I found this shop on instagram and saw that they were selling pokemon cards which has been tricky to find at MSRP. I thought this shop was going to be good and I expected them to be a few bucks higher so they could make profit, but WWWOOOOWWWW was I wrong. They post photos of there staff with "high amounts" of restock to show that they have alot. The only reason they have alot of because they are selling WAY WAY WAY WAY above MSRP and even beyond that! I was going in to get a Phantasmal Flames ETB. I would normally get them for 55-65 from my other card shop but were sold out. The staff was trying to charge me over 120-140 for 1!!!! That is ridiculous and I see why they have so much in stock. Because no one wants to pay high amounts like that! If you feel like getting ripped off and taken advantage of for your money then go right ahead! But I will definitely never come back here or refer this shop to any of my friends or colleagues. I stopped by to pick up some new glass as well as a grinder. There were two employees at the shop and I was instantly greeted. I was helped by an employee named Gideon (I think?) and she gave the absolute best customer service. I must have asked over 50 questions and she did a 1on1 with me going over their full inventory for a piece I'd like. Afterwards I opted to add a few more accessories to my cart and we had a great conversation which helped me find something I wasn't even looking for at the time. I've been coming here for a couple years now and every time I pop in I'm always greeted like I'm family and will take the time to ask me about my day and will carry on a genuine conversation. This is a curious shop. It's really a smoke shop, to be honest, but they've got a few aisles of interesting international candies and chips, too. As might be expected in a smoke shop, they also have about a hundred different water pipes for sale here, some of which are quite elaborate. They are right there in the open in the middle of the store. Personally, I have no problem with water pipes (I'm trying to be diplomatic with the terminology) but just know that kids are welcome in the store. So fair warning to anyone who might be offended. Prices are high for the foreign candies but I didn't expect any bargains. The selection isn't enormous but it's enough for a ten minute browse. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. I'm so glad that IG influencers introduced us to this place. Although it is far, we were able to find my kid a labubu. I was simultaneously happy and embarrassed to take them, but I kind of played it off by buying some sodas, in addition to our treasures. But the icing on our cupcakes was staff. The products themselves are amazing -- no complaints there. But the customer service? Absolutely horrible. The staff came across as incredibly entitled and dismissive, like they were doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence. Most of them seemed very young and unfortunately acted like they had never been trained in basic customer service etiquette. No greeting, no eye contact, and a serious attitude when asked simple questions. It felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. If management put even half as much effort into training their team as they do into their product line, this place could actually live up to its potential. Until then, I won't be returning. Honestly really wanted to like this place since I saw posts with the snacks and junk food that they post on their socials. Lots of neat imported snacks like chips, candies, cookies, and sodas from all around the world, especially international versions of junk food household names that we're already so accustomed to like Oreos, Fanta, Kit Kat, Lays, etc. I understand that some of these items are limited edition, seasonal goods and that they do have to be imported in, but I'm not going to lie that some of the prices can be pretty egregious. Think $6-10+ for a bottle of soda or $5 for a single bar or small bag of candy. It is a bit pricier than what I can comfortably agree on paying for, maybe even a $1-3 decrease on certain things would have made a difference in my decision on whether or not I wanted to purchase it or not. I think the thing for me is that some of these items can be easily found at an Asian supermarket, Tokyo Central, Nijiya, Mitsuwa, 168 Market, GW Market, 99 Ranch Market, HK Marketplace, etc for a mere fraction of the price is what is jarring to me. I know not everything could be found locally and that it's not a one stop shop like Sunny Hill Exotics, but for some more of the common "exotic" snacks and drinks, they can easily be purchased elsewhere, even at somewhere like Daiso. Other than snacks they are also a smoke shop, so you can get imported cigars and other smoking accessories as well. Overall an interesting visit at least. read more

I came here for the snacks. Pretty decent selection. A little out of my price range but I think these were fair prices all the same. The clerk was very kind. I bought a bag of freeze dried skittles for my nephews and nieces and was given a discount as well as a free Oreo cake. Very classy. I told my sisters about all the imported treats and one of them took my nephew to pick out some things. Whoever was working the counter gave him one of the $10 drinks for free.
