of line for the venue. Would expect those prices at a high end restaurant, not a local neighborhood hangout. read more

Loved my experience at Mulligans! You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door with great service, food is amazing. Very fresh and comes out fast. The tables and floors are clean. You have to try the pretzel and beer cheese. Our server was extremely nice as well. I love the atmosphere outside just as much. The dining tables and playground is the cherry on top. So much sounded so good on the menu we decided to tapas style it. There are no regrets here with the portions being more than enough to share. I would definitely do it again. read more

Our dinner for 3 including a child was $70 and most of us couldn't finish our meals because the food was so bad. Hopefully they can work on the quality of the food since the atmosphere is nice. Food was good but service is terrible. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, with multiple employees telling us "We'll be right with you" but never following up. Once seated we got our drink orders but waited over an hour for our appetizer to come out. I tried to flag the manager but he ignored us until I had an employee find him, and then he was argumentative about why the kitchen was as behind. Apparently they had a 50 person party in their private room that they didn't plan properly for. After speaking with the manager the food came out quickly but they got my daughter's order wrong, forgot mine and then tried to give us food that we didn't order. We only saw our waiter three times in almost 2 hours and two of those times were because we either flagged him down or spoke to the manager right before. Only reason I gave two stars is because the food was good and the atmosphere is enjoyable. read more

Less than average tasting experience for extremely overpriced food and service. Hamburgers maybe a frozen slice of meat from a Sysco truck. That's a guess. "Premium" cocktails that are more expensive than the main course meal were not good. It took 30-35 minutes to get six beverages to the table. The beer was correct and arrived cold. The wine was chilled and timely. The train derailed on the remaining four drinks. One was sent back because it was not what was expected. I'm not sure they know what ginger beer is? There is an up-charge of $2.00 for onion rings. You receive five, yes only five onion rings. There's a mandatory large table up charge 20% for a party of six. Two plates arrived before all the drinks arrived. One cocktail arrived after a completed meal. IMHO, this place is not going to make it. I'll save you time and money. Pass! PS, no mulligan on this one. We won't be back. $$$$ with poor quality food and novice bartending. I'm not a hater. I don't even post here at all. But this experience needs to be shared so that you can make your own informed choice. read more
