Worst car cash I have ever had. My car came out dirtier than when it went in. Soap was not washed off and then the soap was just blow dried on the car and windows. Dirt and soap spots were everywhere. I couldn't see out of any of the windows afterwards. read more

This Arco station recently changed hands. I had just purchased a $30 CarWash punchcard and when I went to use it, I was turned down because of the new ownership. When I protested, the manager said they were going to accept the cards. The problem is, the whole CarWash has closed down. We've tried four different times to get our car washed. At first, we were told it was gonna be down for one week, but now the manager says it's indefinite as to when or if it will even reopen. But they are still selling the punchcards online! And the old phone number is disconnected now, with no updated phone number added on the website. I'm not happy with a business that will take your money for a service they don't even offer. read more

I needed to stop in this morning to get some water and use a restroom. The restroom was easy to find, no key to use, and was clean and stocked. The variety of snacks, drinks and pre-made foods was good and the shop was clean. Employee behind the counter was polite and professional. No one is realistically going to look at a review for gasoline / petrol station / car wash / convenience store in deciding where to get gas. The last adjective is what they are all about : convenience. This stations is right off the freeway, with on-ramp that's in the reverse - so it has that. But that being said, the place had a cigarette smell permeating throughout the entire store - makes no sense as indoor smoking in stores have been banned for years but that's how it smelled. You didn't want to stay there long. And ever since ARCO covered up their debit card readers / cash machines at the pumps, I've been avoiding ARCO stations unless I absolutely had to. read more

I've tried having a conversation with her a million times only to get nothing but attitude and be ignored. I have the ampm app on my phone so I can scan my barcode to get points. Lori loves to take my phone out of my hand and aggressively throw it down on the counter like my phones a piece of garbage.. Because it's right off the freeway, it was pretty packed. I found a pump and went inside to grab a snack and drink. Asked to use the bathroom. the attendant looked me up and down and then told me the bathrooms were closed. Never asked if I was a customer. My husband went in right after me asked to use the bathroom the very same attendant said yes and said he would be right with my husband. Another worker pulled up and told my husband to go in it isn't even locked! My husband ofcourse let me use the bathroom. I was mad. We went inside and I asked if they were managers and they both said no. Then i told them that it was bullshit to deny me and accept my husband with no questions asked! Then he told my husband that he asked if I was a customer and that I said NO! What a crock of shit! There was no reason for me to be denied the same respect. This is a GREAT gas station. Always very very clean and neat. Good windshield detergent and good washer blades. Store is clean. Employee's are BEST EVER! Food condiment area is the cleanest ever, and well stocked and kept fresh. Employees this am were walking lot with samples of pizza from warmer. Very nice touch. A lady from out of state was pumping gasoline and was offered a sample of pizza from a very neat and clean covered tray. She was amazed. She looked at me, and I told her "Welcome to California." This place actually isn't bad the 1 star review is because of an employee named derrick who thinks it's okay to try and steal from customers, I went in around 2:30AM I bought a water and a rockstar and requested 40$ cash back, apparently derrick must have thought I was a drunk and thought he could try and steal 20$ from my cash back, he tried to hide the other 20$ under my receipt and put the one he took in his pocket without me seeing I caught him immediately and way beyond shocked he removed it from his pocket and gave it back too me, I will never EVER come to the location when this disgusting excuse for an employee is working. Went for a car wash...paid $9 for one that essentially rinsed my car even though it was the "deluxe" or whatever. Then I after I found out you're supposed to get a discount with gas when you buy a car wash. I went and asked the men inside, and they treated me like I was an idiot saying you have to buy gas first in order to get a discount. Made no sense and they didn't want to explain it to me. Extremely poor customer service. Sad because I used to go out of my way to fill up my tank here...not going back simply because they were sketch about not wanting to give me a discount and because I now know their car wash is a complete JOKE. Tiffany the cashier at this location is awesome! One day I came in with my stash of change and close to my last drop of gas. She told me that I needed to roll them up and offered the roll packages. However, not willing to do that, I started to walk away. Tiffany stopped me and said she would help me roll the coins in between customers. For that alone I am forever grateful. She went above and beyond the call of duty of help a customer. She also has an excellent attitude and a great smile! read more

The gas prices here are good here in town and the location right off of the freeway is very good for commuting. There always are people here so trying to get a pump can be annoying. There's only 2 other gas stations that are cheaper and they are way out of the way and difficult to get to. Getting here off of the road can be dangerous too because the lot is quite full most of the time. read more

