It's Tuesday afternoon at 1:55PM. I walked in to purchase Lottery and a coke. The male cashier with a heavy accent immediately said; ohhhh.., I don't have change for $100 bill. Another male cashier walked over and asked what the problem was, he told him, the second male responded, we should have change. The male with the accent said, no, I just turned in my box. No apology whatsoever, unprofessional is an understatement. Lots of people NEED jobs, perhaps, this individual isn't one of them. I visit the dog groomer next door every 2 weeks. Was hired there and the first two days of training, the managers have attitudes and teach everything quickly and one time only. If you ask a question, they make you feel stupid about it and have even more attitude & wont teach you again. Gotta remember it the first time, and remember EVERYTHING. They have a huge parking lot and I am handicapped but I needed air for my car I couldn't go any further The machine wouldn't take credit cards and it wouldn't take cash This is after I pump my gas by the way I walked in and asked if they would turn on the air they said they do not do that they said you have to use your receipt I asked them if they can print it they said they couldn't because somebody had was on my pump I don't know exactly why so I went back and I pump 20 more dollars and then that machine didn't print or receipt so I had to walk back in there and they were trying to argue until I had to be louder and let them know that I pump more gas and I needed the new receipt I told him exactly how much and they gave it to me I finally had to walk back to put air so I could get home safely This place is horrible I'm obviously physically challenged I wish they would do better read more

Avoid if possible. They gouge on fuel pricing. Much higher than most other Arco stations usually Arco is 30 cent's cheaper than the other chains. Even the ones in LA County are cheaper. Guess they figure they can take advantage of being at a freeway off ramp to take advantage of us. Also, don't wast your money with their car wash... it's a car rinse at best. They won't even let you go through a second time if it leaves dirt behind. For $20 they could at least allow that. They just look at you with empty doll eyes like there aren't any brains behind them. I was at ampm 1138 E 20th St, Upland, CA 91784 at about 8:30 PM April 5, 2025 the Mexican woman who was working was arguing with some guys and I heard her say F their mama that was very rude of her and unprofessional. The new touchless car wash that they installed at this location is absolutely completely totally worthless! It has fancy lights but it will not get your car clean. I paid $20 for the best car wash and when I drove my car out it looked just as bad as when I drove it in. Made an impromptu stop here yesterday, as my car broke down, so my experience was limited to a couple of visits to the cashiers. The facility was extremely clean, lots of choices, and a nice traveling stop over. The cashiers, in my opinion, need a little more effort on their friendliness. Nice clean gas station, where theres no other ones around. Prime location, great investment (right above the 210). This is ARCO, so if you're planning on stopping, just know that this is a cash/debit operation only. I personally HATE getting gas at places like this because that's real sucky in todays world, where credit cards have such great "point systems" for using your credit card at restaurants, gas stations or grocery stores. When it comes to service, it's great (there always seems to be 3+ employees on-site). A restroom is available in doors (just ask for a key) this is how they ensure low graffiti, and a clean restroom). MANY pumps are available, and their coffee selection is huge, they have tons of different creamers, syrups, a whip cream machine etc! Their food is always fresh, they mark each item with time expiration, ensuring fresh readily available hot food (hamburgers, hot dogs) etc. Plenty of drinks, with fridges labels "energy drinks", "diet", "sodas", "beer" etc. Making it easy on the eyes. read more

If you like AmPm's new price on sodas, this IS NOT the one to go to. Every other AmPm charges tax on the cost of the fountain drink which is .87 cents, so in this case it comes out to .93 cents. So why does it cost .97 cents at this AnPm? Because they tax you on $1.25 instead of the actual price of 87cents then they give you a rebate of .38 cents which comes out to .97 cents. It must be the "new math". Plus the gas there is almost .20 cents higher per gallon than other AmPm's. read more

RIP OFF!!!! I live near the area & every time I get gas my gas meter doesn't go up so they're ripping people off! I even did a $10 fill just to test it yesterday & sure enough didn't go up not a bit and I thought...maybe as I drive it will go up but nothing, I had to go to a shell right after cause I was low on fuel. In my opinion, an employee is stealing. My 19 year old daughter gave a $50 bill inside and asked for a car wash code and the rest to be put on the pump. She pumped her gas, got the car wash, then went in to get her change...about $11. She was told there was a shift change and couldn't get her money because it needed to come from the drawer of guy who just left, otherwise their drawers would be off. This is crazy! She argued the craziness of this but just received a receipt (that said the change was already given) and told to come back in the morning. She called me and when I asked for the money, I was told the same thing. Come back tomorrow for the change, there was nothing he could do. This guy's name was Mussie or something like that. I called the police. When he saw that I was not backing down, he called a manager and then gave us the change. However, not the correct change...it was about $.15 short. I complained to the manager a few days later and was given 2 car wash coupons as a good will gesture. (This is why they're are 2 stars instead of just 1) I was told she would look into it and it was not store policy to refuse to give change. I came back today to use a car wash coupon, but the but wash was out of order. I asked for an extension for my coupon but was told they don't do that and to keep checking back to see if the car wash is fixed. There is no phone number listed, so I can't call to see if it's fixed. They expect me to drive over to see. Management needs to hire competent people. The store is nice and well stocked, the location is awesome, but they have lost a customer in me. read more

