Today, after some light shopping at the mall, my friend and I decided it was time for a treat. We'd passed a gelato spot before, so this time we gave it a shot. My friend went for a double-layer cone with a pistachio cream in between and some fruity flavors--one raspberry, the other possibly coconut. She loved it. I opted for pistachio cream and hazelnut chocolate in a cup. Honestly, it was just okay--not as creamy as other gelato I've had, more like standard ice cream. I paid extra for hazelnut crumbs, which added a nice texture, though the best fudgy part was at the bottom and very little of it. Overall, it's a chic, cozy spot for a break mid-shopping. Would I return? Maybe not. But if you need a quick treat, it's a decent pause. read more

Came by on a Saturday afternoon. Liked that you order through a kiosk and they have two, made the line move faster. Waited about 10 minutes as there was only one person working. I got the small chocolate cone with 3 flavors - strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio. All were amazing and rich with flavor with the right amount of sweetness. Presentation is beautiful - Amorino is truly a treat! It is a little expensive but that was expected. I didn't mind. read more

Amorino Gelato is cute little ice cream and gelato shop tucked in the middle of Lenox Square. This place also sells macarons and other European desserts. You can order through the self service kiosks or the front and the worker will let you try the flavors of gelato, which was helpful! There is also some seating around the shop. I got the waffle cone with the flavors of Stracciatella, Pistachio, and Mascarpone di Finchi. The presentation of the gelato in a rise was nice and the flavors all worked well together. My favorite flavor was the Mascarpone di Finchi! It was very creamy and sweet. I also got to try their fruity flavors, but I found them to be a bit too sweet for my liking. I think this is a good spot to indulge in a sweet treat after a day of shopping around. read more

Located right in the middle of Lenox, there's a gourmet gelato place that does crepes, waffles, and drinks. We got cones where we picked our own flavors. You can sample flavors. The small cone was about ~$6.50, and presentation was great. The chocolate, strawberry, and mango was especially good. read more

I've tried Amorino before, but I did not realize that this location would be in a shopping mall when I bookmarked it, and the mall itself was notable for a bizarrely dystopian series of "weapon detectors" positioned around the escalators (which I avoided as they were only in some spots, which makes the whole thing even more absurd). The gelato shop is a freestanding stall surrounded by a few tables. The area was kind of messy; I don't know if that's on the mall or Amorino. The quality of gelato is high as one might expect. When I've previously eaten Amorino, I have been offered a gelato macaron as a topping and have always declined it, but this time I was hungry after a day of hiking and said yes, and it was amazing. I got a raspberry macaron, in addition to dulce de leche and hazelnut gelato and a chocolate orange sorbetto. The flavor of sorbet is quite strong and the texture somehow creamy as well, it is certainly a worthy dessert for people who don't do dairy. They have crepes and large cookies and some other options as well. It is certainly a quality treat for anyone who wants to indulge. read more

What a cute surprise in the middle of the mall!! Stopped by for a cup of coffee before an engagement and was not disappointed. If you appreciate a good latte without a sugar rush then this is a good option. I also tried a waffle as well and it balanced well with my latte with just the right amount of sweetness. It was also toasted so that was a lovely service. The self-service kiosk was easy to navigate and the attendant was pleasant. It was my first time there and I would have liked a little more direction or recommendations, but it was early so maybe the regulars tend to visit at that time. I definitely would come here during the week if it is as quiet and peaceful in the mornings as it was this day to remote work as the set up is well-suited for it. Overall, I enjoyed my caramel macchiato latte so I will have to come back and try the gelato when I'm in the area again. read more

I stopped by because I was craving something sweet while at Lenox and I'm glad I did! The line was quite long, so I had to wait quite a bit but the servers were really efficient, patient, and helpful! I didn't end up sampling anything even though most of the people around me did. My gelato was delicious, a great texture, good flavor, and not overly sweet! The macaron was my favorite part though, and was on the sweeter side. There were plenty of seats around when I was there on a Saturday afternoon, so a really pleasant experience and place to grab a quick snack! read more

While inside of Lenox mall, my son wanted ice cream. We stopped by and the gentleman working was very nice while he waited on us to decide. He asked us if we had tried macaroons before? (No). Gave us some details while showing a few. I ended up buying a few of them and OMG they were good! My son loved them. The ice cream was definitely on point!!! Ordered on UberEats to satisfy my sugar craving. Although the gelato was good, the macaroons just fell apart when I tried to pick them out of the box. Flavors of the macaroons are just okay; the only one I liked was the coffee flavored macaron. Delivery was about an hour. I'm happy that the ice cream didn't melt due to the packaging. read more

