This business format be it membership or so-called late and cancellation Reschedule policies are unethical, un yielding, and I believe downright WRONG. Building a business on charging people's credit cards for no services is unsustainable. I did receive a service and scheduled a 10 day follow up. After trying numerous times to change this appointment and was unable, I was in a NO SHOW situation. The "policy" is 100-400$ charge for no show and similar charge for cancellation. I should have left when a lady came in 10 minutes late and was told no service and she was going to be charged. Obviously she was upset. Tyler was amazing, the service was complete however this strategy of charging your card along with very strict guidelines in today's world doesn't make for a successful business . At first I was happy to come to their place of business. They are running a special where you paid $189 up front because that's how it's done there. The deal was 50 units of Botox, a lip flip, and a $50 gift certificate. Then if you want to get more you can do that. That's what they lead you to believe. I got there and there was only one woman waiting. The lady who worked on facials came right away to see me. You see I have Melasma. She said she has the perfect regimen for Melasma. From then on that is what our topic was. As she was administering my facial she had brought over some kit she has to take that problem away it was $950. I don't know how, but she had already in her mind said yes. But I didn't. So she takes me to my Botox appointment. Once again she was telling the Botox lady that I wanted to purchase the kit. It seemed to me that all she wanted to do was take more money from me. Because at this point the Botox girl asked me where I wanted the Botox. I told her, I wanted my whole face done and she said she couldn't because I only paid for 50 units and it takes I don't know how much because every time I told her what I wanted to work on she said she couldn't. I mean everything I asked her to do was a "no" because it will make my face look bad. So like her facial friend she stared telling me how much it was going to cost cause I need fillers. At this time they had discussed everything they wanted do with my face it was over $4000 so as they were trying to figure out how much I could pay with my Credit Card it was outrageous! So I got upset about it and told her to give me the tox I paid for, guess what, she took a small syringe and only put 2 shots at my 11 between my eyebrows and a lip flip. If I wanted more I had to pay for it. So I told them, you know what I don't want anything else this is fine right where your at. I got upset and went home. Service was wonderful, however I strongly recommend not using the Cherry finance option unless you really take the time to study and think about it . I decided to sign up for a future service of IPL and it was a set of three sessions . I went home and realized I should hold of , sadly I was laid off from my job and Cherry only offers three months at 0 interest. After that it is 33% interest. I cancelled my future IPL appointment with Amplified Beauty. I was advised I'd need to go through Cherry Finance to get the future payments for the service stopped. Now, I'm currently working with Cherry Finance for resolution . If I don't get my agreement stopped my choices will be to go finish my procedures, which I do want. It's just not a good time for this finically . Moral,please stop and think before getting excited and signing agreements. read more

She has such attention to detail and her "bedside manner" is top tier. She makes you feel like a longtime friend. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I booked a $200 facial with this company, the appt also included a quick free follow up from a treatment two weeks prior. I tried to reschedule through their app, it was broken and wouldn't process my request. I called the morning of the appointment to reschedule, but they still charged me a $400 cancellation fee--double the cost of the actual service. Stating that even though 10 min follow up was free I was charged $200 because it took away from their time slot. I made a good-faith effort to reschedule for another day. I understand businesses have policies, but this is unethical, especially given their tech issues. Charging double the service price is not only excessive--it's unconscionable and may be a violation of Arizona consumer protection laws, which require that cancellation fees be reasonable and proportional to the cost of the service. The manager would not speak over the phone, only text. I gave her the opportunity to reverse charges before I took this to the next step. If you're considering booking here don't. They won't stay in business much longer. read more

She said I had to give them 48 hours notice. It was 47 1/2 hours notice and she said that was not enough time. I have never been to this business before and she basically said she didn't care. I have been trying to get a hold of a live person to reschedule my upcoming appt on August 1st 12:00 since July 29th. I left a detailed message on July 30th @ 9:17am on their voice mail and expected a call back- No return call. I also declined my appt on my calendar that connects to theirs. I was worried of getting charged the $200.00 for not canceling or rescheduling on time so I kept calling on July 31st and left a few messages, the final message was at 1;56pm stating I would like to cancel my membership as I will never return to their office due to lack of communication. Money hungry clinic. Try to upsell the whole time. Botox takes forever to kick in. Almost 3 weeks, once the Botox kicked in I called to cancel my follow up appointment, over 24 hours before the appointment. They told me no, because it was less than 48 hours before and they would charge $200 fee. I told them there was no point in the appointment because I would not be spending any money. Come the day of the appointment