This is a small coffee shop with mostly bar seating and one bench seat inside. There is a small patio that is available with some umbrellas for shade too. We came around 1:45pm on a weekday and it was packed. Everyone was set up with their laptops at the bar and the bench was not free at first but after a few minutes it was open so we sat there. I ordered an iced chai latte and a lemon sugar cookie. The chai latte was pretty bland. I could not taste any chai spices. The lemon sugar cookie was chef's kiss! It was soft, chewy and perfect in lemon flavor. My coworker got the iced matcha guava drink and said it was delicious. Next time I will try that. I love that they have roasted whole beans sold in little canisters. Next time I am running low on beans, I want to come buy some. I love the color theme of the shop; mint green, pastel pink and pastel yellow. The bathroom was also really clean and smelled clean.
If you're looking for a hip coffee spot with excellent service and spacious outdoor patio seating, Room Service Coffee is the place to be. The staff are the absolute kindest. I ordered a couple of their specialities, Parlor Latte and Service Station Latte. I love how I could mix it up by opting for matcha or double espresso. This time, I stuck with double espresso. The Parlor Latte was delicious with the perfect amount of caramel drizzle. The Service Station Latte was a mouthful of joy. The apple pie cream top was so decadent and subtle, truly the cherry on top for this drink. I also tried their gigantic chocolate chip cookies and it does taste as good as it looks. Don't think twice and try everything to your heart's satisfaction! I'll definitely be back!
I've come here a couple of times now to get some items to go. It's such a cute spot. Love what they did with the location. Parking can be tricky since there are EV chargers and other locations at Gasworks. If parking lot is full, theres street parking around the area. This specific spot, they do have their busy times so be prepared to wait if you do come during one of those times. I have been lucky and have gotten there when there wasnt a line out the door. Anytime I go I have to get pie. Skylar Bryce's pies are delicious. I have tried their matcha latte can and vanilla latte can. They were both really good. First place I think my husband and I have found where we would go buy cans from. Have gotten their tiramisu latte and biscuit. Both so good. The biscuit was so fluffly. Jam and butter it came with so good with it. Overall, have loved my experience here even though its been mainly to go. Weve been meaning to go back to actually sit and enjoy food and drinks there.
I loved the vibe when I walked in. Very industrial with the warmth only a coffee shop could have. The service was great and quick. We happened to be there when a lovely patron got a gift card to use for everyone's purchases. We got $10 off our order because of that! The food and drinks were excellent. Will definitely be coming back.
I love when Room Service has a seasonal menu-but at the same time I hate to see it go. Featured in the photo is a pistachio saffron brown sugar latte, and a Skylar Bryce biscuit . The latte is phenomenal, just the right amount of sweetness! The cold foam was a perfect add on. The biscuit flaky, salted, and just melt in your mouth good!
AMAZING coffee! Came here with my friend and i ordered their pistachio latte that was amazing! The lady that took our order was super seeer as she knew this was our first time visiting. There's also a little unique area where you can watch them make the baked goods.

Really cute and cozy coffee shop in Ventura and close to the beach. I came by before picking up my race bib for the Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. Packet pickup was happening close to the beach, but I wanted to get some breakfast before heading over. I got myself a matcha and a savory pastry to consume alongside it. The matcha was *perfectly* sweetened---so many places do matcha SO wrong, so I treasure any place that is able to capture the essence of matcha while maintaining a sweet flavor. The pastry was crispy, flaky, and full of savory flavor. The sesame seeds were a nice touch. I was able to sit at the bench by the wall inside the shop, though there isn't too much seating. You can peek into the kitchen as there is an open window area by the wall. Service was simple and fast. If you are in the area, it is worth checking out!
We got the lavender horchata latte and that tiramisu toffee latte! And the kids got lavender horchata steamers (no coffee)! we loved our drinks and the cookies! We got the chocolate chip cookie and the cranberry oatmeal cookie! My ONLY complaint is that they were out of the specials when we got here at 2pm. So the cookie box and pie slice they'd advertised online were already gone and that made me SO sad! But we will definitely be back for everything else!!
I feel happy with my drink. They do a nice job; they can drink look awesome. It's a beautiful place they have here. It looks kinda industrial, but it has a cute ecological vibe. You can enjoy your drink while you charge your coffee.
This has become such a popular spot in Ventura so I really wanted to come try their drinks. I ordered 2 of their speciality drinks: strawberry rhubarb shortcake matcha ($9.75) and the pistachio saffron brown sugar latter ($10). For the matcha it was more bitter than sweet and was not balanced enough for my taste. I love when my matcha isn't overpowered by the milk which is why I did not enjoy this drink. I felt that I could taste more of the milk than the matcha. For the pistachio latte I did enjoy that the espresso was strong but the latte lacked pistachio flavor overall. I was expecting the latte to have a strong pistachio flavor was you could barely taste hints of it. I love the minimalist interior inside and is great they have outside seating. The drinks were ready fairly quickly but we also went when it was not super busy. I would love to come back and try some of their pastries because I hear great things about those as well.
Stumbled upon Room Service Coffee when I stopped to charge my car. Fabulous chill space. Very knowledgeable staff/baristas! Solid cappuccino and several interesting looking seasonal flavored offerings as well. At 1:30pm on a Thursday, they had only sweet baked goods left. Savory options were sold out. They roast their own beans and bake all food in-house! Impressive. Looking forward to visiting again and trying a savory cheddar biscuit and perhaps one of their seasonal drinks!
I started coming to Room Service Coffee when they were doing the pop ups and was so excited when the shop finally opened! Admittedly I'm a bit delayed in finally writing a review. At this point, my go to order tends to be a biscuit (with the jam and butter) by Skylar Bryce as well as a yummy drink from Room Service. I've tried a variety of their drinks from their seasonal specials to the core staples. Recently, I tried their mocha with a cream top. It was so delicious! It wasn't too sweet, had good flavor, and was the perfect texture. It can definitely get busy on the more popular days to get coffee so be warned about a possible wait! I've been lucky that most of the times I've stopped, I haven't waited more than five minutes. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely continue to return!

