Food: (5/5) I always drive 164th so I've been eyeing this spot for a long time. My partner and I decided to finally stop by last week and our minds were blown!! We got the fried catfish, collard greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, and sweet potato pie. Everything was AMAZING. The catfish was crunchy on the outside and perfectly succulent on the inside. The black eyed peas and collard greens were both delicious savory additions to the meal with great texture. The cornbread had additions of cheese and peppers, and was a yummy mix of sweet and salty. The sweet potato pie, which we learned Andre's wife makes, was beyond addicting. If we hadn't had a snack before coming, we would've cleared everything immediately. We plan to try everything on the menu, especially the fried okra! Service: (5/5) This was probably the most memorable food experience I have ever had. Andre, the owner, is extremely passionate about his work and it shows in everything that he does. We ended up chatting for quite awhile and our conversation reminded me of everything that's important in my personal life, in the best way. Please come by! You won't regret it for a second.

The guy at the front was super nice and told me how to reheat the cornbread but honestly it didn't even need to be. Best soul food up north of Seattle!

There are so many things on their menu that look good but we stuck with the street tacos. We had to try a bunch of different kinds. I will call out that the pollo asada was the clear cut winner. Quesabirria was second. Both the Al Pastor and Asada came in third. Not to say any were not to our liking. The Chicken was just so flavorful. The sauces were fantastic as well. The avocado sauce was BOMB. Also great hot sauces. Both hot and flavorful. Most of the time they're either too plain or not hot at all. This place checked all the boxes, and now that we know this place is close by and has the goods we will frequent here I have no doubt! Staff were very friendly and prices seemed pretty in line with other spots. See ya soon!

The service is good. The only thing I didn't like was you had to have a physical card their thing was down so you couldn't tap Pay, or else you could have cash so I had to go in my car lol and find my physical card that's a cute little food truck just off to the side and they have some seating there. That's really nice outside. You know on a warm day it's good. But like I said, the food was really good this time. I really enjoyed it and it was worth the drive.

Delivery review In…read moreshort Amazing enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. Tamales are solid. In long This was an excellent way to feast during a football Sunday. We got to try a bunch of different stuff that showed up still hot and we had a ton of good dishes. Enchiladas Tender, great filling, awesome carne still showing just the right amount of chew with really well-developed seasonings. The rice on the side was a little tired and dry but the beans were okay, and the enchiladas are the point. Chile verde burrito Mild flavors but great textures and a very appealing dish. Really woke up with some salsa splashed on. Tamales We got one of each of the 3 they offer. They're okay. Subdued flavors on the fillings, and masa gets kind of heavy. Definitely a decent addition to the menu. Tacos Got the carne and the carnitas. Both excellent, tons of flavor, generously filled. Tortillas a little soft but flavor was good. Chips and salsa Not the spiciest salsas, but flavors are good. Chips seemed store-bought, but, hey, it's a truck. They can't do everything from scratch. We never noticed this place before and we're really glad we checked them out.