I love gelato but this place does not live up to the hype. The presentation is so cute and the shop is located in the middle of Lenox so it is a great place to stop by if you want a cute photo for instagram. However the gelato was very dense and not smooth/fluffy like other places I've been. The cone tasted very bland and plasticky like the cheap ones you buy from the store. Also another note is the lines can get very long! They have a beautiful presentation but it does take time to create. I was lucky enough to come when there wasn't a line but I can imagine what it would have been like on a weekend. read more

This unassuming kiosk in Lenox Square Mall is home to some of the best gelato and sorbet. Many of the flavors are dairy/gluten free too. I also really enjoyed the uniqueness of some of the flavor combinations - citrus and verdant, for instance. My favorite was the mango. It's a little pricey. But, this is inside a high-end mall. They acted like they didn't understand the Yelp coupon too. But, ultimately accepted it. Overall: Highly recommended. Very good ice cream. read more

Even though Amorino Gelato is known for their...well Gelato, I've never actually tried it. I'm lactose and to be honest I've never been a big gelato person but the couple of times I've been here is for their delicious espresso. I remember a couple of years ago coming here around Christmas time when Starbucks was packed with people...can't remember what I ordered but it must of been pretty good because here I am...back again! The company itself has locations all over the world such as Dubai, Barcelona, Paris and Luxembourg. (I only know of this place from watching The West Wing) In the US it only has locations in 12 cities with 2 in Atlanta (the other location is at The Shoppes of Buckhead-the Rodeo Drive of Atlanta https://www.theshopsbuckheadatlanta.com/) Interestingly it also has a shop in Kalamazoo, KS (remember the Glenn Miller song?) As far as hot drinks they also offer Affogato Al Cafe, latte macchiato, espresso ristretto and other drinks that I probably will misspell if I list them any further. Oooooh...I'm in Love! I stopped into this super-cute eatery today around noon while at The Shops at Buckhead (also LOVE!) to try their Rose-shaped Gelato Cone. I chose 3 flavors of Gelato (Pistachio, Strawberry and Vanilla), and it made one Beautiful Cone!! So much so, the cashier even took a pic of me holding it before I left. I didn't get her name, but she was super sweet and helpful...so whoever you are, Thank You! BTW, the Gelato Cone tasted as great as it looked too. "Ti Amo, Amorino Gelato!" Possibly the best Gelato I've had...ever?!? They also have amazing Macarons...and I tried 2 of their flavors, in Blueberry Cheesecake and Vanilla. Again, amazing!! The place itself is equally lovely. Amorino Gelato has been in my sights for some time now. Every time I walk around Lenox Mall, it's there...tempting me. When I finally decided to go for it, the experience was meh. You order by the size (S/M/L) and type (cup vs. cone) you want. Then you proceed to the left and pick your flavors. Dark Chocolate: Very rich and heavy. I was really glad I got the kids size cup cause the regular small would've been way too much. Service: Meh. The service is sub-par. The lady scooping the ice cream got my order wrong. I was with another person and she mixed up our orders. It was a hot mess -.- Overall, it's pricey for the quality (and service). Go to Queen of Cream upstairs! read more

This is inside Lenox mall. A perfect little treat while shopping. The chocolate tasted very rich and heavy. The mango was fruity and more light. The hazelnut tasted hazelnut-y...so overall all the gelato flavors were on point. The macaron has a slight crunch and not too sweet tasting. Since I don't eat a lot of ice cream, this is a perfect dessert to share. You don't have to get it in a flower shape and it will be a bit cheaper. But it was my first time trying so thought I would splurge :) read more

I grab a fresh cup of their Coffee Latte Macchiato, flavored to perfection. I sat down in their Cafe, for a short while enjoying my Latte. Amorino, cashier gave excellent customer service with fabulous ambiance, upscale, clean, with several comfortable tables & chairs. Napkins, Sweeteners, Stirs, were on display for customer usage. I been going this place for years and I realize I never give them a review. Just busy enjoying my gelato or MY Favorite AFFOGATO AL CAFFE!!!! Delicious gelato. You don't really have to know the difference between ice cream and gelato, but once you taste the gelato here, you will be enlightened. And everything else will be a disappointment. All flavors you could imagine . The flavour of the fruits is so delicious. It makes want to taste them all. Natural flavors macaroons are light and perfect, you get to pick one for a topping. Perfect combination. Go, sample, let them help you...and enjoy! Just accept that you will be returning and returning. By the way they have great staff. These classic rose shaped cones with macarons are lovely. Yes they are a bit pricey (close to $10 a cone with the macaron) but if you like gelato, it's worth a try. You can pick as many flavors as you want. I recommend sticking to all fruit or all creamy textures so it's not oddly mixed. The macarons were delicious as well. I tried the lime and basil, passionfruit, and mango with a mango gelato macaron. The only thing is that I think the fruit gelato tastes funny on a cone. If you're getting a creamy gelato, the cone will taste good but for ther fruit ones, I'd go with a cup next time. Service was so friendly and patient. read more

