    Gelato in a Cone
    Noa M.

Recently went to the Georgetown location! I had been before in Paris and had remembered thinking it was fun they made the Gelato look like a flower. The Gelato was fine. I asked the employee working if he liked the Dulce De Leche or Caramel better, and he let me have a sample of both. The Carmel had a much better taste, as the other didn't have much taste at all and seemed a little icy. I got Caramel and Coffee. Coffee had three coffee beans in it that were rock hard and unedible. My friend also got the coffee and similarly had rock hard coffee beans in it. We were confused why these were in the ice cream, as they weren't adding to it at all. With so many other ice cream options in Georgetown, I would probably opt elsewhere next time I wanted a sweet treat. This place was also at the far end of M street making it convenient for Georgetown students but not many other people.

Easy to order!! We got three flavors: mango (very tart), tiramisu (yum) and mint chocolate chip! I only got a classic size with 3 scoops but should have gotten a bigger one. Portion was very small for three people to share.

Reason why I gave this rating is because the wait was too long and seemed a bit unorganized when it comes to knowing who has already ordered and who is next in line. There is kiosk's to order, but if you want the gelato, I would prefer to order one-on-one. The spot is right beside Macy's on the bottom floor. I came here a couple of times. Gelato is good! I still don't know how gelato is supposed to taste like but can't complain! The other times I ordered black coffee which is good, nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been wanting to come to the Amorino in Tyson's since I heard it came here. It is located on the first floor near Macys. The last time I tried it was in Italy to try the flower gelato on a cone. It was just as they made it in Italy. I ordered and paid on the kiosk. Then you speak with someone at the case to let them know the flavors you want. They had many different flavors. The gelato is pricier than other ice cream shops. You can get 3 flavors on the small size. The small was still a pretty good size.

Cute little food stall in Tysons corner that sells gelato in a cup or a cone. The cool thing about this is that if you buy it in a cone, they make the gelato look like flowers! My wife and I got a mango and do the Leche cup, and a pistachio and coffee cone and they were pretty darn good. Definitely the fruity flavors taste stronger than the dairy ones. Nonetheless, they were yummy. I'm not quite sure if the price was worth, but I suppose making the flowers look pretty and also Tyson small prices.

Stopped by for a quick treat. Got the small gelato, I got 3 flavors. I forgot the flavors that i got but they scoop it and form it into a rose, pretty nice. They were flavorful but it melted too quickly. They are also pricey, it's definitly worth a try tho. Bottom floor near the elevator and macy's entrance.

We decided to try it out since there was a huge line. The workers are all super friendly and willing to give out lots of samples to make sure you get the exact flavors you want. I will say, the prices are kinda steep for some gelato. But each flavor was unique and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lime basil because it tasted different. The chocolate was also really rich and decadent.

Very pretty and pretty tasty gelato. It's a nice alternative to the other sweets in Tysons. Service was slow, but I chalk that up to it being a new addition. Took 5 minutes to get through with just two people in front of us. They have plenty of flavors, so there's something for everyone. I ordered a classic (second smallest size) while my date ordered the smallest size, but to be honest they both seemed to contain the same amount of gelato - especially considering you can get two different flavors no matter what size. So I'd recommend just going for the smallest size unless you really wanted 3 flavors.

So many flavors and the chocolate on top!

We weren't going to eat anything.  After all, we had just enjoyed a big dinner and were walking around Tysons a bit to try and work off some of those calories when we happened to pass by Amorino.  All the gelato and macarons looked so colorful and so good.  And, when the very nice young man behind the counter offered us our choice of samples, well....  Needless to say, we were happily hooked.  Our favorite flavor was the chocolate hazelnut l'inimitable which was really chocolatey and nutty.  MMMMM  I have to admit, we have absolutely no regrets and plan on returning to try one of those really pretty looking signature cones with the macarons and the gelato together!  Maybe next time, this will be our dinner!  Either way, we can't go wrong

They had the usual selection of flavors, not a whole lot of unique flavors. They create this cute rose with the gelato and sorbets.

Tastes good, but far too expensive. Paid $13+ for their smallest cup and it was gone in a few bites. Save your money and the calories.

It's ordinary and it took long time to get the ice cream because it takes more time to make the "rose" rather than just a scoop.

This cafe is located in Vienna, and there's plenty of free slanted parking in front as well as parking in the complex next to and across if you're willing to walk. I've been to this location when it first opened years ago and they've really upped their menu and decorations inside since. The ambiance inside is beautiful, ideal for anyone looking for a good Instagram picture. There's so many angles and details so that no matter where you're sitting, there's a good vibe. There's also gorgeous seating outside since it can get crowded. For food, you order from the front and they'll call you when the food is ready. We ordered the dubai gelato and pistachio lokmas. Both were presented tastefully to make sure our eyes and cameras wanted to eat before our stomachs. The dubai gelato was a quality dessert with a good ratio of milk: cream. The pistachio flavor was evident on top, but it was just a kinda tart vanilla ice cream with toppings. I did like it, however, and it paired well with the lokmas. The lokmas were fried to perfection, a nice amount of chewy, and covered with a good ratio of pistachio cream. They were a decent size and conducive to sharing. The prices of everything, overall, was pretty expensive, but the quality definitely made up for it. I'd recommend this cafe to someone looking for a unique sweet treat, catching up with a group of girl friends of 2-4 people, or for a first date!

I like the new menu and see a lot of things that I would enjoy. - Prosciutto Fig Farm Bread - I really liked this. Two long slices of bread sliced into pieces with a slice of prosciutto over mascarpone cheese and balsamic glaze. The bread was soft which I liked. - Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip - nice crab and artichoke taste with plenty of grilled ciabetta bread. - Butternut Squash & Mascarpone Ravioli with sage brown butter - really nice if you like butternut squash, slightly sweet. It wasn't the best I have had but it was very good. - Meatloaf - it came with mashed potatoes and carrots and looked like a big, hearty portion Llie was our server. She was truly outstanding - the best we have had at Founding Fathers! She had a sweet smile, very positive, warm, helpful, and quick to respond to the myriad of requests for ice, lemons, salt and pepper, another appetizer. For my birthday, she brought a donut with whipped cream with Happy Birthday stenciled in confectioner sugar on a wooden cutting board. Very nice! Also, I appreciated the hostess today who needed to get more validation parking tickets. I was seated by someone else, and the hostess walked to the very back of the restaurant to find me and give me the two that I had requested. The parking garage has gotten more confusing since I was there last. There are two Founding Fathers parking spaces to the immediate left when you enter with the brown strip on the floor. Maybe there is more, but those are the two I noticed. The rest seem to be reserved with a yellow strip for other companies. I had to go up to the 2nd floor to find a space. You don't take a ticket when you enter. There was a QR code to scan and enter your license plate number by the 2nd floor elevator, but I kept pressing Continue even outside the garage and could not get the webpage to take my license or have an indication of it knew about my car. I was there about 2.5 hours, and the fee at the box when I exited was close to $15 but with the Founding Father's 2 hour validation, it was more like $5.