This place runs a bad business. Tried to swipe my atm debit card came back decline. The guy says oh our internet not working.. I have money in my account so he said we have ATM machine inside which charges 3 bucks!!! My point is bad business how do you run a business when your debit card machine is not working due to your internet is down or up. This happen more then once at this place. So Mr owner please seek better internet service so your machine can properly work. Paid inside for gas on one pump and went out to pump it and it didn't work. Went back in and told attendant he then said he credited the wrong pump and acted like I would have to pay again. I told him I don't care turn on the pump I paid for. He then made me wait while he went and talked to the pump he did credit and then came in and said I would have to wait until they came and paid for the gas. They of course we not going to because it was more then what they planed on paying. He finally turned it on when I told him I was going to call the police because he took our money and did not give up the gas we paid for. Another women was upset because she was trying to fill her RV and he kept charging here 35 cent for ever 100 she spent because she kept having to come back in and tell him she was trying to fill her tank but he was only approving 100 at a time. read more

It's OK. My biggest complaint are the painfully slow gas pumps. When you swipe your card, the pump takes forever to go through the prompts asking you whether it's Debit, do you accept their ridiculous $0.35 fee, and if you want a car wash. Then, once you start pumping gas, it'll take quite a while to fill your tank, I've never seen gas pumps slower than these. read more

First impression was wow a gas station on a beautiful hill and it was clean, Well lit and had an amazing beverage selection with a whipping topping machine... but the service yiiiick. I put $60 cash in the machine and started to fill up....in the meantime my friend went in to get some ice ( keep in mind she brought in her own reusable cups because we are environmental like that ). She filled the cup with ice told the attendant who was in the way back of the store goodnight and left. The station was quite large and as she was almost back to the car we heard a whistle. we turn around and there was a guy whistling at the door not sure who he was whistling to as there was another car with fighting children there she got in the car. Soon after the pump stopped at $30 so I walked to the store and told the guy "hey our pump stopped at $30" he said "yeah I stopped it" "and why Did you stop it"he said "because that girl took Ice" so I replied "for ice you stopped it? How much could Ice be. " he said " $.40." I asked him if that is how he really does business. He said yes. I said "you will lose the $30 of a sale for $.40 that doesn't seem good." He said "I don't care." Then I asked him for the $30 back and I'll pay him his 40 cents for ice he said no that I have to go hang up the pump first so I walked back to the gas pump first. not waiting to deal with him again I sent my husband in. The attendant ended up throwing the $30 at him. Obviously the guy was power tripping. ...he should have said something while she was in the store. Or stopped the pump $.40 shy of the $60 if he was smart. ... but I guess he wasn't. I would have given it one star but the inside of the Arco was really well stocked well lit and stocked ... but for me service is a very important of business. This location is convenient for me. It is right off the 210. Prices are always the same arco decent prices. The mini mart is always open and the employees are friendly. Bathroom is ok, When you gotta go you gotta go, lol ... Lots of pumps plus they have a drive through car wash that is convenient as well. No complaints. Is it weird to review a gas station? Cause I'm glad I can. This place is on my way to work and I stop by everytime. I really love this place and recently whilst browsing I discovered that they have vegan food! Vegan BBQ sandwiches and vegan steak sandwiches and quinoa salads. It's pretty neat. This gas station allows prostitution on their property. How do I know? There was a young girl scantily clad alone standing near the back of the lot near the vacuums at night. I was watching her the whole time I was pumping gas. As I saw an employee who was cleaning up the property approach her I was sure he was going to ask her to leave. Instead they waved at each other and chatted and when he left she leaned into a car talked to another guy and then got in his car and left. My visit to this gas station was excellent! We pulled up and it looked really nice and the restroom was very clean. The gas pumped at a normal speed unlike what other reviewers experienced. Great location too right off the freeway. I will visit this station again! read more