I was struggling to find a coffee shop with the perfect balance of a beautiful interior, high quality coffee, and unique flavors but I was so happy to find Room Service! My boyfriend and I were making our way south after visiting Ojai and it was the perfect spot :) The coffee shop itself is not super large inside but there is a beautiful patio with shade to get some work done. The interior is so pleasing to the eye because everything feels thoughtfully chosen, including the blush pink, sage green, and butter yellow appliances. There is a small glass room where they bake their pastries! Their menu has a great variety of items- fizzy options, pour overs, matcha drinks, and lots of flavored, specialty lattes to choose from. I ordered the palm court (pandan) latte, and my boyfriend ordered the pineapple spro-jito and a cortado. The palm court (in my opinion) is a 10/10. It is sweet but the pandan cold foam top tasted like a not-overly sweet ice cream that melted into the espresso flavor smoothly. The pineapple spro-jito has an insane, deliciously light pineapple foam that suits the fizzy espresso. It was sweeter than I anticipated, so I actually ended up drinking more of it than my boyfriend did. I can't really speak on the cortado because I didn't taste it but I love being able to immerse myself in a curated coffee experience! The drinks are expensive but they are a great treat and often come with fun toppings. read more

#35 in my SOCAL COFFEE SHOP SERIES Solid coffee shop in Ventura with a great location and a good mix of speciality and traditional coffee drinks. My fiancé got their iced mocha and thought it was good. A little on the bitter unsweetened side if that is what you like. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was tasty. Not the best latte, but a good one nonetheless. Their drinks are a little more pricey (average $1-2 dollars more). They also have a selection of pastries! Sadly, I ordered a banana bread and it was forgotten :( There is some indoor bar stool seating as well as ample seating on an outdoor patio. I would say this is a good grab and go spot. It definitely feels trendy but seems to have frequent regulars. Overall, I am glad I tried it! But I don't think I would go back. read more

PISTACHIO SAFFRON BROWN SUGAR LATTE :) !!!!! Ahhh so good ! Finally tried Room Service & loved it! Price $11 and I'd pay that again. Well ... my cool tia paid (she invited me to go). Pero I'd go buy her one & myself another! Service was quick and friendly! The shop is small but there's seating inside and outside . I like the decor and color scheme! We went right before closing . People did arrive after the door was closed and we saw a lot of disappointed faces. Def a hit in the community. I'd rather support Room Service for a few more bucks and better coffee than a corp ! Also plus plus plus ... I love that they are good humans and truly care about being community centered & inclusive ! They even donate for good causes. I will be back ! Finally gave this place a try, ordered an iced matcha with cold foam & an iced chai. They were both pretty good! It would be helpful if they'd ask if you'd like your matcha sweetened - they didn't so I assumed it would already come sweetened.. it was still good but a bit strong for my liking once the cold foam was gone. read more
Wow talk about leveled up coffee! Stopped by room service for Mother's Day for something simple to start the day off for the wife and looked like a champ after the amazing artistry we walked out with! The drinks were crafted like something out of a magazine but it tasted even better than it looked. I loved the collaboration with a local small florist and the internal baker onsite making some amazing treats that you can actually watch is outstanding! I'm looking forward to stopping back over for some of the regular coffee and espresso to make this an everyday coffee stop that can elevate at the moments desire! read more
This place is my favorite coffee shop I tried in Ventura while visiting for work. The ambiance were on point with minimalist decor and chill vibes. I got the latte with black sesame and a savory biscuit. Omg both were incredible. I relaxed into my chair and just warmed up my hands on the perfect ceramic cup. The biscuit came with a whipped butter cream cheese and that paired so perfectly with the everything bagel seasoning. Loved it so much that I got beans to go for my team to try out. Will definitely go back to try more as both the coffee and baked goods menu had plenty to discover! read more
Room Service Coffee is the trendy new coffee spot in Ventura offering both coffee and pastries. I have been here on a few different occasions trying both basic coffees like the iced vanilla late and their specialty coffees. I was not very impressed by the vanilla late as it didn't taste like there was any vanilla in it, and while the specialty coffees are perfectly tasty, they are much too expensive for your average coffee break. The service is always excellent, the staff are very friendly and they give out super cute stickers. They are often pretty busy but also a nice study or work spot. If you are staying in they will serve your coffee and pastry in nice mugs and on plates which adds to the experience. I would only recommend for an occasional spot when you want to treat yourself to something new. read more

