I really enjoy the aloo gobi at another restaurant in Issaquah but I was not a huge fan of it here, same with the butter chicken. They were both just okay and definitely edible, they just didn't stand out to me. The garlic naan was yummy though! The pork was not warm or fresh tasting and generally lacked much flavor. I'm guessing, because if its location (middle of business park) and delivery and take out volume it's geared more towards serving employees of neighboring businesses. Browsing their menu online, they seemed to have a weekday lunch special at a reasonable price with a pretty good amount of food. You can choose one rice option (regular or fried rice) and one soup option (Egg Flower or Hot & Sour). I know it is pretty basic Chinese restaurant you can find anywhere in the States... The app said my order would be ready in about 15 minutes, but I ended up getting there later because I had something else to take care of. I was a little worried the food might be cold by the time I arrived. But when I got there, the person working there (I'm guessing the owner) asked how spicy I wanted it and made a fresh batch in about 2 minutes before packing everything up. Really nice touch! The staff was friendly, and the food was still nice and hot. As for the taste, it's pretty much what you'd expect from any typical Chinese restaurant. Nothing super unique, but definitely familiar. I had the egg flower soup first. It was nice and comforting before the meal. For the General Tso's chicken, I chose level 3 out of 5 for the spice, and it was just right for me. Overall, nothing mind-blowing, but there was something nostalgic about the whole meal. It kind of tasted like the Chinese food I remember from years ago. One funny thing I noticed from the reviews... they have Pad Thai here too ;) A few people seem to like it, so now I'm kind of curious. Might have to try that next time.

Junior Kuppanna in Bothell seems to be popular mainly because it's one of the only places open…read moreearly for weekend breakfast, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was mediocre at best. The idly was nice and fluffy, but shockingly small. It was about half the size of what you would get at most other South Indian restaurants. It honestly felt like mini idlies. The vada was made fresh, but it wasn't fully cooked and was still doughy on the inside. The coconut chutney didn't taste fresh at all and very clearly felt like it had been made days earlier and refrigerated. The ginger chutney was overly sweet and poorly balanced. The sambar and Filter Coffee were the only saving grace. Sambar had good flavor and the right consistency. That said, the only vegetable we found in it was onion, which was disappointing. Given the quality and quantity of food, the prices are completely unjustified. While I was surprised that the filter coffee was actually quite good, charging $4.50 for half a cup of filter coffee is nothing short of daylight robbery. The worst part of the experience, however, was discovering that they charge a 3% credit card processing fee that is not disclosed anywhere, neither on their physical menu nor online. This is unacceptable and misleading. I will be filing a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, as businesses are required by law to clearly inform customers of such fees before the transaction. Overall, this place is not worth the price or the hype. Convenience alone doesn't justify poor value and lack of transparency.
