    Labubu Forest Fairy Tale
    Arielle D.

Came inside the store with my mom today to check if there were any whole sets of the Have A Seat and Big Into Energy Labubu. Sadly, they only sell individual boxes but luckily, there were other items that I absolutely love. With the help from Shar, I decided to get the Labubu Fairy Tale Duck, and she is so adorable! I'm happy about my purchase, and all of the employees are all amazing. I would definitely come back again soon.

Went last night to grab some snacks, first time coming here so was interested in seeing what they had. Honestly didn't know what to grab and one of the girls that was working helped me out, she was super cool and helpful! Definitely going to come back and try others.

Big Labubu girl here. I've been looking for the new Big Into Energy Series everywhere -- Popmart restocks, PopNow, collectible stores. My bestie called Sunny Hills La Habra, found out they had them in stock and we were there in 30 minutes. This store had so much fun stuff in it, plus two gems -- Sofia and Mia. They greeted us, answered questions, let us pick which blind boxes we wanted. We bought 6 Labubu's all together and the girls were so cute getting excited with us as we opened our picks. I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for Labubu's or other collectibles.

New bong and grinder from Sunny Hills Exotics

I stopped by to pick up some new glass as well as a grinder. There were two employees at the shop and I was instantly greeted. I was helped by an employee named Gideon (I think?) and she gave the absolute best customer service. I must have asked over 50 questions and she did a 1on1 with me going over their full inventory for a piece I'd like. Afterwards I opted to add a few more accessories to my cart and we had a great conversation which helped me find something I wasn't even looking for at the time. I would highly recommended coming back just for the awesome customer service. Big shoutout to Gideon for being awesome! If I got your name wrong I'm sorry!

Yes! They always have the vapes I love plus LABUBUS now!!! Fun snacks and drinks. Plus they are open late. Probably going back tonight after work

Some of the interesting international candies here.

This is a curious shop. It's really a smoke shop, to be honest, but they've got a few aisles of interesting international candies and chips, too. As might be expected in a smoke shop, they also have about a hundred different water pipes for sale here, some of which are quite elaborate. They are right there in the open in the middle of the store. Personally, I have no problem with water pipes (I'm trying to be diplomatic with the terminology) but just know that kids are welcome in the store. So fair warning to anyone who might be offended. Prices are high for the foreign candies but I didn't expect any bargains. The selection isn't enormous but it's enough for a ten minute browse. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. If you are in the area, check them out.

Pretty cool spot, they have a lot of unique flavors of soda, candy, chips, and etc. There are plenty of options to choose from. I tried the Dragon Fruit Fanta. It was unique and tasty, had the right amount of sweetness. I can see why there was only 2 left in the fridge. The grape flavored mentos were okay. But I definitely will be back to try other things.

Having grown up on the east side of Whittier, California--not to be…read moreconfused with the unincorporated census-designated place known officially as East Whittier--I was spoiled by the absolute surfeit of drive-thru dairies near my childhood home. There was the one on Whittier Boulevard in La Habra; the one in the confusing triangle created by Leffingwell, Lambert, and Santa Gertrudes in, yes, East Whittier; and some others that either no longer exist or aren't terribly close to Whittier but which we still frequented. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I think I was driving my parents home from somewhere and we planned to eat at a restaurant we found out was closed. We were near Vinny's in La Habra, so I figured we could order a pizza on our way home. Well, we were so close to Vinny's that the pizza wouldn't be ready for another forty-five minutes. We ended up ordering, so we had time to kill. My dad only drinks beer with pizza, Mexican food, and sometimes with backyard-grilled burgers. He rarely barbecues, and when they're by themselves at home (as opposed to when I and/or my siblings and their families are visiting), my parents don't normally order pizza. And they only really eat Mexican food at restaurants. So they don't buy much beer. What we usually have is whatever is left over from the last party they threw. Anyway, we were fresh out of beer, and my dad mentioned that we should stop somewhere to get some. Just as he said this, we passed right by this drive-thru dairy. An old dairy that none of us knew about? My dad claimed to know about it, but he never brought me here, and he took me everywhere when I was a kid. Anyway, I made a U-turn, and they had some kind of deal on twenty-four packs of Modelo or Dos Equis, so for the first time in my life, I bought my dad beer. We ended up continuing south on Euclid all the way to Anaheim and reminiscing about our late cousin and his family, who still live near the mall in whose parking lot we turned around. Our pizza was ready right when we returned to Vinny's, which was forty-eight minutes after we ordered it. When we got home, I put a bottle of beer in the freezer to cool it down quickly while my dad set the table and my mom made a salad. He enjoyed his beer, and I think that twenty-four pack lasted for almost two years in the refrigerator in my parents' garage. This drive-thru dairy appeared just when we needed it.

I got excited as we walked in because of how cool the vibe was inside the restaurant! Modern and clean aesthetic ... such a surprise! I had already looked at the menu the night before, so I made some suggestions for our party of four adults and kiddo. Our server brought fresh sourdough rolls with seasoned butter. Solid start. We then ordered the stuffed 'shrooms and proscuitto-arugula pizza as starters. Both were very excellent, and was tell-tale of what we were about to experience with our entrees. Entrees ordered were the rigatoni with vodka sauce, the pappardelle with shortrib (two servings but really enough food for at least four ppl!) and the chicken Parmesan salad. Everything was impressive, especially the pappardelle dish. With the beurre blanc and creamy Alfredo sauce with two huge pieces of short rib that were fork tender, it was the star of the evening. This dish is made table-side to ensure that it's eaten immediately. The portions were enough for four ppl, and the sauce is just absolutely decadent. Service was attentive and prompt. Our server was lovely! She shared her favorites with us, and we followed suit by ordering her favorite desserts too! The bread pudding was amazing, but the carrot cake, being a new recipe, was just a bit too sweet for our palates. Plenty of parking as it is onsite. Loved that!