I've been meaning to come here for a little while and finally made it in. Best latte I think I've ever had. I tried the Kuro Latte (Double Espresso, House-Made Black Sesame, Brown Sugar Syrup, Yuzu Infused Cream Top). Amazing. The zucchini bread was fantastic too. Service was great, and it's a cool location by Mothers Tacos and Ruff House BBQ. read more
I take coffee joint reviews with a grain of salt because it's always the same complaints: "overpriced," "I could make this at home," "so-and-so is cheaper," yada yada. And sure, I can make a good coffee at home (house-made syrups, high-quality beans, the whole thing)... but it does NOT hit the same. That's where Room Service comes in. This is my go-to when I want a fancy coffee buzz that actually delivers. Yes, it's $7, and yes, it tastes like a million bucks. The drinks are consistently good, the staff is genuinely welcoming, and the pastries are amazing (woman-owned by Skylar, which I love). The iced japanese black sugar latte has my heart, and those flaky buttermilk biscuits with salted butter and jam are unreal. Do I come here every single day? No. Do I want to? Absolutely. Plus, you earn points, and points equal free lattes. A win-win in girl math. Highly recommend when you want coffee that feels like a little treat. Bonus points for the sunny outdoor space. - Great seasonal drink and syrup selection - They use kettl matcha - a good sign! The matcha was tasty, balanced, not too milk-forward. - Chocolate chip cookie was crispy on the edges but chewy in the middle. Not too thin, but slightly on the thinner side compared to thicker. Had chocolate and some kind of toffee melted in the middle, topped with Maldon salt. Went here twice and both times it was so busy!! Service is decently quick considering the quantity of drinks and people they were trying to serve. Tried 2 of their spring drinks. One was a pistachio saffron brown sugar oat milk latte which we got half sweet and was perfect and refreshing! The other was a special mont blanc cold brew w orange zest, cream. That also was good and fun to try something different though a $10 coffee is definitely on the steep side from where I come from. read more
Saw this all over my social media and was excited to try out a new coffee place in Ventura. Their building wasn't open yet, so it was literally a pop-up stand by Mothers Tacos. Got there pretty early. There was already a line, but they got through it pretty efficiently. I got the Japanese Black Sugar Latte. The drink was strong, and I can definitely say the flavors were there and very intense. But they were so intense, I couldn't really pick apart the complexity. Definitely woke me up. Room Service Coffee in Ventura is a vibe! Nestled inside the Gasworks building, this coffee shop nails the balance between clean, minimalistic design and a cozy welcoming atmosphere. The team here is incredibly friendly, and I was impressed with how quickly they moved the line while still serving up gorgeous, carefully crafted coffees. When I got here the line was a few people deep but from ordering, sitting, and getting my order it was all done in under 10 minutes. Impressive for a busy popular shop. Also kudos to the staff for calling your name when your orders ready, immediately appreciate this touch (vs places that call out a coffee order and multiple people run up) and something so small helps with my order anxiety lol. Their fall specials are a must try as they are the most perfect flavors to sip on as the weather cools down. Here's what I had (notes taken from the website menu) : SAGE, MAPLE & BLACK SESAME LATTE - maple syrup infused with black sesame tahni and fresh sage leaves, garnished with black sesame seeds. 10/10 YUZU PEAR HARVEST MATCHA - kettl matcha, spiced pear syrup infused with yuzuco yuzu, topped with cinnamon dusting. 10/10 BUTTERMILK BISCUIT - buttermilk biscuit topped with flaky maldon salt served with european butter and rasberry compote. 9/10 read more