I drive up to north Scottsdale, my appointment was at 10 but I mixed it up for 10:15. At 10:14 right when I'm arriving they charge me $200. I talked to the receptionist who then told me they can't see me and they already charged me. The only reason they didn't want to see me is because they knew I wasn't spending anymore money. Not that they need it because I already spend $700+ dollars. DO NOT GO HERE. Also they didn't even put the Botox in the place I wanted. I'm 24 and can't move my eyebrows. Initially, she was hopeful about the services they offered, but her experience quickly soured. When my girlfriend attempted to switch the service she had originally booked, she was hit with an immediate $200 cancellation fee. Not only was this fee excessive, but she was also told she couldn't reschedule or change to another service. The owner's response was dismissive and unhelpful, leaving her feeling trapped and frustrated. To make matters worse, the owner expressed that she didn't believe she was a good fit for their services, which was both unprofessional and unnecessary. It was clear that she lacked the courtesy and flexibility that is standard practice in the beauty industry. Overall, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for beauty services. The experience was disappointing and left a bad impression of Amplify Beauty's approach to customer service and industry standards. Similarly, $100 was taken from another person for services apparently never booked. Sounds suspect. In total, the owner had taken $300 in total for no services rendered. We have extensive experience in this industry and have never came across these challenges in and around Scottsdale. Thousands of better qualified and helpful professionals out there. I have been coming here for about 6 months now and can say each visit is better than the last . From Emily the owner who does amazing work in the Botox / dysport and filler realm to Natalie who does life changing facials . I am happy I have chosen to invest in myself . A few things I would recommend : Emily : she is the main point of contact for all things including booking. She has made it so that her clients can continue there Botox and filler routines by allowing people to have a monthly membership that banks the money for future services . This is great for those who want to upkeep but can't afford to pay a lump sum at once for service . This membership also allows for you to use the banked money for monthly facials with Natalie or to purchase product to keep up my facial routine at home. Natalie : if you think you have ever had the best facial then you have never met Natalie . She not only pays attention to the details and needs of your individual skin , but helps you build a routine to continue the results at home . She recommends products that you really need not just to upsell . And can we talk about how gorgeous my skin is after each facial ??? It feels and looks amazing . This establishment is small and beautiful. I rarely give a 5/5 star review, however this business is a 5/5. The prices are very competitive and the practitioner is very specialized and knowledgeable. I received Botox around my crows feet and during the injection process I did not even feel the injection. She verbally described the post injection instructions in a manner that was detailed and easily understood. Her staff was wonderful and pleasant. I felt very comfortable in her office and procedure room. My Smile lines was not noticeable even in the slightest over a weeks time! I would highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone that is looking for some fine tuning on their experience lines. I am very grateful for Emily and her steady surgeon hands. Amplified Beauty had a sale for new customers so I decided to contact them so I can get Dysport on my 11's. I was pretty nervous, since I've never had filler or botox before. Emily explained the risks and also gave advice on where and how much dysport to use. I felt comfortable with Emily and had amazing results. It's been about 3 months now and I still see that the dysport is still working. I've since had another appointment for filler and more botox. I waited to make this review 2 weeks post to make sure I was happy with the results. I saw Miranda, who by the way is amazing! She is so friendly, and sweet and makes you feel comfortable. I chatted way too much, which I tend to do when I'm nervous, but she made me feel so comfortable. This was my first time getting filler. I had cheek, lip and a little bit of chin filler, as well as botox on my masseter. I was a tad nervous when I first left my appointment because I felt like I looked a little like Maleficent, but after the swelling went down (about two weeks) and my cheeks look amazing! I have more definition in my jaw line, my lips look full! My TMJ has greatly improved. I no longer wake up with pain in my neck and the back of my head. We sent her a text cancelling the appointment a week before yet she still charged a $100 cancellation fee. We contacted her and she claimed she never received the text, we provided a screen shot and told her to cancel the fraudulent charge, we never heard from her again. Wonderful small business and right in the middle of old town so all my beauty needs are in one place! Emily is the best injector I've had so far! I recently switched to her to have my Botox completed and so far I have had forehead eyebrow in between my eyes and Masseters(if that's how you spell it). Also have completed and lip filler dissolving and book my appointment for new lip fillers. Honestly painless! I was so scared to switch injectors because my last injector wasn't very gentle, but Emily was amazing I would rate all of those procedures a 1/10 on the pain scale! She's fully aware and skilled at her job and talks over pricing and the appointment before hand, a true professional! And she's a positive and upbeat person to be around, definitely lifts your mood!