So the first time we ever tried this place was in downtown Raleigh, NC. It was great and my daughters loved it. They take your gelato and make a rose out of it. Very cute. It was a hit my daughters and their soccer buddies. The gelato is very silky and creamy, absolutely delicious. If you opt for a macaron on top you are in for a treat. I've never been here but decided to give this gelato store a try. This is the best gelato I've ever tasted, closest to the ones from Italy. The owner, Sean, was so nice and made this wonderful flower for me! He is a gem, super sweet and nice! My gelato flavors were mango (which is pretty popular), lime and basil and passion fruit!! We're from NJ and traveled over 10 hours! This place was over an hour from where we were staying and we made the hike all the way just for this place. They close at 7 and at 6:16 they turned us down! There were tears involved, and even the people directly in front of us got served. This was so heartbreaking and makes Atlanta leave a horrible taste in our mouthes. I have personally been to several Amorino locations in Florence, Rome and Sorrento, and real Italians would never be so blatantly rude. read more

Ever since my trip to Italy a couple of years ago, gelato has been my dessert of choice when looking for a sweet treat. I miss the days of walking outside and finding a small (or large chain) shop serving delicious gelato for a fraction of the cost you would find in the US. This mall kiosk at Lenox Mall seems a bit out of place. In the loud white noise of Lenox Plaza, you find what could be an Italian coffee shop scene from a movie, with a small seating area that ALMOST makes you believe you could be relaxing in a tiny cafe. My mom also cannot resist sweets, like me, so encouraged the indulgence. The service was not super friendly. Slightly more patient than what I have encountered in Florence, but not by much. We ended up choosing two flavors that were very similar in color, so the tiny gelato rose she made was not very impressive. I wish she had commented on that instead of just recommending 2-3 flavors maximum on the small gelato cone. The gelato was standard - nothing I hadn't had before, at a premium price for what skimpy amount of gelato we were served. Overall, I wasn't very impressed by service, price or the gelato. But this is America, so what more should I be expecting, right? read more

Every time I come to Lenox and do some retail therapy I always end up coming here before I leave. This little Gelato stand has my 100 % trust. Usually I'm such a picky girl when it comes to flavors. But honestly, this gelato is so fresh, creamy, and delicious that I literally don't have a favorite flavor. What's so great about their gelato is that you don't get that "heavy" and "sugary" feel you may sometimes get when eating commercial ice cream. It comes down to appearance, taste, texture (love a good bite; should not be mealy), chew, and substance. I'm pleased to report that Saint Germain satisfied my sweet (French) tooth. After the sampler, I was done desserting. Yep, sampler. Why settle for one flavor when you can try them all? Well, six. Six. I tried six. And each one was excellent. The staffer was patient and helpful in leading me to a mix that would satisfy my desire to be a bit broad in my tastes but never traveling too far from sweet. Savory is not the move when it comes to these treats. My journey to France by way of Atlanta started with chocolate then went to raspberry violette (what???) then I went to the circus with cotton candy. I got a bit traditional with salted caramel, stayed there with nutella and finished up with creme brulee. When I tell you each macaron was better than the first... wow. You definitely get what you pay for -- so this wouldn't be an everyday splurge but... when you get a hankering pay for the real deal. Your tastebuds will thank you. If you're gonna go, go all in. Next time I'll venture past the macarons... but not too far.

It had a decent peach flavor to it and the top part of the peach had an ice cream texture to it. Would recommend ordering one of their pastries! Service was decent. We received our orders quickly. They are very easy to slip up on and are somewhat dependent on how strong you like your matcha. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. All in all, I'd say we'll likely be back to try something else on the menu.

This was kind of irritating and my daughter had already peeped this as we were standing in line waiting for our sandwiches with our sides on a tray getting cooler and cooler. The line was long and this will likely be the case a lot of the time so this doesn't work well. My daughter had a special order of beef taquitos that had to come out later so you know her sides were cold. When she requested new sides or to warm them up she was met with an attitude by one of the workers so that didn't go over well. This was weird to us because the food shoud be warm at the very least, so customer service was lacking there but they did honor her request. If they are going to keep this cafeteria line style setup, we all thought the meats and entrees should be first and then sides so as to avoid having lukewarm or cold sides because all four of us had cold sides by the time we sat down after getting get our drinks and sauces and stuff. And sides should come out together with the special orders so the food is not cold. But hey, I know I'm not Lewis, but yall got my two cents anyway Overall, we had delicious food in a nice, clean establishment. And on the plus side, the Beltline is literally a few steps away!