Excellent addition to the area! We make stops in their parking lot quite often to charge our car whenever we come back from down south. To our surprise this time, Room Service was open! Luckily, the hubby decided to check it out. I wasn't going to get anything and just stay in the car instead, since it was just a convenience stop for us. After checking them out on yelp and seeing the menu plus all the pictures of the latte art, I quickly texted the hubby to get me a latte and one of their pie slices. The indoor looks like a converted garage. Pretty open and spacious. Their restroom is also clean, which is a big bonus since we could always use a pit stop whenever we stop here to charge our car. 1 star. The hubby got their fall special drink of japanese black sugar latte. It was good, but I don't think it's $10 good. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk since they have very limited options for syrup flavors. Both latte have beautiful latte art, but for the size, they're both a little overpriced. 2 stars They have 3 baristas that day behind the counter. However, my drink seems to take a little longer to get out and they didn't seem that busy either. 0.5 star Since we stop here often, if they still open when we get here, we'll definitely pay them another visit, especially for those pies, which I didn't get to try this time. Okay to start this off, I love the vibe of the place! Super cute. They are always so careful about my gluten allergy and they check the ingredients to be extra sure. As for the drinks...they are extremely expensive for what they are tbh. I like the matcha, but I feel like when I get it with milk, that's all you can taste. And, when I get it with coconut water, the matcha is so bitter. Im more of a semi- sweet matcha with a sweet cold foam sort of girl. I loveeeee their coconut whip topping. But, $2 for the add on is kinda crazy. I really wanted to enjoy the matcha but I definitely have some mixed feelings. I've been getting the coconut whip on top and mixing it in to give it more sweetness, which honestly helps a lot. I'd love to see another dairy free cold foam option. And, definitely a little bit of a price decrease would be super nice. My Matcha was around $15 read more

This was, without a doubt, the worst and most overpriced coffee I've ever had. I ordered the Black Sesame Latte, which cost $10, but all they did was sprinkle a tiny bit of black sesame on top of regular whipped cream. If you're going to call it a Black Sesame Latte, it should actually have a rich, nutty black sesame flavor throughout the drink. Instead, it tasted like absolutely nothing. The sesame was buried in the cream, so I could barely taste it at all. I honestly felt scammed. I never want to come back here, and now I understand why Ventura isn't a popular destination. The prices are outrageous, and both the food and the coffee are terrible. Ironically, the complimentary breakfast and coffee at my hotel were the best I've had during this trip. I got the campfire peppermint houjicha, iced. This drink is delicious ! I was a little hesitant to get it at first because I wasn't feeling peppermint. However, the peppermint was NOT overpowering, it was subtle. The sweetness & peppermint balances out. I enjoyed every sip! read more
Can't wait for room service to officially open! I stopped by on a Sunday at 940am. By the time I got to the front, they were sold out of the savory hand pies (spinach feta) so I ordered the biscuit with honey butter instead and the strawberry coconut cloud matcha. I got my biscuit right away - each bite was fluffy, buttery, and sweet. The drink was light, hydrating, and subtly sweet and creamy. It was a perfect recovery drink after a lot of sun exposure the day before. It took about 40 mins to get the full order so if you're getting in line at the popup, come prepared to wait! Excited to try a coffee drink next time or a more matcha forward drink. read more

I don't usually leave reviews unless I'm really impressed, and this place definitely deserved one. I'm always on the road, and Anaheim is one of my favorite stops, but after finding this spot, I already know this is going to be my new Anaheim oasis. I spent about 3 and a half hours here working on my laptop, and the whole experience was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered coffee, a side of fries, and a fresh pomegranate juice. I wasn't too hungry because I had already eaten earlier, but everything was great. My waitress was amazing, and the staff made me feel comfortable the entire time. I never felt pressured even though I stayed for a while. The vibe was perfect, and the music was on point without being too loud. It made it easy to work and enjoy the atmosphere at the same time. I pass Room Service every day on my way to work and always wish I had time to stop in. Found the time! Went the non coffee route and got the Yuzu Arnold Palmer & a cheddar scallion biscuit. Arnold Palmer is so refreshing. The biscuit...get the biscuit! Layers and layers with crisp on top and soft in the middle. The scallion flavor is strong which is a win in my book. Decent sized parking lot. Parents FYI no changing table in the bathroom for littles. Staff were nice and helpful when I was unsure of what I wanted. I see why this is a popular spot with the other businesses in the same area and shared outdoor seating. Close to the beach so perfect to grab some goodies and go! read more