So it's 2:33am and the car wash was closed and turned off. My sister and I are on a trip for my BFF's birthday. We are driving to San Diego from San Jose. The windows were so dirty it was dangerous for us to continue driving. Eboni, the clerk on shift, was kind enough to remove the safety obstruction and waited until there was an absents of customer to turn on the whole car wash facility for us. She was so sweet and just a pleasure to be around. Her energy and personality is great and she put us in a wonderful mood for 2 in the morning driving. I have been on the road for 5 to 6 hours and she just brightened up our world. She was so beautiful inside and out. What a blessing she is. Very rude cashier. He thought my friend was stealing sunflower seeds. In reality, she was standing behind me waiting to pay. I made it pretty clear what I was going to pay for by laying out the items on the counter, but he thought I was paying for everyone behind me. Then he said in a very rude way, "well I thought you were in a group?" Just because I went with someone doesn't mean I'm paying for every one behind me. Will avoid this place at all costs. read more

The place was clean and well lit and the attendant was generally kind. I won't come to am/pm again though. And yes, over $0.32. I almost filled up with $40 in gas and then take my 10oz cup inside just to get a little ice. The gas station attendant says he will have to charge me $0.32. I laughed and said, "really?" He said, "yes, there's even a sign on the machine. I have to charge you." I said nevermind and went back out and stopped my gas (since I had enough to get home) from pumping and left. Are you kidding me? I'm already a paying customer and you're going to charge me 32 cents for less than a 10 oz cup of ice? BEST AWESOME TEAM at the am pm. I went there today for my lunch break (30min lunch) was in a big hurry to get back to work, i pd $20 cash on the machine... Entered pump 2 ... INSTEAD OF 12!! I adv a young employee man blondish with a beard, verry helpful ... he advised me the gas already has been pumped by the couple on pump 2!!! he adv his (assuming manager, tall and slender) manager right away got on the camara to make sure thats the correct guy that my money went to.. An it was...The employee went toward the man on pump 2 to ask if he can return my money.. At first he refused, an believed his wife was yelling at him too...but the young man insisted an finally the man that pump his gas with my money decided to give it back to me! :D ...also this man was like 8-ft very tall an intimidating !!! ...wish i had gotten their names of the employees there.. I was too much in a hurry i did not get it.. But sooo grateful he got that man to pay me back... I mean it could of gotten worst!!! I sure appreciate him taking that risk!! THANK U THANK U THANK U!!! I was at this location a couple of weeks ago. My family and I were purchasing some goodies for the road. When we reached the register and tried to pay with a credit card, the cashier said they only accept cash or debit. I explained that I only had a credit card, but the cashier refused to accept it. There was not a visible sign that stated this store or company policy. Instead of making an exception, the cashier refused to accept a credit card, so we had to leave. We actually left the items on the counter, which the cashier was not happy about, as we can tell by him mumbling under his breath. My overall experience was very negative, because this company does not want to pay credit card fees. I left a previous negative review, to explain my disgust with this debit or cash only policy and instead of the management responding to my concern, they decided to report it to Yelp. The review was removed by Yelp, claiming that the review was based on the policies of the business, rather than an actual customer experience. Well, now you have heard my actual customer experience. I think the policy of this store is terrible and ancient. I will never again got to another ARCO, because of how this company handles their business. If I am ever again in this area, there are other gas stations right near this one, that gladly accept credit for gas and for any items inside the store. Have a good day! read more

My fiancé and I had the worst service and experience today at this am pm. We stopped there on our way to get gas heading to LA. We filled our camary which was 64.00$. The Santa Ana's are in full effect today and it is 95 degrees in ventura. So me being the awesome fiancé left the car on but not running with the AC on high for her and our dog. I didn't feel like it was that long but the car wouldn't start. After asking many people at the pumps for a jump with no luck my fiancé went inside and asked the employees. One gentleman by the name of Russell said he had a jump box in his car and was eager to help. There were 2 other women working one named Lucy and the other Lori (one stocking candy bars) and both of them were extremely rude. Told my lady that it isn't their problem and that Russell needed to clock out and leave if he wanted to walk outside and get us his jump box. He actually offered to take his lunch break to help us but we declined. I just don't understand what has happened to humanity in general and if you Lucy and Lori are so disappointed in your pathetic lives then get out of customer service because you don't have any business being in it! I want to give Russell 5 stars and the other 2 women don't deserve my time writing this. read more
