Crazy Turkey Dry onion bagel/strawberry cream cheese
    Tara F.

This place is located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking you order at the counter and they have plenty of freshly baked bagels that are massive. They also have flavored cream cheese is available and they also have specialty sandwiches to choose from.. I ordered their crazy turkey on a dry onion bagel with strawberry cream cheese and this was phenomenal. I loved how the strawberry cream cheese was fresh. I like my bagel served open face. It's not so hard on my jaw and this was perfect. I'm not from the area, but if you are from this area, I do highly recommend

I was craving a bagel and it was so lucky that I was near the cafe. They had a great variety of bagel sandwich options and you could also customize your order. The bagel was so fresh and soft it was easy to bite into. It was cool to watch them hand make the bagels. I really liked the ruben sandwich the meat was very tender. The person who took our order was very nice and patience with us because it took us a while to decide what we wanted. The little shop is so cute! You would definitely miss it tho if you didn't know where it was. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

The customer service was next level. Everyone there was so warm and inviting.

I have been wanting to try this place and made it over this morning. Breakfast sandwich hit the spot! 5 cheese Everything bagel with eggs n bacon. It was soft, huge, satisfying, and will get me through the day. The guy at the counter was super helpful with suggesting the popular items. The inside is a little narrow with a few tables and seating outside. It is right behind community memorial, we were able to easily find parking. Took our bagels to go and devoured them at home lol. We'll be back!

Cheese pull for the win! Breakfast (w/meat, egg and cheese); Add-ons were 5-cheese bagel, chive cc, double bacon, and spinach.

I beg your finest pardon Bagelicious Café!! But that was one helluva delicious bagel!! First time to Ventura but they just gained a forever customer! So good! Ordered: Breakfast Bagel with meat which already comes with egg and cheese; Add-ons were 5-cheese bagel, chive cc, double bacon, and spinach. Chef's kiss!

I'm not gonna lie, this might have been the best bagel sandwich I have ever had. We stopped by here after our morning workout and let me tell you this was the best place to refuel at. The inside was pretty small with not much seating, but there is additional seating outside, or you can take in the SoCal weather and eat on the beach like we did. The lady working was also so kind and thoughtful and truly made it a wonderful experience. I decided on a breakfast sandwich with ham egg and cheese which just melted in my mouth. I love cheese so I paid $1 extra for it to be on a 5-cheese bagel which was totally worth it and I would highly recommend. This place is so underrated and needs more hype, will definitely be back for future bagel cravings!

Bagel had more of a dry bread consistency- not a fan!

Considering the rating I was expecting more. The bagels are decent but I wouldn't say they are a solid "good". The bagels weren't your average bagel consistency. My 5-cheese bagel tasted like a slice of dry bread. I didn't like the sausage they used in my bagel sandwich. It's also pretty expensive, $43 for 2 bagel sandwiches, a coffee, & a chai. My husband hated the coffee, he said it was bitter & way too strong! The chai was good though. I would try a different bagel shop next time.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast on our way home from our trip. The bagels did not disappoint! You could tell they are freshly made and delicious. You order inside and there are a few tables inside and a few tables outside to eat. We sat outside since it was such a nice day. The ordering process was easy and the food came out quickly and hot! Everything tasted delicious and I wish I lived in the area to come back. I got the breakfast sandwich with egg, tomato, onion and cheese. It was the perfect bagel and if I'm in the area I would definitely come back!

Alma, you were a delight to talk to!! I've had this place bookmarked for a while now, and today I wanted to try something new and nearby my house. As other reviewers have mentioned, it can be a little tricky to find, but it's worth the effort. I ordered a Yucateco bagel with everything gluten-free bagel. The bagel was warm and filled with pork loin, coleslaw, chipotle dressing, and jalapeños. Wow, that was so satisfying and full of flavor! I want to go back to try more of their food. Unfortunately, the rainbow bagel can't be made gluten-free because it's too much work to make. But that's understandable, and I appreciate that they at least have some gluten-free options. They also have a drink menu that includes coffee, chai, and Mexican hot chocolate, which Alma told me is their best seller. I'll have to go back to try it some other day. Although the restaurant has just a few tables inside and outside, it feels cozy and comfortable. Most people probably take their food to go anyways. I sat down in one of the chairs for a few minutes while my bagel was being made, and I had a lovely conversation with Alma, which made the time go even faster.

Great service. Even brought a bowl of water for my dog. Bagels were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Four small outdoor tables. They gave us samples of the rainbow bagel and I may come back just for that.

The food and drinks are super good and worth the prices. I really liked my Reuben sandwich and Mexican hot chocolate and my husband enjoyed his chicken curry sandwich. The employees are super friendly too! They also have interesting bagel flavors in interesting colors! The service was a little slow but it was close to the end of the day for them and everything was freshly made. The restaurant is small and cute with an outside patio. We are very happy to have tried this place and hope to be back soon.

This is a very small hole in the wall type of place for breakfast bagels, they also have the lunch menu as well I've had the chicken club from their popular items on yelp And it didn't disappoint. Then I went again to try a breakfast egg pastrami bagel and it was great as well The cashier who is also the server is great and welcoming Ambiance is very nice as well you can see the bagels behind the glass

Bagel breakfast sandwich with ham! Yum!

A few years ago when I first discovered this place I noticed how popular the Jalapeño Cheese bagels were. I thought they looked weird and I was very reluctant to try one. I was happy with my standard order: an Everything Bagel. Then one day, I don't know what possessed me, I decided to find out what was up with those Jalapeño Cheese bagels. Holy hell those sons of bitches are good! It's astonishing how good really. Sure am sorry it took me so long to try them. And there are so many variations with jalapeno! Just to name the ones I remember: Jalapeno 1 Cheese, Jalapeno 4 Cheese, Everything Jalapeno 1 Cheese, Everything Jalapeno 4 Cheese Everything seasoning on top of a Jalapeno 4 Cheese. You know, like Jalapeño' 4 Cheese wasn't already mind-blowingly delicious enough. No, Bagel Rock Cafe is like, hold my cream cheese. Then they do that thing they do, with Everything. I really don't know why I'm telling you all this. I know you probably already knew. Seems like I'm the last person in the world to discover how great Jalapeno 4 Cheese bagels are. What left me uncomfortable was the service. Throughout the meal, I felt singled out and dismissed in ways that were hard to ignore. Staff were outwardly polite and seemed to be making an effort to be friendly, but the interactions often felt forced and noticeably different from the way other customers were being treated. Requests seemed to be met with impatience, and I repeatedly got the sense that I wasn't being welcomed in the same way as others around me. One example was when we asked if a finished plate could be removed to make room for new dishes that had just arrived. The request was met with hesitation, and it felt as though taking the plate was an inconvenience. Later, when I asked for to-go containers, the employee handing them to me appeared visibly strained to be courteous. It was one of several interactions that left me feeling like basic requests were being tolerated rather than accommodated. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but the overall experience left me feeling unwelcome despite the surface-level friendliness. I came away wondering whether bias played a role in how I was treated. What stood out most was the contrast between how we were treated and how some others were treated. From where we were seated, I observed other customers receiving noticeably warmer service, including more smiles, friendlier conversation, and a more welcoming attitude. My party did not experience that same level of warmth. The food itself was very good, but the service experience would make me hesitate to return.