We didn't get her name but she had glasses and septum nose piercing. She was more accommodating at then end but we were very off put at the beginning and it left a bad taste in our mouths. Our server at our table was the complete opposite. Very attentive and made the group less angry with our initial treatment. Wish I got her name to share. The desert and cocktails were nice but due to the service it did not make up for the overall experience. Desert: Tiramisu 4/5 - great flavor, ratio of cream was too much compared to cake portion Canolli 4/5 - duo flavors were nice and had a good shell with crunch Crème brûlée 2/5 - pistachio flavor was light and it's was almost too warm and liquidy. Cocktails overall some major hits and other misses. Sgroppino 5/5 - strong but with a great flavor profile Dragon fruit cocktail 2/5 - too light tasting, not much flavor or alcohol? Gave more juice Peach Bellini 4.5/5 - table side pour is nice touch and rest of bottle was nice. Syrup has a sourness but mixed in with Bellini and gelato and tasted just right. Melontini - 2.5/5 light, somewhat good flavor but nothing memorable. Ambience seems nice but it can be loud inside with open floor plan.

TL;DR- good food, portions good to share, tiny indoor restaurant, service is lacking if you're not…read morekorean Both times I've tried this spot I was eating by myself. A year or two ago I got take out for the spicy cold noodle and galbi combo, and recently i had the same order but for dine in. The noodles definitely taste best when you eat there bc after a 30 min drive home it got soggy (as expected but i had an intense craving for cold noodles that day) Nothing wow'd me that day but i thought it may have just been bc i ordered take out so while I was in the area and craving cold noodles again, I decided to give it another try. There's a whiteboard to put your name down when there's a wait, but it didn't seem like they were keeping track of ppl that way anyway. Inside the restaurant it's very cozy with maybe 8-10 tables max. I got seated in the very back of the restaurant near the closet door that houses the restroom, so it was kind of bothersome to hear the door keep clanking open and closed and people walking by to use it. I am super hesitant to try out korean places w/o being w a korean bc i noticed that the treatment isn't as friendly. Everyone else around me had at least one korean speaking person w them. I came before a different party of 2 but when looking to seat the next person idk if she saw me or not or hadnt realized i came before them. They got sat right in front of the cash register area. After I sat down i felt neglected and i noticed the other party who came after me had their order taken first which isn't a huge deal but it did make me feel a bit more neglected hahaha After taking my order the food did come out extremely fast. The noodles came out first with the banchan, there were 6 different ones: cabbage kimchi, pickled radish slices, radish kimchi, savory jelly , kabocha squash w/ a creamy white onion ish dressing, , fish cake. the lady brought out tongs and scissors and helped cut the noodles a bit for me and instructed me to mix it. There was also a small bowl of cold broth that tasted so refreshing on a hot day. In the cold noodles there were more slices of pickled radish, pickled cucumber slices, julienned cucumber, half an egg, some beef, and spicy sauce and some nutty powder :) i loved the strong sesame oil flavor and the noodles went rly well with some of the cold broth mixed in With the combo portion there were 5 pcs of galbi atop a bed of sliced onions on a sizzling plate. I knew i wanted to take food home so I felt like i shouldve known to ask for the check and a box prior to being ready to leave bc once it came time for me to ask for the bill, the feeling of neglect came over me again! LOL Many other patrons were leaving and so they were working on bussing tables. I am in the back so i tried to flag someone down to get the check. a different lady saw me and told the original server , i thought i heard her acknowledge me. Then she gave the check and paid out another party, and the party of 2 after me also left before i could pay out. Then i finally got my turn to pay out my tab! all in all the lady was nice when i did interact with her but it was difficult to ask for anything if i did need to. bill came out to $41 after tax and tip for a galbi bibim naengmyun combo. i'm interested in the other menu items but i probs would not come again unless i have a korean w me! the whole experience took me abt 1 hr, at 12;30 pm on a thursday 20 mins waiting, 5 mins to order, then paid, packed my food, and left at the end of the hour~ although i saw other customers getting to finish a lot sooner who came after me maybe 45 minutes :)

.., meet Whittier's Uptown hero!…read more My experience here was from 6/26/26 & it did not disappoint. Though I've been to Uptown Provisions twice before to support my friend Andrew M, as well as my other friend Andrew P. with Satori Coffee Project, this was my actual visit where I finally ate! Third times the charm! Tucked nicely into a Penn St. neighborhood, Uptown Provisions can easily be spotted by the loyal patrons waiting/dining outside. May the street parking gods be kind to you as they always provide me with a spot nearby. Knowing what I already wanted from doing my menu homework the night prior, I was practically drooling on my way in. Greeted by a great staff & friendly fellow patrons, I felt right at home. I went with the "Tom's Way" sandwich. Dedicated to one of their favorite customers, it's a crossover between an egg sandwich & a pastrami. It was perfect! Chef Aaron describes his sandos as the perfect West Coast sandwich, & that I can totally agree with. Tom's Way provided me with a robust sandwich blend that never knew I needed until now. Each component's flavor profile blended together nicely. I'm usually hit or miss with rye bread, but this rye hit the mark & held the ship together. The eggs were made with care & prepared in a way I've never tasted before, very delicious. Pastrami was tender, pickled onions provided the bitter tangy component while the broccoli slaw became the soothing blanket that nestled every flavor together. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They post a 20 minute wait time but I got mine in 15. Great things come to those who wait. They do not have a public bathroom so plan your visit accordingly. They have a few counter seats inside with plenty more outdoor seating in front with friendly locals chatting it up. Don't be shy with the napkins. Thank you Uptown Provisions for a great experience, I shall return!
